A new validated high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method with rapid analysis time and high efficiency, for the analysis of erythromycin, azithromycin and spiramycin, under isocratic conditions with ODB RP18 as a stationary phase is described. Using an eluent composed of acetonitrile –2-methyl-2-propanol –hydrogenphosphate buffer, pH 6.5, with 1.5% triethylamine (33:7: up to 100, v/v/v), delivered at a flow-rate of 1.0 mL min-1. Ultra Violet (UV) detection is performed at 210 nm. The selectivity is satisfactory enough and no problematic interfering peaks are observed. The procedure is quantitatively characterized and repeatability, linearity, detection and quantification limits are very satisfactory. The method is applied successfully for the assay of the studied drugs in pharmaceutical dosage forms as tablets and powder for oral suspension. Recovery experiments revealed recovery of 97.13–100.28%

Anovereview Of Voice Operated Door Lock Along With Other Consumer Electronic Devicesthrough Android App

In many cases we find difficult to get into our house any we find we have missed somewhere out door key or forgot to carry our key while going somewhere. In many cases it happens that the door gets locked any key remains inside the house. This project is designed to solve this purpose. Main concept behind theproject is to design a door latch which can be open by a password through anybody.Other consumer electronic applications arelight ,fan, geaser etc.The paper presents the idea of a door lock system with other consumer electronics which are controlled remotely from anywhere anytime. The main aim of the project is for door security purpose. For voice recognisation, inbuilt speech recognisation of android mobile is used. This voice is sent over internet to cloud server. Block base coding is used for app developing. The data is read by the microcontroller to control the door lock and any other devices. The door can be operated through any particular voice

Role of Transposable Elements in Genome Stability: Implications for Health and Disease

    No full text
Most living organisms have in their genome a sizable proportion of DNA sequences capable of mobilization; these sequences are commonly referred to as transposons, transposable elements (TEs), or jumping genes. Although long thought to have no biological significance, advances in DNA sequencing and analytical technologies have enabled precise characterization of TEs and confirmed their ubiquitous presence across all forms of life. These findings have ignited intense debates over their biological significance. The available evidence now supports the notion that TEs exert major influence over many biological aspects of organismal life. Transposable elements contribute significantly to the evolution of the genome by giving rise to genetic variations in both active and passive modes. Due to their intrinsic nature of mobility within the genome, TEs primarily cause gene disruption and large-scale genomic alterations including inversions, deletions, and duplications. Besides genomic instability, growing evidence also points to many physiologically important functions of TEs, such as gene regulation through cis-acting control elements and modulation of the transcriptome through epigenetic control. In this review, we discuss the latest evidence demonstrating the impact of TEs on genome stability and the underling mechanisms, including those developed to mitigate the deleterious impact of TEs on genomic stability and human health. We have also highlighted the potential therapeutic application of TEs

A Review of the Pharmacological Characteristics of Vanillic Acid

A dihydroxybenzoic acid analog used as a flavoring agent is vanillic acid (4hydroxy-3-methoxybenzoic acid). It's a form of vanillin that has been oxidized. It's also a step in the process of making vanillin from Ferulic Acid. Vanillic acid has seen a lot of press because of its many uses in the cosmetics, fruit, flavorings, cigarettes, alcohols, drinks, and polymer sectors. It's said to have effective antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and neuroprotective properties. The pharmacological impact on oxidative stress-induced neuro-degeneration, on the other hand, have not been thoroughly examined. The pharmacological properties of vanillic Acid lead to its possible use in the treatment of various diseases. Keywords: Vanillic acid, Pharmacological Potential, wound healing, Antioxidant

Controversy exists as to whether neoadjuvant chemotherapy improves survival in patients with invasive bladder cancer, despite randomised controlled trials of more than 3000 patients. We undertook a systematic review and meta-analysis to assess the effect of such treatment on survival in patients with this disease

Opportunities for Biodiesel Compatibility as a Modern Combustion Engine Fuel

This chapter summarizes the feasibility of effective utilization of biodiesel in modern vehicle engines. The parameters discussed in this chapter include diesel engine characterization and diagnostics including performance, emissions, and combustion behavior. The lifecycle and economic analyses with future scope of biodiesel are also described. From the review, it is conferred that a huge proportion of biodiesel is produced from edible vegetable oils, which is a threat to the food supply. Biodiesel sources are focused upon non-edible oils and other feedstocks that do not compete with the food crops. Therefore, the selection of appropriate feedstock is essential to confirm the low-cost production of biodiesel. Concerning the engine characteristics and combustion diagnostics, it can be ensured that biodiesel improves engine performance and emission characteristics with little engine modifications such as injection timing, pressure, exhaust gas recirculation, etc. The review holds well on the possibility of using biodiesel in diesel engines, but still it is not economically viable and needs more research and technology advancements to make it competitive with other conventional fuels in the marke
