A pre-conference pedological tour of the soils of Israel, including the major soil associations in the Mediterranean, semi arid and desert regions will tame piace on Satruday, 28, August, 1971, PTO Organizing Committee c/o Dr. S. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 1,2, and 3 September, 1971, a three-day post-congress trip, which will highlight examples of Israelis land types, agricultural and irrigation development projects and last but not least - major sites of historical interest in the Holy Land.
