    A sokarcú oxitocin: a reprodukciótól a türelemig

    No full text
The aim of this study is to provide an overview of what we know today about the production and function of oxytocin in human organism, based on summaries of studies on oxytocin. The current overall picture of oxytocin’s highly diverse functions is that oxytocin has a coordinating function in human development, acting as a catalyst in social interactions

Adrenalin. Inspiráló istenkép-variációk a teológián kívüli világból

Tis essay examines ideas of God outside of the ofcial theological discourse, which, however, are no less inspiring concerning God’s true nature as love and mercy. Over against theoretical concepts, these ideas comprise a wide set of propositional content, emotions, images, moods, etc. forming the basis of one’s personalised faith in God. I argue that such ideas are often overlooked by the discipline of theology, while their importance is crucial for an accurate understanding of our relationship with God. Terefore, I present three test-cases from the feld of literature, each of which communicates, in their own distinctive manner, a wealth of intuition concerning God’s merciful love: Charles Péguy’s God of solidarity, Aleksej Javlensky’s God of redeeming suffering, and Hans Rath’s ’imperfect’ God. Tey may be read as ofering much food for thought also for academic theology

The Christian Interpretation of the Concepts of Labour and Social Progress in the Works of Ottokár Prohászka

    No full text
The paper analyses the views of Ottokár Prohászka, the greatest Hungarian Catholic philosopher of the 20th century on the relationship between labour and social progress, as well as between labour and individual development. The work of Prohászka is seen as a synthesis of modern scientific findings and the Christian world view, which, at the same time, offered a thorough analysis and criticism of the social philosophy of Karl Marx. The author discusses Prohászka's ideas concerning the links between the objective tendencies of social development and the evangelical spirit, and his attempts to elaborate an early version of the theology of labour. Comparing citations, Prohászka's work is valued also for anticipating the ideas in the social encyclics of the popes written several decades later

Structural and electrical correlation in aluminum nitride thin films grown by plasma enhanced atomic layer deposition as interface insulating layers on silicon carbide (4H-SiC)

(0001) oriented aluminum nitride (AlN) thin films have been grown by plasma enhanced atomic layer deposition (PE-ALD) on silicon carbide (4H-SiC) substrates. During different PE-ALD processes, the ammonia (NH3) plasma pulsing time has been varied and its effect on the microstructure and on the orientation degree of the AlN layers has been monitored. Structural characterization by Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) showed that the crystalline structure of the deposited films was strongly dependent on the NH3-plasma pulsing, so that different polymorphic structures were observed. In particular, both processes resulted in wurtzite AlN structure for few nanometers at the interface with the 4H-SiC substrate, while upon increasing thickness a poly-crystalline wurtzite phase was obtained by short-pulse NH3-plasma, whereas longer plasma exposure resulted in a mixture of wurtzite and zincblende defective phases. Phase formation mechanism were discussed and electrical nanoscopic characterization by conductive atomic force microscopy showed a clear correlation between the different AlN crystalline phases and the insulating properties
