(Eng) Plato offers two criticisms of imitative poetry in the Republic. In the first one, developed in books II and III, Plato seems to criticize poetry softly, banning only one part of imitative poetry. The second criticism, developed in book x , seems to establish a more drastic critique to imitative poetry that precludes the possibility of any kind of imitative poetry in the polis. Many different interpretations have been proposed in order to account for this apparent clash. I will defend Tate’s classical interpretation, according to which no clash exists because Plato distinguishes two kinds of imitations, and he remains consistent in preserving one and banishing the other.(Spa) Platón realiza dos críticas a la poesía imitativa en la República. En la primera, establecida en los libros II y III, Platón parece criticar suavemente la poesía prohibiendo solamente una parte de la poesía imitativa. La segunda crítica, desarrollada en el libro X, parece establecer una crítica más drástica a la poesía imitativa que elimina la posibilidad de cualquier tipo de poesía imitativa en la polis. Urban expansion and changes in land use in the city of Curuzú Cuatiá, Corrientes, Argentina, between the years 1990 and 2016

Los estudios geográficos han planteado desde siempre la necesidad de observar y describir el territorio que habitamos, así como indagar acerca de los cambios y las relaciones entre sus componentes. El territorio es objeto de intervención y planificación permanente y las administraciones nacionales, provinciales, municipales, locales, conviven con toma de decisiones necesarias para encaminarse hacia un territorio sustentable y eficaz. En este contexto, disponer de información territorial actualizada y accesible es primordial, es un recurso que hace posible la planificación y la participación de actores sociales, políticos, económicos y académicos. El objetivo de esta contribución es generar evidencia, información y conocimiento sobre las características de la expansión urbana de la ciudad de Curuzú Cuatiá, provincia de Corrientes, para lo cual se determinaron y analizaron los cambios en los usos del suelo entre 1990 y 2016. Como fuente de datos se utilizaron imágenes del satélite Landsat 5 -sensor TM- y Landsat 8 -sensor OLI- para cada uno de estos momentos, las que se clasificaron en cinco categorías. Los resultados muestran particularidades de la expansión urbana reciente, el creciente consumo de suelo urbano, los cambios y la variabilidad en el uso del suelo y la consolidación de una ciudad de bajas densidades.Geographical studies have always raised the need to observe and describe the territory we inhabit as well as to inquire about the changes and relationships between its components. The territory is the object of permanent intervention and planning and the, national, provincial, municipal, local administrations coexist with decision-making necessary to move towards a sustainable and effective territory. In this context, having updated and accessible territorial information is paramount since it enables the planning and participation of social, political, economic and academic actors. The aim of this contribution is to generate evidence, information and knowledge about the characteristics of the urban expansion of the city of Curuzú Cuatiá, province of Corrientes, for which the changes in land use were determined and analysed between 1990 and 2016. As a data source, images from the Landsat 5 satellite - sensor TM - and Landsat 8 - sensor OLI - were used for each of these moments, which were classified into five categories. La imagen y narrativa como herramientas para el abordaje psicosocial en escenarios de violencia. Ciudad de Bogotá D.C.

