The concept of an Ephemerizer system has been introduced in earlier works as a mechanism to ensure that a file deleted from the persistent storage remains unrecoverable. The principle involved storing the data in an encrypted form in the user’s machine and the key to decrypt the data in a physically separate machine. However the schemes proposed so far do not provide support for fine-grained user settings on the lifetime of the data nor support any mechanism to check the integrity of the system that is using the secret data. In addition we report the presence of a vulnerability in one version of the proposed scheme that can be exploited by an attacker to nullify the ephemeral nature of the keys. We propose and discuss in detail an alternate Identity Based cryptosystem powered scheme that overcomes the identified limitations of the original system
NOVASOME: A PIONEERING ADVANCEMENTIN VESICULAR DRUG DELIVERY
Pharmaceutical research has developed various new types of innovative forms of drug delivery. Advancement in current drug delivery methods has led to the development of numerous new revolutionary technologies that support safe and efficient formulations over existing ones. Novasome technology is one of the latest liposome developments that have overcome many of the liposomal drug delivery system-related problems. This provides a seven bilayer membrane which is capable of absorbing water-soluble as well as insoluble drugs. The improved efficiency of entrapping drugs with good encapsulation features enables better frequency of dosing, which can be accomplished through the high shear system. These find their applications in diverse fields such as cosmetics, chemicals, personal care, food, pharmacy, and agrochemicals. Several products have already been launched into the market using this technology with an additional launch plan. Due to its depth of penetration, novasomes have been one of the most popular derma cosmetics. It is being studied continuously to obtain improved release characteristics. The prospect of drug delivery and targeting using novasomes is an important area of research and development. This review pinpoints the various aspect of the novasome and will be a milestone for the researchers in the area of drug delivery
Diluted planar ferromagnets: nonlinear excitations on a non-simply connected manifold
We study the behavior of magnetic vortices on a two-dimensional support
manifold being not simply connected. It is done by considering the continuum
approach of the XY-model on a plane with two disks removed from it. We argue
that an effective attractive interaction between the two disks may exist due to
the presence of a vortex. The results can be applied to diluted planar
ferromagnets with easy-plane anisotropy, where the disks can be seen as
nonmagnetic impurities. Simulations are also used to test the predictions of

ABJM models in N=3 harmonic superspace
We construct the classical action of the Aharony-Bergman-Jafferis-Maldacena
(ABJM) model in the N=3, d=3 harmonic superspace. In such a formulation three
out of six supersymmetries are realized off shell while the other three mix the
superfields and close on shell. The superfield action involves two
hypermultiplet superfields in the bifundamental representation of the gauge
group and two Chern-Simons gauge superfields corresponding to the left and
right gauge groups. The N=3 superconformal invariance allows only for a minimal
gauge interaction of the hypermultiplets. Amazingly, the correct sextic scalar
potential of ABJM emerges after the elimination of auxiliary fields. Besides
the original U(N)xU(N) ABJM model, we also construct N=3 superfield
formulations of some generalizations. For the SU(2)xSU(2) case we give a simple

Detector Description and Performance for the First Coincidence Observations between LIGO and GEO
For 17 days in August and September 2002, the LIGO and GEO interferometer
gravitational wave detectors were operated in coincidence to produce their
first data for scientific analysis. Although the detectors were still far from
their design sensitivity levels, the data can be used to place better upper
limits on the flux of gravitational waves incident on the earth than previous
direct measurements. This paper describes the instruments and the data in some

Non-bee insects are important contributors to global crop pollination
Wild andmanaged bees arewell documented as effective pollinators of global crops of economic importance. However, the contributions by pollinators other than bees have been little explored despite their potential to contribute to crop production and stability in the face of environmental change. Non-bee pollinators include flies, beetles, moths, butterflies, wasps, ants, birds, and bats, among others. Here we focus on non-bee insects and synthesize 39 field studies from five continents that directly measured the crop pollination services provided by non-bees, honey bees, and other bees to compare the relative contributions of these taxa. Non-bees performed 25-50% of the total number of flower visits. Although non-bees were less effective pollinators than bees per flower visit, they made more visits; thus these two factors compensated for each other, resulting in pollination services rendered by non-bees that were similar to those provided by bees. In the subset of studies that measured fruit set, fruit set increased with non-bee insect visits independently of bee visitation rates, indicating that non-bee insects provide a unique benefit that is not provided by bees. We also show that non-bee insects are not as reliant as bees on the presence of remnant natural or seminatural habitat in the surrounding landscape. These results strongly suggest that non-bee insect pollinators play a significant role in global crop production and respond differently than bees to landscape structure, probably making their crop pollination services more robust to changes in land use. Robustness margins for global asymptotic stability in indirect field-oriented control of induction motors
Strategic inventories under limited commitment
In a dynamic storable good market where demand changes over time, we investigate the producer's strategic incentives to hold inventories in response to the possibility of buyer stockpiling. The literature on storable goods has demonstrated that buyer stockpiling in anticipation of higher future prices harms the producer's profitability, particularly when the producer cannot commit to future prices. We show that the producer's inventories act as a strategic device to mitigate the loss from the lack of commitment. Our results provide a rationale for the producer's inventory behavior that sheds new light on the well-documented empirical evidence about inventories
Combination of searches for Higgs boson pairs in pp collisions at \sqrts = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector
This letter presents a combination of searches for Higgs boson pair production using up to 36.1 fb(-1) of proton-proton collision data at a centre-of-mass energy root s = 13 TeV recorded with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The combination is performed using six analyses searching for Higgs boson pairs decaying into the b (b) over barb (b) over bar, b (b) over barW(+)W(-), b (b) over bar tau(+)tau(-), W+W-W+W-, b (b) over bar gamma gamma and W+W-gamma gamma final states. Results are presented for non-resonant and resonant Higgs boson pair production modes. No statistically significant excess in data above the Standard Model predictions is found. The combined observed (expected) limit at 95% confidence level on the non-resonant Higgs boson pair production cross-section is 6.9 (10) times the predicted Standard Model cross-section. Limits are also set on the ratio (kappa(lambda)) of the Higgs boson self-coupling to its Standard Model value. This ratio is constrained at 95% confidence level in observation (expectation) to -5.0 < kappa(lambda) < 12.0 (-5.8 < kappa(lambda) < 12.0). In addition, limits are set on the production of narrow scalar resonances and spin-2 Kaluza-Klein Randall-Sundrum gravitons. Exclusion regions are also provided in the parameter space of the habemus Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model and the Electroweak Singlet Model. Searches for lepton-flavour-violating decays of the Higgs boson in TeV collisions with the ATLAS detector
This Letter presents direct searches for lepton flavour violation in Higgs boson decays, H → eτ and
H → μτ , performed with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The searches are based on a data sample
of proton–proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy √s = 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated
luminosity of 36.1 fb−1. No significant excess is observed above the expected background from Standard
Model processes. The observed (median expected) 95% confidence-level upper limits on the leptonflavour-violating branching ratios are 0.47% (0.34+0.13−0.10%) and 0.28% (0.37+0.14−0.10%) for H → eτ and H → μτ , respectively.publishedVersio
