    In this study, optimization of durability properties of the concretes was performed by using Taguchi method and Anova analysis. The durability performance of the concretes was evaluated using measurements of rapid chloride ion permeability, freezing-thawing resistance and sorptivity tests. The degree of freezing-thawing resistance was assessed the change of weight, ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV) and flexural strength after 300 cycles. The use of fly ash improved the rapid chloride ion permeability and sorptivity of concrete. The best resistance to chloride ion permeability was obtained from a combination of type of class C fly ash content of 102 kg/m(3) with PC content of 332 kg/m(3). There was a remarkable reduction in the UPV after the specimens are subjected to freezing-thawing cycles. The amounts of flexural strength loss have been measured in the range of 6.70 - 29.83%. The use of type of class C fly ash positively affected freezing-thawing resistance of concrete. The Anova analysis indicated that the cement dosage has an utmost importance on the sorptivity level, chloride ion permeability and ultrasonic pulse velocity loss.     In this research, we all gonna discuss numerous advantages of the L.acidophilus bacteria that is fermented with Asidophiluslu Milk on nutrition and on human health. To make it more buyable for customers, it has been made three separete types to fruit fragrances and the items that has added sugar to. As a fuit fragrance, strawberry, lemon and cherry is used. At the beginning we separeted 14 litres of milk to four equal 3.5 ml and added on each of 3.5 ml milk we added cherry and color materials, strawberry and color materials, and 5 ml of lemon fragnance and 15 ml of color materials. There items 1st, 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th day of chemical, microbiological storage conditions are tested. At the end of the 28th day, the chemical, microbiological specifications of Asidophiluslu Milk has not been changed. According to these results, we believe that the product will have good reputation on food industry and we are happy to present this item to food industry also.Bu araştırmada, insanların sağlığına ve beslenmesine yararlı etkileri olan ve etkisi uzun süreden beri bilinen bağırsak kökenli L.acidophilus bakterisi ile fermente edilen Asidofiluslu Sütlerin çeşitli özellikleri değerlendirilmiştir. Tüketici beğenisini arttırmak amacıyla çeşitli meyve aromaları ve şeker ilave edilen ürünler 3 tekerrür halinde üretilmiştir. Meyve aroması olarak çilek, vişne ve limon kullanılmıştır. Bu aromalar ve renk maddeleri toplamda 14 litre olan ve 3,5 lt olarak dört’ e ayırdığımız süte 3,5 ml çilek aroması ve renk maddesi , 3,5 ml vişne aroması ve renk maddesi ve 5 ml limon aroması ve 15 mil renk maddesi ayrı ayrı olarak katılmıştır. 28 günlük depolama süresinin 1., 7., 14., 21. ve 28. günlerinde ürünlerin kimyasal, mikrobiyolojik ve duyusal özellikleri incelenmiş ve elde edilen sonuçlar değerlendirilmiştir. 28 günlük depolama süresince tüm özelliklerini koruyan değişik aroma maddeleri katılarak üretilen Asidofiluslu Sütlerin özellikleri hakkında yapılan değerlendirmede kimyasal, mikrobiyolojik ve duyusal açıdan olumlu özelliklere sahip olduğu görülmektedir. Elde edilen sonuçlar neticesinde hem gıda sanayii için hem de piyasaya sağlıklı bir ürün kazandırılması için araştırmamızın faydalı bilgiler içerdiğine inanmaktayız

    Li iyon piller günümüzde artan bir ilgi ile taşınabilir elektronik cihazlar için yeniden şarj olabilir piller olarak ana güç kaynağı olmaya başlamışlardır. Ancak ticari pillerde anot malzemesi olarak kullanılan grafitin yeterli performans sergileyememesinden dolayı alternatif arayışları devam etmektedir. Bu nedenle alaşım matrisli kompozit anotların kullanımına yönelik çalışmalar yapılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada da Sn-Cu matrisli KNT takviyeli kompozit anotlar pulse elektro biriktirme ile üretilmiş olup, akım yoğunluğunun etkisi incelenmiştir. Sn-Cu/KNT kompozitleri pirofosfat banyosunda bakır altlık üzerine pulse elektrokompozit kaplama tekniği ile hazırlanmıştır. Üretilen kompozit malzemeler CR2016 buton pilinde anot olarak kullanılarak elektrokimyasal olarak test edildi. Anot malzemelerinin fiziksel ve elektrokimyasal özellikleri çeşitli analiz teknikleri kullanılarak araştırıldı. Sonuçlara göre, kesikli akım (PC) elektrokompozit kaplamada en iyi çevrim performansını 80 mAcm-2 akım yoğunluğu ile üretilen Sn-Cu/KNT kompozit anot göstermiştirLi ion batteries have started to become the main power source as batteries that can be recharged for portable electronic devices with an increasing interest nowadays. However, since the graphite used as an anode material in commercial batteries cannot exhibit sufficient performance, alternate quests continue. For this reason, studies are being made for the use of alloyed matrix composite anodes. In this study, composite anode with Sn-Cu matrix is fabricated by pulse electrodeposition and the effect of current density is investigated. Sn-Cu /CNT composites were prepared by electroplating on a copper substrate in a pyrophosphate bath. Composite materials produced were electrochemically tested as anode in CR2016 button cell. The physical and electrochemical properties of anodic materials were investigated using various analysis techniques. According to the results, the Sn-Cu /CNT composite anode showed the best cycle performance in the pulse current (PC) electrocomposite coating with a current density of 80 mAcm-2

    Estimation of compressive strength of self compacting concrete containing polypropylene fiber and mineral additives exposed to high temperature using artificial neural network

    In this study, an artificial neural network model for compressive strength of self-compacting concretes (SCCs) containing mineral additives and polypropylene (PP) fiber exposed to elevated temperature were devised. Portland cement (PC) was replaced with mineral additives such as fly ash (FA), granulated blast furnace slag (GBFS), zeolite (Z), limestone powder (LP), basalt powder (BP) and marble powder (MP) in various proportioning rates with and without PP fibers. SCC mixtures were prepared with water to powder ratio of 0.33 and polypropylene fibers content was 2 kg/m(3) for the mixtures containing polypropylene fibers. Specimens were heated up to elevated temperatures (200, 400, 600 and 800 degrees C) at the age of 56 days. Then, tests were conducted to determine loss in compressive strength. The results showed that a severe strength loss was observed for all of the concretes after exposure to 600 degrees C, particularly the concretes containing polypropylene fibers though they reduce and eliminate the risk of the explosive spalling. Furthermore, based on the experimental results, an artificial neural network (ANN) model-based explicit formulation was proposed to predict the loss in compressive strength of SCC which is expressed in terms of amount of cement, amount of mineral additives, amount of aggregates, heating degree and with or without PP fibers. Besides, it was found that the empirical model developed by using ANN seemed to have a high prediction capability of the loss in compressive strength of self compacting concrete (SCC) mixtures after being exposed to elevated temperature.
