Enfoque terapéutico de algunas enfermedades del tiroides en Pediatría Therapeutic approach to some thyroid diseases in pediatrics

Las enfermedades del tiroides ocupan un lugar importante, por su frecuencia y variedad, entre las afecciones endocrinas del niño y el adolescente, y aunque puedan padecer las mismas enfermedades tiroideas del adulto, presentan afecciones específicas de la edad, cuyo diagnóstico y tratamiento adecuado puede prevenir los efectos devastadores e irreversibles que estas pueden producir. Se presenta, con interés de actualizar y establecer consenso, el enfoque terapéutico de algunas tiroidopatías de la infancia, en orden de importancia y frecuencia, como es el nódulo de tiroides, el bocio y el hipertiroidismo.<br>Thyroid diseases hold an important place because of their frequency and variety in the endocrine diseases affecting the child and the adolescent. Although both can suffer the same thyroid diseases as the adults, there are specific illnesses of the age, the diagnosis and treatment of which may prevent the devastating and irreversible effects that they can bring. For the purpose of updating information and reaching a consensus, this paper presented the therapeutic approach to some thyroid diseases of the childhood by order of importance and frequency, such as the thyroid nodule, the goiter and the hyperthyroidism

Influencia de las variables agroclimáticas en los procesos productivos agrícolas en la CPA "Asalto al Polvorín” en el municipio Puerto Padre

The research work was carried out in the CPA Assault Polvorín in the municipality of Puerto Padre in Las Tunas. The main objective was to evaluate the behavior of the climatic variables in agricultural production processes in two crops of importance to the CPA . For the study records database Las Tunas Provincial Meteorological Center in the period from May 2014 to December 2015. The study took into account the soil and climatic requirements of crops and weather patterns they were taken in the area study. The variables studied were temperature , relative humidity , rainfall , wind speed and sunshine . In addition an assessment of crop yields and their economic impact was performed.El trabajo investigativo se desarrolló en la CPA Asalto al Polvorín en el municipio de Puerto Padre en Las Tunas. El objetivo fundamental fue el de evaluar el comportamiento de las variables agroclimáticas en los procesos productivos agrícolas en dos cultivos de importancia para la CPA. Para la realización del estudio se tomaron los registros de la base de datos del Centro Meteorológico Provincial Las Tunas en el periodo de mayo 2014 hasta el diciembre 2015. El estudio tuvo en consideración las exigencias edafoclimáticas de los cultivos y el comportamiento del clima en la zona de estudio. Las variables analizadas fueron las temperaturas, la humedad relativa, las precipitaciones, la velocidad del viento y la insolación. Además se realizó una valoración de los rendimientos de los cultivos y su impacto económico
