(Eng) Plato offers two criticisms of imitative poetry in the
Republic.
In the first
one, developed in books II and III, Plato seems to criticize poetry softly,
banning only one part of imitative poetry. The second criticism, developed
in book
x
, seems to establish a more drastic critique to imitative poetry that
precludes the possibility of any kind of imitative poetry in the polis. Many
different interpretations have been proposed in order to account for this
apparent clash. I will defend Tate’s classical interpretation, according to
which no clash exists because Plato distinguishes two kinds of imitations,
and he remains consistent in preserving one and banishing the other.(Spa) Platón realiza dos críticas a la poesía imitativa en la

Urban expansion and changes in land use in the city of Curuzú Cuatiá, Corrientes, Argentina, between the years 1990 and 2016
Geographical studies have always raised the need to observe and describe the territory we inhabit as well as to inquire about the changes and relationships between its components. The territory is the object of permanent intervention and planning and the, national, provincial, municipal, local administrations coexist with decision-making necessary to move towards a sustainable and effective territory. In this context, having updated and accessible territorial information is paramount since it enables the planning and participation of social, political, economic and academic actors. The aim of this contribution is to generate evidence, information and knowledge about the characteristics of the urban expansion of the city of Curuzú Cuatiá, province of Corrientes, for which the changes in land use were determined and analysed between 1990 and 2016. As a data source, images from the Landsat 5 satellite - sensor TM - and Landsat 8 - sensor OLI - were used for each of these moments, which were classified into five categories. The results show particularities of recent urban expansion, the increasing consumption of urban land, the changes and the variability in land use and the consolidation of a city of low densities.Fil: Gomez, Laura Fabiana.
The approach to contexts from narrative perspectives refers to the way situations or issues are analyzed, understood, and addressed through the construction and exploration of narratives. This approach is based on the concept that individuals give meaning to their experiences through the creation of stories or narratives that allow them to organize, interpret, and communicate their experiences. Exploring situations through narrative perspectives takes into account personal stories, the social construction of reality, contextualization of problems, problem construction, among others. It involves recognizing the power of personal stories in shaping reality and how individuals face challenges. This approach provides tools to explore, understand, and change narratives, thereby promoting personal growth and change. The development of this work begins by examining narratives of stories that are revisited, through the formulation of circular, reflective, and strategic questions that allow for inferences into individual thinking. Additionally, the analysis and presentation of the case of the Massacre in the El Salado district are presented, a traumatic event that left physical, psychological, and social repercussions in the daily life of this community. Therefore, psychosocial action strategies are proposed to enable the community, through narrative, to recognize and modify their self-perception. Finally, the development of the reflective and analytical report is presented, culminating in the presentation developed in step 3 of the course, the "magazine," where each of the social issues affecting the community in the localities of Fontibón, Bosa, Rafael Uribe Uribe, and Suba in the city of Bogotá is addressed

Activation of Type 1 Cannabinoid Receptor (CB1R) promotes neurogenesis in murine subventricular zone cell cultures
The endocannabinoid system has been implicated in the modulation of adult neurogenesis. Here, we describe the effect of type 1 cannabinoid receptor (CB1R) activation on self-renewal, proliferation and neuronal differentiation in mouse neonatal subventricular zone (SVZ) stem/progenitor cell cultures. Expression of CB1R was detected in SVZ-derived immature cells (Nestin-positive), neurons and astrocytes. Stimulation of the CB1R by (R)-(+)-Methanandamide (R-m-AEA) increased self-renewal of SVZ cells, as assessed by counting the number of secondary neurospheres and the number of Sox2+/+ cell pairs, an effect blocked by Notch pathway inhibition. Moreover, R-m-AEA treatment for 48 h, increased proliferation as assessed by BrdU incorporation assay, an effect mediated by activation of MAPK-ERK and AKT pathways. Surprisingly, stimulation of CB1R by R-m-AEA also promoted neuronal differentiation (without affecting glial differentiation), at 7 days, as shown by counting the number of NeuN-positive neurons in the cultures. Moreover, by monitoring intracellular calcium concentrations ([Ca2+](i)) in single cells following KCl and histamine stimuli, a method that allows the functional evaluation of neuronal differentiation, we observed an increase in neuronal-like cells. This proneurogenic effect was blocked when SVZ cells were co-incubated with R-m-AEA and the CB1R antagonist AM 251, for 7 days, thus indicating that this effect involves CB1R activation. In accordance with an effect on neuronal differentiation and maturation, R-m-AEA also increased neurite growth, as evaluated by quantifying and measuring the number of MAP2-positive processes. Taken together, these results demonstrate that CB1R activation induces proliferation, self-renewal and neuronal differentiation from mouse neonatal SVZ cell cultures.
Study of the decay
The decay is studied
in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of TeV
using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5
collected by the LHCb experiment. In the system, the
state observed at the BaBar and Belle experiments is
resolved into two narrower states, and ,
whose masses and widths are measured to be where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second
systematic. The results are consistent with a previous LHCb measurement using a
prompt sample. Evidence of a new
state is found with a local significance of , whose mass and width
are measured to be and , respectively. In addition, evidence of a new decay mode
is found with a significance of
. The relative branching fraction of with respect to the
decay is measured to be , where the first
uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic and the third originates from
the branching fractions of charm hadron decays.Comment: All figures and tables, along with any supplementary material and

Juxtaposing BTE and ATE – on the role of the European insurance industry in funding civil litigation
One of the ways in which legal services are financed, and indeed shaped, is through private insurance arrangement. Two contrasting types of legal expenses insurance contracts (LEI) seem to dominate in Europe: before the event (BTE) and after the event (ATE) legal expenses insurance. Notwithstanding institutional differences between different legal systems, BTE and ATE insurance arrangements may be instrumental if government policy is geared towards strengthening a market-oriented system of financing access to justice for individuals and business. At the same time, emphasizing the role of a private industry as a keeper of the gates to justice raises issues of accountability and transparency, not readily reconcilable with demands of competition. Moreover, multiple actors (clients, lawyers, courts, insurers) are involved, causing behavioural dynamics which are not easily predicted or influenced.
Against this background, this paper looks into BTE and ATE arrangements by analysing the particularities of BTE and ATE arrangements currently available in some European jurisdictions and by painting a picture of their respective markets and legal contexts. This allows for some reflection on the performance of BTE and ATE providers as both financiers and keepers. Two issues emerge from the analysis that are worthy of some further reflection. Firstly, there is the problematic long-term sustainability of some ATE products. Secondly, the challenges faced by policymakers that would like to nudge consumers into voluntarily taking out BTE LEI
