    Semilleros de investigación para el desarrollo de competencias investigativas en estudiantes de educación básica regular

    The objective of this study was to analyze the effect of the implementation of a program called Semilleros de Investigación in the development of investigative skills of Secondary students at "Daniel Becerra Ocampo" school in the city of Moquegua, Peru. It is assumed that there is a positive effect. in investigative Powers and for this, the study was conceived within the framework of the quantitative approach, with correlational research typification, and use of a quasi-experimental design with two groups. We worked with a sample of 60 students, of which 30 correspond to the experimental group and 30 to the control group. A questionnaire was applied to them that addresses the investigative competencies variable throughout 40 items, validated by expert judgment and reliability greater than 0.8 measured with the Cronbach alpha coefficient. In conclusion, it was found that the implementation of a program called Semilleros de Investigación has a positive effect on the development of the investigative competences of the Secondary students at "Daniel Becerra Ocampo" school in the city of Moquegua, Peru.Este estudio se propuso con el objetivo de analizar el efecto de la implementación de un programa denominado Semilleros de investigación en el desarrollo de las competencias investigativas de los estudiantes de Secundaria de la Institución Educativa “Daniel Becerra Ocampo” de la ciudad de Moquegua, Perú. Se parte del supuesto que se produce un efecto positivo en el desarrollo de las competencias investigativas y para ello se concibió el estudio en el marco del enfoque cuantitativo, con tipificación de investigación correlacional, y uso de un diseño cuasiexperimental con dos grupos. Se trabajó con una muestra de 60 estudiantes, de los cuales 30 corresponden al grupo experimental y 30 al grupo control. A ellos se les aplicó un cuestionario que aborda la variable competencias investigativas a lo largo de 40 ítems, validado por juicio de expertos y confiabilidad superior a 0,8 medido con el coeficiente alfa Cronbach. Como conclusión se encontró que la implementación de un programa denominado Semilleros de investigación tiene un efecto positivo en el desarrollo de las competencias investigativas de los estudiantes de Secundaria de la Institución Educativa “Daniel Becerra Ocampo” de la ciudad de Moquegua, Perú

    The objective of this study entitled Physical performance and kineanthropometric characteristics has allowed us to analyze the height and weight and physical performance of students of Primary and Secondary Education of the UGE06, We were able to analyze the levels of physical and technical motor performance, according to the female and male gender, the ages of elementary school from 6 to 12 years old, and high school from 12 to 16 years old with the tests in the JRV2000A and JRV2000B. The central hypothesis was to determine if physical performance is homogeneous in students in relation to age and gender.     Percepción sobre la enseñanza presencial y el aprendizaje virtual en pre y pospandemia

    The objective of this study entitled "Perception on Face-to-face Teaching and Virtual Learning of the students of the 2016-2018 class of the Physical Education specialty of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Physical Culture." It has allowed us to make a comparative study between the opinion of the perception on these two variables. We were able to analyze the perception about virtual teaching and then about virtual learning in a group of 185 students from the promotions of physical education students: 2016, 2027 and 2018 of which the highest percentage is male students whose average age is among the 19 and 25 years old. The study was carried out through the application of a questionnaire called SURVEY JRV 21 with a total of 30 items. Our central hypothesis was to determine the level of preference between face-to-face teaching versus virtual learning in the perception of the students in question, the answer was overwhelming: the students prefer the pedagogical process which should be based on face-to-face teaching with a significant difference in the means and the standard deviation between these two types of didactic work, this is demonstrated in the three groups of our sample. Therefore, the working hypothesis is accepted where it is stated that there are significant differences. In values of 45 points of face-to-face teaching compared to 39 of virtual learning. Likewise, the opinion on face-to-face teaching is more homogeneous than in virtual learning, this demonstrated in the level of standard deviation of the two groups, in values of 4.99 for face-to-face teaching compared to 6.99 for virtual learningEl objetivo del presente estudio titulado Percepción sobre la Enseñanza Presencial y el Aprendizaje Virtual en pre y pospandemia Nos ha permitido hacer un estudio comparativo entre la opinión de la percepción sobre estas dos variables. Logramos analizar la percepción sobre la enseñanza virtual y luego sobre el aprendizaje virtual en un grupo de 185 estudiantes de las promociones de estudiantes de educación física: 2016, 2027y 2018 de los cuales el mayor porcentaje de los estudiantes eran varones cuya edad promedio es entre los 19 y 25 años. el estudio se concretizo mediante aplicación de un cuestionario denominado ENCUESTA JRV 21 con un total de 30 ítems.  Nuestra hipótesis central fue determinar el nivel de pr4eferenvia entre la enseñanza presencial frente al aprendizaje virtual en la percepción de los estudiantes en mención, la respuesta fue contundente los estudiantes prefieren el proceso pedagógico el cual debería estar basado en la enseñza presencial con una diferencia significativa en las medias y en la desviación estándar entre estos dos tipos de trabajo didáctico., esto se demuestra en los tres grupos de nuestra muestra. Por lo tanto, se acepta la hipótesis de trabajo donde se señala que si existe diferencias significativas.     Multi-messenger observations of a binary neutron star merger

    On 2017 August 17 a binary neutron star coalescence candidate (later designated GW170817) with merger time 12:41:04 UTC was observed through gravitational waves by the Advanced LIGO and Advanced Virgo detectors. The Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor independently detected a gamma-ray burst (GRB 170817A) with a time delay of ~1.7 s with respect to the merger time. From the gravitational-wave signal, the source was initially localized to a sky region of 31 deg2 at a luminosity distance of 40+8-8 Mpc and with component masses consistent with neutron stars. The component masses were later measured to be in the range 0.86 to 2.26 Mo. An extensive observing campaign was launched across the electromagnetic spectrum leading to the discovery of a bright optical transient (SSS17a, now with the IAU identification of AT 2017gfo) in NGC 4993 (at ~40 Mpc) less than 11 hours after the merger by the One- Meter, Two Hemisphere (1M2H) team using the 1 m Swope Telescope. The optical transient was independently detected by multiple teams within an hour. Subsequent observations targeted the object and its environment. Early ultraviolet observations revealed a blue transient that faded within 48 hours. Optical and infrared observations showed a redward evolution over ~10 days. Following early non-detections, X-ray and radio emission were discovered at the transient’s position ~9 and ~16 days, respectively, after the merger. Both the X-ray and radio emission likely arise from a physical process that is distinct from the one that generates the UV/optical/near-infrared emission. No ultra-high-energy gamma-rays and no neutrino candidates consistent with the source were found in follow-up searches. These observations support the hypothesis that GW170817 was produced by the merger of two neutron stars in NGC4993 followed by a short gamma-ray burst (GRB 170817A) and a kilonova/macronova powered by the radioactive decay of r-process nuclei synthesized in the ejecta

    Among the tests that help health professionals and allow the application of computer systems is the Computed Tomography (CT). This article presents the development of a software prototype that can automatically segment the lungs in computed tomography images of the chest. The validation process applied the method on 569 images and showed a success rate of 94,38%. For the cases of error in the process, their causes are shown and enhancements to the prototype are discussed.Dentre os exames que auxiliam profissionais da saúde e permitem a aplicação de sistemas computacionais destaca-se a Tomografia Computadorizada (TC). Este artigo apresenta as técnicas utilizadas para o desenvolvimento de um protótipo capaz de segmentar automaticamente os pulmões em imagens de TC do tórax. A validação realizada sobre 569 imagens de fatias de exames apresentou como resultado uma taxa de acerto de 94,38%. Para os casos de falha, são apresentados os motivos, buscando novas técnicas para melhorias no sistema
