The authors put forward a technique of stationarization of the failure flow intended for calculating reliability rates of aging objects of transportation and communication networks. They propose to substitute a stationarization of a real non-stationary failure flow for a stationary one with a parameter ƛc , chosen on the basis of some additional considerations, and study two possible approaches to solve the problem.

    ATLAS DAQ/HLT rack DCS

    Get PDF
The ATLAS Detector Control System (DCS) group provides a set of standard tools, used by subsystems to implement their local control systems. The ATLAS Data Acquisition and High Level Trigger (DAQ/HLT) rack DCS provides monitoring of the environmental parameters (air temperatures, humidity, etc.). The DAQ/HLT racks are located in the underground counting room (20 racks) and in the surface building (100 racks). The rack DCS is based on standard ATLAS tools and integrated into overall operation of the experiment. The implementation is based on the commercial control package and additional components, developed by CERN Joint Controls Project Framework. The prototype implementation and measurements are presented

AMT SOUNDINGS IN THE DEAD BAND WITHIN THE CHUKOTKA REGION (RUSSIAN FAR EAST)

The article analyzes the amplitude spectra of audio magnetotelluric sounding (AMTs) data. Particular attention is focused on the frequency range from 1 to 5 kHz, which is called dead band. We analyzed the data of base stations used in the fieldwork during the summer and autumn seasons in 2013, 2014, and 2017. The area of work is located in the Chukotka Autonomous Area beyond the Arctic Circle. Previous researchers noted that a reliable signal in the dead band can only be obtained at nighttime. The authors of the article found that in Chukotka region in the daytime against the minimum signal within the dead band there is a local maximum at a frequency of 2.4 kHz. When registering a field for more than 3 hours during daytime, in most cases, it is possible to restore the frequencies of 2.2 and 2.6 kHz. These frequencies are reliable benchmarks, allowing in some cases to restore the AMT curve using the correlation between amplitude and phase. We have proposed ways to improve data quality in the dead band when measured during the daytime

THE INFLUENCE OF VISCERAL OBESITY ON COGNITION IN PATIENTS AFTER CORONARY ARTERY BYPASS SURGERY

Aim. To assess the influence of visceral obesity (VO) on cognitive function (CF) of patients after coronary artery bypass surgery (CBG).Material and methods. Totally, 90 patients included, selected to 2 groups (gr.) by the parameter “waist/hip circumference”. To 1st gr. we included 46 patients with VO, to 2nd — 44 patients without VO. CG assessed via software and hardware by “Status PF” (Kemerovo), the tests on memory, attention, cognition and neurodynamics were done.Results. In comparison of CF between the groups, in 1 gr. there were lower results comparing to the 2nd before CBG, after 2 weeks and 6 months. In timeline of CF assessment of 1 gr. there was decline of imagery memory (p=0,014) in 2 weeks after CBG. In 6 months after CBG there was improvement of CF in gr. 1 comparing to preoperation data, incl. statistically significant improvement of memory, cognition and neurodynamics. While comparing the CF parameters in 2nd group, there was improvement by “simple analogy” test (p=0,00028) and neurodynamics (the total delays decreased (p=0,033) in the reaction on moving object) even in 2 weeks after CBG. In 6 months after CBG the patients from 2nd group showed improvement of attention, cognition and neurodynamics.Conclusion. Patients with VO have significantly worse CF and the risk of permanent cognition disorders development after CBG, than those without VO
