Adolescência e passagem ao ato sexual violento : análise do eixo narcísico-identitário no método de Rorschach

Dissertação (mestrado)—Universidade de Brasília, Instituto de Psicologia, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Psicologia Clínica e Cultura, 2012.Este estudo teve por objetivo compreender o funcionamento psíquico dos adolescentes que praticaram ato sexual violento nos aspectos relativos ao funcionamento narcísico e identitário. A adolescência é um momento de intensos remanejamentos em que são colocadas à prova as bases de constituição do narcisismo e da identidade do sujeito. Nos adolescentes em que não houve um cuidado suficientemente bom que possibilitasse a construção sólida dessas bases da organização psíquica, ou que apresentaram falhas ao longo do seu desenvolvimento precoce, nas primeiras relações objetais, esse período pode ser particularmente difícil, e a passagem ao ato pode se constituir em uma saída. Discute-se a hipótese de que, particularmente nos adolescentes que passam ao ato sexual violento, a problemática narcísica torna-se evidente, com dificuldades em lidar com os limites entre o interior e o exterior e com a posição passiva. Participaram da pesquisa quatro adolescentes que cometeram atos sexuais violentos com idades entre 15 e 18 anos. Dois adolescentes estavam sendo acompanhados em uma clínica-escola e dois estavam sob medida socioeducativa em unidades de internação. O método utilizado na pesquisa foi o clínico-qualitativo com estudo de caso clínico, na perspectiva de grupo único. Como instrumentos foram utilizados entrevistas semidirigidas, que possibilitaram a organização da história do adolescente, e o método de Rorschach, na perspectiva teórica da Escola de Paris. A análise dos protocolos privilegiou o investimento dos limites; o investimento libidinal na representação de si; os investimentos narcísicos sobre a relação de objeto e as defesas narcísicas. Primeiramente, os dados dos quatro protocolos de Rorschach foram considerados de maneira conjunta e, logo em seguida, dois casos clínicos foram apreciados mais detalhadamente, abordando também a histórica desses adolescentes. As análises evidenciaram a inexistência de um perfil único dos adolescentes que passam ao ato sexual violento, no entanto, identificaram-se fragilidades narcísicas e identitárias; dificuldade de investimento nos limites e na representação de si. ______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACTThis study aims at understanding the psychic functioning of teenagers that have violent sexual intercourses regarding the sense of self and narcissistic functioning aspects. Teenage is a period of intense rearrangement when all the bases of the subject’s constitution of narcissism and of the self are tested. This period can be particularly difficult for teenagers that haven’t received enough care regarding a solid basis on the construction of their psychic organization or who had shown some lacks during the premature development of their first object relations, thus the passage to the sexual act can constitute a solution. There is an hypothesis that, specifically in teenagers that have come to violent sexual intercourses, the narcissistic problematic becomes evident, showing their difficulties in dealing with inner and outer limits and with the passive position. Four 15 to 18 year old teenagers who committed sexual abuse took part in this research. Two of them had been assisted in a school clinic and the other two were responding to social-educative penalties in detention units. The clinical-qualitative method and a clinical case study were used in this work. Semi-directed interviews were conducted in order to promote the historical organization of the teenagers and the method of Rorschach was analyzed through the theoretical perspective of the Paris school. The protocols analyses privileged the investment on limits, the libidinal investments on the representation of the self, the narcissistic investments regarding the relation with the object and the narcissistic defenses. Firstly, the data of the four protocols of Rorschach were collectively analyzed. Afterwards, two clinical cases were assessed with some particularity, taking into consideration the background of the teenagers The analyses have shown the inexistence of a single profile of teenagers who have had violent sexual intercourses. Nevertheless, some narcissistic and identitary frailties, difficulties in investing on limits and on the representation of the self were identified

Problemática de la identidad-narcisista en adolescentes ofensores sexuales: las contribuciones del Rorschach de la Escuela de Paris

