Algorithmic Thinking Development with Generative Learning Objects Support

El desarrollo del pensamiento algorítmico es una de las dificultades que los estudiantes confrontan cuando aprenden a programar, utilizar la estructura de selección y de control correcta es un gran reto. En la investigación se utilizaron objetos de aprendizaje generativos para el desarrollo del pensamiento algorítmico en el curso de fundamentos de programación ofrecido a los estudiantes de nuevo ingreso de la carrera de ingeniería en sistemas computacionales. El enfoque metodológico de la investigación fue cuantitativo, con diseño cuasi-experimental por lo que se aplicó pretest y postest. Los resultados obtenidos permitieron determinar que el beneficio de los objetos de aprendizaje generativos fue relevante.Algorithmic thinking development is a difficulty that students have to confront when they learn programming the right use of selection and control structures is a big challenge. Propuesta de la Grounded Theory en el Enfoque por Competencias en Instituciones de Educación Superior

El enfoque por competencias ha sido ampliamente utilizado en muchas partes del mundo, en Europa y América Latina con el desarrollo del proyecto Tuning, en España con el Libro Blanco y en Estados Unidos haciendo énfasis en las competencias profesionales. México aunque colaboró con el proyecto Tuning América Latina, su participación se restringió a unas cuantas instituciones.  En la actualidad son varias las universidades que se están integrando al proceso educativo en el enfoque por competencias. En los Institutos Tecnológicos de México el enfoque por competencias se empezó a utilizar desde el año 2004, aunque se han establecido diferentes estrategias para introducir a los docentes a este tipo de enseñanza, existen dudas acerca del desempeño del docente en la práctica por competencias en su contexto socioeducativo. Esta investigación presenta una propuesta de estudio para determinar qué representa, qué valor y qué prácticas didácticas realiza el docente en el enfoque por competencias con base en la teoría fundamentada.Palabras Clave: Competencias, teoría fundamentada

Modelo Integral de Evaluación de Proveedores de Servicios de Mantenimiento con Énfasis en la Seguridad

The objective was to develop a model to comprehensively evaluate the performance of maintenance service providers with an emphasis on safety. The research had a qualitative approach and the type of design was the case study of an automotive company dedicated to the design and development of chassis. Observation, in-depth interview and focus groups were used. Finally, the elements of the model were designed, which consists of four instruments to evaluate the performance of service providers: (a) by the purchasing area, (b) maintenance, (c) safety and hygiene and (d) to evaluate to the company itself by the suppliers. In addition, the model is made up of the tool for monitoring service incidents and the comprehensive evaluation of the service. The instrument validation was carried out by the area managers and the plant manager.El objetivo fue desarrollar un modelo para evaluar de manera integral el desempeño de proveedores de servicios de mantenimiento con énfasis en la seguridad. La investigación tuvo un enfoque cualitativo y el tipo de diseño fue el estudio de caso de caso de una empresa automotriz dedicada al diseño y desarrollo de chasis.  Se utilizó la observación, entrevista a profundidad y grupos focales. Finalmente, se diseñaron los elementos del modelo que consta de cuatro instrumentos para evaluar el desempeño de los proveedores de servicios: (a) por parte del área de compra, (b) mantenimiento, (c) seguridad e higiene y (d) para evaluar a la propia empresa por parte de los proveedores. Además, el modelo se compone de la herramienta para el seguimiento de incidencias del servicio y la evaluación integral del servicio. DIAGNOSIS OF TICS IN THE SMALLS OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS POTOSÍ IN THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE SECTOR FOR THE DISSEMINATION OF ITS SERVICES

In recent years information and communication technologies are present in all sectors of our lives and the food and drink sector is no exception, so a diagnosis was made in this area in small and medium enterprises in the city of San Luis Potosí in the areas for the management and dissemination of their services, as they are currently at a disadvantage in front of large restaurant chains that have mobile applications, web pages and other applications. The research design applied is descriptive. Thirty-two MSMEs from the food and beverage sector in the city of San Luis Potosí were affiliated with the National Chamber of the restaurant and food industry (Canirac). The variables that were taken into consideration are: Use of computer equipment, ICT specialists, Internet access and use, Social Media, Electronic Commerce. The study found that most SMEs in the restaurant sector, use the social network Facebook as a means of disseminating services and promotions, However, they do not use all the potential that the social tool provides them, due to the lack of knowledge and lack of preparation to interact better with their customers and suppliers. In addition, most of the sample has the need to advertise through electronic means, through mobile phone applications
