    В данной статье рассмотрено влияние горнодобывающей промышленности на экологическую ситуацию регионов России, к ним относится: Кузнецкий, Иркутский, КанскоАчинский, Южно-Якутский и Донецкий каменноугольные бассейны. Проанализированы последствия горной добычи. Выявлены методы борьбы с загрязнением окружающей среды. Установлено, что существующих методов недостаточно, важен человеческий фактор.     Capturing variability in Model Based Systems Engineering

    International audienceAutomotive model-based systems engineering needs to be dapted to the industry specific needs, in particular by implementing appropriate means of representing and operating with variability. We rely on existing modeling techniques as an opportunity to provide a description of variability adapted to a systems en- gineering model. However, we also need to take into account requirements related to backwards compatibility with current practices, given the industry experience in mass customization. We propose to adopt the product line paradigm in model-based systems engineering by extending the orthogonal variability model, and adapting it to our specific needs. This brings us to an expression closer to a description of constraints, related to both orthogonal variability, and to SysML system models. We introduce our approach through a discussion on the different aspects that need to be covered for expressing variability in systems engineering. We explore these aspects by observing an automotive case study, and relate them to a list of contextual requirements for variability management

    Context. The primary alcohol n-propanol (i.e., normal-propanol or propan-1-ol; C3H7OH) occurs in five different conformers: Ga, Gg, Gg', Aa, and Ag. All rotational spectra of the three conformers of the G family are well described, making astronomical search of their spectroscopic signatures possible, as opposed to those of the Aa and Ag conformers. Aims. Our goal is to facilitate the astronomical detection of Aa and Ag conformers of n-propanol by characterizing their rotational spectra. Methods. We recorded the rotational spectra of n-propanol in the frequency domain of 18-505 GHz. Additional double-modulation double-resonance (DM-DR) measurements were performed, more specifically with the goal to unambiguously assign weak transitions of the Aa conformer and to verify assignments of the Ag conformer. Results. We derived a spectroscopic quantum mechanical model with experimental accuracy (with Jmax = 70 and Ka,max = 6) for Aa n-propanol. Furthermore, we unambiguously assigned transitions (with Jmax = 69 and Ka,max = 9) of Ag n-propanol; in doing so, we prove the existence of two tunneling states, Ag+ and Ag−. Conclusions. The astronomical search of all five conformers of n-propanol is now possible via their rotational signatures. These are applied in a companion article on the detection of n-propanol toward the hot molecular core Sgr B2(N2)

    Genetic evolution of T-cell resistance in the course of melanoma progression

    Purpose: CD8+T lymphocytes can kill autologous melanoma cells, but their activity is impaired when poorly immunogenic tumor phenotypes evolve in the course of disease progression. Here, we analyzed three consecutive melanoma lesions obtained within one year of developing stage IV disease for their recognition by autologous T cells.Experimental Design: One skin (Ma-Mel-48a) and two lymph node (Ma-Mel-48b, Ma-Mel-48c) metastases were analyzed for T-cell infiltration. Melanoma cell lines established from the respective lesions were characterized, determining the T-cell-stimulatory capacity, expression of surface molecules involved in T-cell activation, and specific genetic alterations affecting the tumor-T-cell interaction.Results: Metastases Ma-Mel-48 a and Ma-Mel-48b, in contrast with Ma-Mel-48c, were infiltrated by T cells. The T-cell-stimulatory capacity was found to be strong for Ma-Mel-48a, lower for Ma-Mel-48b, and completely abrogated for Ma-Mel-48c cells. The latter proved to be HLA class I-negative due to an inactivating mutation in one allele of the beta-2-microglobulin (B2M) gene and concomitant loss of the other allele by a deletion on chromosome 15q. The same deletion was already present in Ma-Mel-48 a and Ma-Mel-48b cells, pointing to an early acquired genetic event predisposing to development of β2m deficiency. Notably, the same chronology of genetic alterations was also observed in a second β2m-deficient melanoma model.Conclusion: Our study reveals a progressive loss in melanoma immunogenicity during the course of metastatic disease. The genetic evolvement of T-cell resistance suggests screening tumors for genetic alterations affecting immunogenicity could be clinically relevant in terms of predicting patient responses to T-cell-based immunotherapy