Este artigo analisa a problemática narcísica-identitária de adolescentes que cometeram abuso sexual. Parte-se da hipótese de que é diante dos remanejamentos psíquicos ocorridos na adolescência e das dificuldades do aparelho psíquico em exercer a função de paraexcitação que pode ocorrer a passagem ao ato violento. Foi utilizado o Método de Rorschach na perspectiva da abordagem francesa da Escola de Paris, com grupo único de 4 adolescentes, de idades entre 15 e 18 anos, que praticaram violência sexual. A interpretação dos protocolos considerou os investimentos nos limites, as defesas narcísicas e seus efeitos, o investimento na representação de si, a identidade e a identificação. Conclui-se que a dificuldade de definição dos limites, a problemática identificatória, a inibição e o restrito manejo pulsional, bem como o estabelecimento de relações especulares com o uso de defesas narcísicas, indicam falhas no processo de subjetivação.This article analyzes the narcissistic-identitary problematic of adolescents who commit sexual abuse. It starts with the hypothesis that in adolescence, a psychic rearrangement occurs and difficulties begin within the psychic apparatus that exercises the stop-excitation function, which may lead to a violent act. We used the Rorschach Method in the French Approach of Parisian School, with a group of four adolescents aged 15 to 18 who had committed acts of sexual violence. The interpretation of the protocols considered the investment in the limits; the narcissistic defense and its effects, investment in the representation of the self, the identity and the identification. The study concluded that the difficulty of defining the limits, identification problematic, inhibition and limited drive management, in addition to the establishment of specular relations using narcissistic defenses indicated flaws in the process of subject choice.Este artigo analiza la problemática de la identidad-narcisista de los adolescentes que han cometido abuso sexual. Se basa en la hipótesis de la reubicación psíquica que ocurre en la adolescencia y de las dificultades del aparato psíquico al ejercer la función de para-excitación, pueden llegar a un acto violento. Fue utilizado el Método de Rorschach en la perspectiva del abordaje francés de la Escuela de Paris, con un grupo único de cuatro adolescentes con las edades entre 15 y 18 años, que habían cometido violencia sexual. La interpretación de los protocolos consideró los investimentos en los limites; las defensas narcisistas y sus efectos, el investimento en la auto-representación, la identidad y la identificación. Tras el estudio, se concluye que la dificultad en la delimitación de los limites, la problemática identificación, la inhibición y la restricción del manejo de los impulsos, además del establecimiento de relaciones especulares usando las defensas narcisistas indican fallas en el proceso de subjetivación

Psychosocial intervention with the adult responsible for intra-familiar sexual violence against children and adolescents

O texto tem como objetivo apresentar um relato de experiência de intervenção psicossocial grupal para adultos autores de violência sexual intrafamiliar contra crianças e adolescentes. O atendimento à pessoa que comete violência está previsto no Plano Nacional de Enfrentamento da Violência Sexual Contra Crianças e Adolescentes, e requer das instituições e da sociedade uma mudança de paradigma, em relação a punir versus tratar. A intervenção se passa em uma unidade pública de saúde, a equipe é formada por um psicólogo, duas psicólogas, uma assistente social e um psiquiatra. Descreve-se uma experiência grupal ocorrida em 2014, que contou com dezessete participantes, e idades entre 27 e 71 anos. O fluxo do atendimento inclui: entrevista individual inicial, entrevista familiar, entrevista psiquiátrica, e as sessões grupais, em número de nove, com duração de duas horas cada. Os temas presentes nas sessões são: avaliação e incremento da autoestima; responsabilização pelo sofrimento perpetrado a outrem; enfrentamento da ação violenta; reflexão sobre a criação de vínculos e intimidade com outras pessoas; presença de fantasias sexuais envolvendo crianças e /ou adolescentes; recuperação do processo de comportamentos que se sucedem antes da ofensa sexual; construção de estratégias para evitar novas situações de violência sexual e elaboração de projeto de futuro de vida. O limite do texto está na ausência de outras experiências narradas em contexto brasileiro que possibilitasse discussão mais ampla. No entanto, busca-se a presença do escopo da interseção de diferentes saberes, como o Direito, a Psicologia, a Psiquiatria e o Serviço Social.Palavras-chave: abuso sexual, vitimização, crime, agressões sexuais.The text has the goal to present a report of the group psychosocial intervention experience with adults responsible for intra-familiar sexual violence against children and adolescents. The treatment to the person who commits sexual violence is provided by the National Plan of Coping with the Sexual Violence against Children and Adolescents (Plano Nacional de Enfrentamento da Violência Sexual Contra Crianças e Adolescentes), and requires a change of paradigm from the institutions and society, regarding punishment versus treatment. The intervention takes place in a public health unity; a male psychologist, two female psychologists, a social assistant and a psychiatry form the team. A group experience that took place in 2014 is described, which included seventeen participants between the ages of 27 and 71. The treatment flow includes: an initial individual interview, a family interview, a psychiatric interview and nine group sessions, with the duration of two hours each. The themes presented in the sessions are: evaluation and increase of self-esteem; accountability for the suffering perpetrated to others; coping with the violent act; reflection about bonding and intimacy with others; the presence of sexual fantasies involving children and/or adolescents; recovery of the behavioral processes that happen before the sexual assault; strategy construction to avoid new sexual violence situations, and the elaboration of a future life project. The limit of the text is in the absence of other experiences narrated in a Brazilian context, which would make a wider discussion possible. Nevertheless, the presence of different areas scope, such as Law, Psychology, Psychiatry and Social Service is eagerly searched.Keywords: sexual abuse, vitimization, crime, sex offenses