El abordaje de contextos desde los enfoques narrativos se refiere a la manera en que se analizan, comprenden y abordan situaciones o problemáticas a través de la construcción y exploración de narrativas. Este enfoque parte del concepto de que las personas otorgan significado a sus vivencias a través de la creación de historias o narrativas que les permiten organizar, interpretar y comunicar sus vivencias. La exploración de situaciones a través de perspectivas narrativas se tiene en cuenta, historias personales, construcción social de la realidad, contextualización de problemas, construcción de problemas, entre otros. Este implica reconocer el poder de las historias personales en la construcción de la realidad y en la manera en que las personas enfrentan los desafíos. Este enfoque proporciona herramientas para explorar, comprender y cambiar narrativas, promoviendo así el crecimiento y el cambio personal. El desarrollo de este trabajo se inicia mediante la examinación de narrativas de historias que se retoman, a través de la formulación de preguntas circulares, reflexivas y estratégicas, que permitan inferir en el pensamiento del individuo. Además, se presenta el análisis y presentación del caso de la Masacre en el corregimiento El Salado, un evento traumático que dejó secuelas físicas, psicológicas y sociales en la cotidianidad de esta comunidad. Es por es, que se plantean estrategias de acción psicosocial con el fin de que la comunidad mediante la narrativa se reconozca y modifique la forma en que se auto percibe. Para finalizar, se presenta el desarrollo del informe reflexivo y analítico hasta culminar con la presentación desarrollada en el paso 3 del curso, “magazine”; donde es presentada cada una de las problemáticas sociales que afectan a la comunidad en las localidades de Fontibón, Bosa, Rafael Uribe Uribe y Suba de la ciudad de Bogotá.The approach to contexts from narrative perspectives refers to the way situations or issues are analyzed, understood, and addressed through the construction and exploration of narratives. Activation of Type 1 Cannabinoid Receptor (CB1R) promotes neurogenesis in murine subventricular zone cell cultures

The endocannabinoid system has been implicated in the modulation of adult neurogenesis. Here, we describe the effect of type 1 cannabinoid receptor (CB1R) activation on self-renewal, proliferation and neuronal differentiation in mouse neonatal subventricular zone (SVZ) stem/progenitor cell cultures. Expression of CB1R was detected in SVZ-derived immature cells (Nestin-positive), neurons and astrocytes. Stimulation of the CB1R by (R)-(+)-Methanandamide (R-m-AEA) increased self-renewal of SVZ cells, as assessed by counting the number of secondary neurospheres and the number of Sox2+/+ cell pairs, an effect blocked by Notch pathway inhibition. Moreover, R-m-AEA treatment for 48 h, increased proliferation as assessed by BrdU incorporation assay, an effect mediated by activation of MAPK-ERK and AKT pathways. Surprisingly, stimulation of CB1R by R-m-AEA also promoted neuronal differentiation (without affecting glial differentiation), at 7 days, as shown by counting the number of NeuN-positive neurons in the cultures. Moreover, by monitoring intracellular calcium concentrations ([Ca2+](i)) in single cells following KCl and histamine stimuli, a method that allows the functional evaluation of neuronal differentiation, we observed an increase in neuronal-like cells. This proneurogenic effect was blocked when SVZ cells were co-incubated with R-m-AEA and the CB1R antagonist AM 251, for 7 days, thus indicating that this effect involves CB1R activation. In accordance with an effect on neuronal differentiation and maturation, R-m-AEA also increased neurite growth, as evaluated by quantifying and measuring the number of MAP2-positive processes. Tecnologías ganaderas en rodeos de cría del este del Chaco, Argentina

Es cada vez mayor el interés por mejorar los parámetros productivos de la ganadería bovina, para lo que resulta imprescindible identificar los problemas que dificultan la adopción de las tecnologías que permiten incrementar su productividad. Esta publicación contiene la información relevada, sistematizada y analizada proveniente de encuestas realizadas a productores en el área de influencia de la EEA Colonia Benítez de INTA, ubicada en el este de la provincia del Chaco. El relevamiento se realizó de forma simultánea en las Agencias de Extensión Rural de Las Palmas, Basail, Makallé y en la Oficina de Colonia Benítez con la participación de distintos estratos de productores. Se evaluaron tecnologías relacionadas al manejo del rodeo, reproducción, sanidad, nutrición, bienestar animal, así como la gestión integral de la empresa ganadera. Los resultados logrados se presentan de manera ordenada definiendo las tecnologías consultadas, los valores obtenidos en cada estrato de productores, junto a relatos breves en primera persona del “conocimiento y uso” de las tecnologías analizadas. Juxtaposing BTE and ATE – on the role of the European insurance industry in funding civil litigation

