    Implementación del método FAS y su incidencia en el desarrollo de la lectoescritura con los estudiantes de primer grado del Centro Escolar La Concepción, ubicado en la comarca La Concepción del municipio de Diriomo en el Departamento de Granada en el II semestre del año lectivo 2017

    El presente estudio aborda el análisis de la aplicación del método FAS y la incidencia que este tiene en el desarrollo de la lectoescritura de los estudiantes de primer grado del Centro Escolar Publico La Concepción del Municipio de Diriomo del Departamento de Granada, en el II semestre del curso escolar 2017. Este estudio se desarrolló con 10 de 25 estudiantes de la matricula actual, la docente que imparte el primer grado, el director del centro escolar, él asesor pedagógico de primaria, estos como informantes clave. Los propósitos planteados en el desarrollo del estudio fueron el de valorar como se está implementando el método FAS, realizando primeramente un análisis del método y la incidencia que tiene en la lectoescritura, identificando los avances y las dificultades que presentan los estudiantes, para poder sugerir recomendaciones que favorezcan en desarrollar en ellos esta competencia. Los principales hallazgos muestran que el método FAS es rico en estrategias metodológicos y recursos a utilizar en cada etapa y fase, pero en primer grado el método se está implementando de una manera deficiente por parte de la docente y por consecuente los estudiantes no han logrado leer y escribir, mientras que la docente no asume la responsabilidad de sus hechos, sino que responsabiliza a los padres de familia de que sus hijos no saben nada porque no los envían a la escuela, el director asume que es la docente que no implementa todos los pasos del método junto con el carácter de la docente, tiene estancados a los estudiantes sin ningún avance en la lectoescritura. Por tales motivos sugerimos recomendaciones a la docente y al director que asuman sus compromisos de organizar en conjunto una repuesta a dicha situación, asegurando que el trabajo docente sea de calidad cumpliendo con los procesos pedagógicos en el desarrollo de cada clase impartida a los estudiantes de primer grado quienes son los más afectados en esta problemática.     Search for electroweak production of charginos and neutralinos in multilepton final states in proton-proton collisions at root s=13 TeV

    Results are presented from a search for the direct electroweak production of charginos and neutralinos in signatures with either two or more leptons (electrons or muons) of the same electric charge, or with three or more leptons, which can include up to two hadronically decaying tau leptons. The results are based on a sample of protonproton collision data collected at p s = 13TeV, recorded with the CMS detector at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 35.9 fb1. The observed event yields are consistent with the expectations based on the standard model. The results are interpreted in simpli ed models of supersymmetry describing various scenarios for the production and decay of charginos and neutralinos. Depending on the model parameters chosen, mass values between 180GeV and 1150 GeV are excluded at 95% CL. These results signi cantly extend the parameter space probed for these particles in searches at the LHC.     The genomic history of the Iberian Peninsula over the past 8000 years

    We assembled genome-wide data from 271 ancient Iberians, of whom 176 are from the largely unsampled period after 2000 BCE, thereby providing a high-resolution time transect of the Iberian Peninsula. We document high genetic substructure between northwestern and southeastern hunter-gatherers before the spread of farming. We reveal sporadic contacts between Iberia and North Africa by ~2500 BCE and, by ~2000 BCE, the replacement of 40% of Iberia’s ancestry and nearly 100% of its Y-chromosomes by people with Steppe ancestry. We show that, in the Iron Age, Steppe ancestry had spread not only into Indo-European–speaking regions but also into non-Indo-European–speaking ones, and we reveal that present-day Basques are best described as a typical Iron Age population without the admixture events that later affected the rest of Iberia.     Reproducibility of fluorescent expression from engineered biological constructs in E. coli

    We present results of the first large-scale interlaboratory study carried out in synthetic biology, as part of the 2014 and 2015 International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competitions. Participants at 88 institutions around the world measured fluorescence from three engineered constitutive constructs in E. coli. Few participants were able to measure absolute fluorescence, so data was analyzed in terms of ratios. Precision was strongly related to fluorescent strength, ranging from 1.54-fold standard deviation for the ratio between strong promoters to 5.75-fold for the ratio between the strongest and weakest promoter, and while host strain did not affect expression ratios, choice of instrument did. This result shows that high quantitative precision and reproducibility of results is possible, while at the same time indicating areas needing improved laboratory practices.Peer reviewe

    The structure of the CMS inner tracking system has been studied using nuclear interactions of hadrons striking its material. Data from proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV recorded in 2015 at the LHC are used to reconstruct millions of secondary vertices from these nuclear interactions. Precise positions of the beam pipe and the inner tracking system elements, such as the pixel detector support tube, and barrel pixel detector inner shield and support rails, are determined using these vertices. These measurements are important for detector simulations, detector upgrades, and to identify any changes in the positions of inactive elements