The James Webb Space Telescope Mission

Twenty-six years ago a small committee report, building on earlier studies, expounded a compelling and poetic vision for the future of astronomy, calling for an infrared-optimized space telescope with an aperture of at least $4m$. With the support of their governments in the US, Europe, and Canada, 20,000 people realized that vision as the $6.5m$ James Webb Space Telescope. A generation of astronomers will celebrate their accomplishments for the life of the mission, potentially as long as 20 years, and beyond. This report and the scientific discoveries that follow are extended thank-you notes to the 20,000 team members. The telescope is working perfectly, with much better image quality than expected. In this and accompanying papers, we give a brief history, describe the observatory, outline its objectives and current observing program, and discuss the inventions and people who made it possible. “Não pode ser abuso... eu sou a mãe”: ofensa sexual materna

This paper presents the life history of a mother sex offender who has committed sexual abuse against her two daughters. The phenomenon of sexual abuse committed by a mother is shown without systematized knowledge in Brazil. This text intends to begin the debate on this issue in the country offering greater visibility to the understanding of this phenomenon and explaining the dynamic of sexual violence. It is a qualitative research, an instrumental case study of documentary, carried out in a public health care institution. The data collected are related to the information contained in the health record of the person who committed sexual violence: general and socioeconomic data, family, violence committed, victims, life history. The results were grouped into axes, corroborating literature: victimization of the offender in her childhood and adolescence; sexual victimization of her daughters; quality of affective bonds; interaction violence; drug/alcohol use, and domestic violence. These axes are in accordance to international studies, identifying the victimization and the suffering of the woman who committed sexual violence, and prioritizing case study. It is necessary that the professionals have specific qualification in order to identify the occurrence of sexual committed by women and by mothers, since there are many myths and prejudices that pre-vents the identification of the occurrence of such violence.O texto apresenta o histórico de uma mãe que cometeu violência sexual contra suas duas filhas. A violência sexual cometida pela mulher ou mãe mostra-se sem conhecimento sistematizado no Brasil. Este texto pretende contribuir para iniciar o debate desta questão no país, oferecendo maior visibilidade para a compreensão deste fenômeno, e trazendo à luz a dinâmica da violência sexual. Trata-se de pesquisa qualitativa, um estudo de caso instrumental de cunho documental, realizada em uma instituição de atendimento em saúde pública. As informações foram obtidas por consulta ao prontuário da pessoa que cometeu a violência sexual: dados gerais e socioeconômicos, a família, a violência cometida, as vítimas, a história de vida. Os resultados foram agrupados em eixos, corroborando literatura: vitimização da ofensora na infância e adolescência; vitimização sexual das filhas; qualidade dos vínculos afetivos; violência interacional; uso de drogas /álcool, e violência conjugal. A Internet como instrumento de incentivo às atividades físicas e à melhoria da qualidade vida dos idosos

A partir de uma pesquisa realizada, partindo de elementos quantitativos e, principalmente, de um enfoque qualitativo, discute-se o papel que a internet, como fonte de informação, pode ter na vida das pessoas idosas, incentivando-as à prática dos exercícios físicos, à alimentação saudável e à comunicação com seus amigos e familiares. Acredita-se que os dados encontrados apontam para um potencial recurso de educação a distância para os idosos, à medida que vence os preconceitos de que o uso das tecnologias não deveria contemplar as pessoas idosas. Os idosos pesquisados sentem-se realizados com a sua qualidade de vida. Alé do mais, se sentem motivados em relação à utilização da internet como um instrumento a mais no processo de melhoria da qualidade de vida