One of the ways in which legal services are financed, and indeed shaped, is through private insurance arrangement. Two contrasting types of legal expenses insurance contracts (LEI) seem to dominate in Europe: before the event (BTE) and after the event (ATE) legal expenses insurance. Notwithstanding institutional differences between different legal systems, BTE and ATE insurance arrangements may be instrumental if government policy is geared towards strengthening a market-oriented system of financing access to justice for individuals and business. At the same time, emphasizing the role of a private industry as a keeper of the gates to justice raises issues of accountability and transparency, not readily reconcilable with demands of competition. Moreover, multiple actors (clients, lawyers, courts, insurers) are involved, causing behavioural dynamics which are not easily predicted or influenced. Against this background, this paper looks into BTE and ATE arrangements by analysing the particularities of BTE and ATE arrangements currently available in some European jurisdictions and by painting a picture of their respective markets and legal contexts. This allows for some reflection on the performance of BTE and ATE providers as both financiers and keepers. Two issues emerge from the analysis that are worthy of some further reflection. Firstly, there is the problematic long-term sustainability of some ATE products. Secondly, the challenges faced by policymakers that would like to nudge consumers into voluntarily taking out BTE LEI

Search for stop and higgsino production using diphoton Higgs boson decays

Results are presented of a search for a "natural" supersymmetry scenario with gauge mediated symmetry breaking. It is assumed that only the supersymmetric partners of the top-quark (stop) and the Higgs boson (higgsino) are accessible. Events are examined in which there are two photons forming a Higgs boson candidate, and at least two b-quark jets. In 19.7 inverse femtobarns of proton-proton collision data at sqrt(s) = 8 TeV, recorded in the CMS experiment, no evidence of a signal is found and lower limits at the 95% confidence level are set, excluding the stop mass below 360 to 410 GeV, depending on the higgsino mass

Study of the B−→Λc+Λˉc−K−B^{-} \to \Lambda_{c}^{+} \bar{\Lambda}_{c}^{-} K^{-} decay

The decay $B^{-} \to \Lambda_{c}^{+} \bar{\Lambda}_{c}^{-} K^{-}$ is studied in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5 $\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ collected by the LHCb experiment. In the $\Lambda_{c}^+ K^{-}$ system, the $\Xi_{c}(2930)^{0}$ state observed at the BaBar and Belle experiments is resolved into two narrower states, $\Xi_{c}(2923)^{0}$ and $\Xi_{c}(2939)^{0}$, whose masses and widths are measured to be $$m(\Xi_{c}(2923)^{0}) = 2924.5 \pm 0.4 \pm 1.1 \,\mathrm{MeV}, \\ m(\Xi_{c}(2939)^{0}) = 2938.5 \pm 0.9 \pm 2.3 \,\mathrm{MeV}, \\ \Gamma(\Xi_{c}(2923)^{0}) = \phantom{000}4.8 \pm 0.9 \pm 1.5 \,\mathrm{MeV},\\ \Gamma(\Xi_{c}(2939)^{0}) = \phantom{00}11.0 \pm 1.9 \pm 7.5 \,\mathrm{MeV},$$ where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. The results are consistent with a previous LHCb measurement using a prompt $\Lambda_{c}^{+} K^{-}$ sample. Evidence of a new $\Xi_{c}(2880)^{0}$ state is found with a local significance of $3.8\,\sigma$, whose mass and width are measured to be $2881.8 \pm 3.1 \pm 8.5\,\mathrm{MeV}$ and $12.4 \pm 5.3 \pm 5.8 \,\mathrm{MeV}$, respectively. In addition, evidence of a new decay mode $\Xi_{c}(2790)^{0} \to \Lambda_{c}^{+} K^{-}$ is found with a significance of $3.7\,\sigma$. The relative branching fraction of $B^{-} \to \Lambda_{c}^{+} \bar{\Lambda}_{c}^{-} K^{-}$ with respect to the $B^{-} \to D^{+} D^{-} K^{-}$ decay is measured to be $2.36 \pm 0.11 \pm 0.22 \pm 0.25$, where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic and the third originates from the branching fractions of charm hadron decays.Comment: All figures and tables, along with any supplementary material and additional information, are available at https://cern.ch/lhcbproject/Publications/p/LHCb-PAPER-2022-028.html (LHCb public pages
