Abandono de terrazas de cultivo: recolonización vegetal y erosión en el sureste peninsular
[Resumen] El paisaje del sureste peninsular ha estado marcado, en los últimos decenios, por
los cambios en los aprovechamientos de las laderas subáridas. Frente a concepciones lineales de los procesos erosivos que afectan a estos espacios, la metodología empleada y los resultados obtenidos evidencian la necesidad de abordar este tema con planteamientos puramente geográficos, donde se valora el papel de los factores abióticos y bióticos del medio, sin olvidar que ambos son decisivos en la comprensión y explicación del paisaje desde una visión antropocéntrica.[Abstract] In the last decades the southeast peninsular landscape has been affected by the changes in the used subarid slopes. Results of donor after cardiac death circulation activation: recuperation of spontaneous circulation analysis.
The activation procedure of a potential donor after cardiac death begins after recognition of a situation of unrecovered PCR patient meets the criteria donor after cardiac death. Still have to meet a number of medical conditions and logistical both for the potential donor becomes effective donor. The aim of this study is to describe this procedure and know the number of potential donors who finally become effective donors.

Radio source calibration for the VSA and other CMB instruments at around 30 GHz
Accurate calibration of data is essential for the current generation of CMB
experiments. Using data from the Very Small Array (VSA), we describe procedures
which will lead to an accuracy of 1 percent or better for experiments such as
the VSA and CBI. Particular attention is paid to the stability of the receiver
systems, the quality of the site and frequent observations of reference
sources. At 30 GHz the careful correction for atmospheric emission and
absorption is shown to be essential for achieving 1 percent precision. The
sources for which a 1 percent relative flux density calibration was achieved
included Cas A, Cyg A, Tau A and NGC7027 and the planets Venus, Jupiter and
Saturn. A flux density, or brightness temperature in the case of the planets,
was derived at 33 GHz relative to Jupiter which was adopted as the fundamental
calibrator. A spectral index at ~30 GHz is given for each. Cas A,Tau A, NGC7027
and Venus were examined for variability. Cas A was found to be decreasing at
percent per year over the period March 2001 to August 2004.
In the same period Tau A was decreasing at percent per year. A
survey of the published data showed that the planetary nebula NGC7027 decreased
at percent per year over the period 1967 to 2003. Venus showed
an insignificant ( percent) variation with Venusian illumination.
The integrated polarization of Tau A at 33 GHz was found to be

Charge separation relative to the reaction plane in Pb-Pb collisions at TeV
Measurements of charge dependent azimuthal correlations with the ALICE
detector at the LHC are reported for Pb-Pb collisions at TeV. Two- and three-particle charge-dependent azimuthal correlations in
the pseudo-rapidity range are presented as a function of the
collision centrality, particle separation in pseudo-rapidity, and transverse
momentum. A clear signal compatible with a charge-dependent separation relative
to the reaction plane is observed, which shows little or no collision energy
dependence when compared to measurements at RHIC energies. This provides a new
insight for understanding the nature of the charge dependent azimuthal

A note on comonotonicity and positivity of the control components of decoupled quadratic FBSDE
In this small note we are concerned with the solution of Forward-Backward
Stochastic Differential Equations (FBSDE) with drivers that grow quadratically
in the control component (quadratic growth FBSDE or qgFBSDE). The main theorem
is a comparison result that allows comparing componentwise the signs of the
control processes of two different qgFBSDE. As a byproduct one obtains
conditions that allow establishing the positivity of the control process.Comment: accepted for publicatio
Regulation of cell death receptor S-nitrosylation and apoptotic signaling by Sorafenib in hepatoblastoma cells
Nitric oxide (NO) plays a relevant role during cell death regulation in tumor cells. The overexpression of nitric oxide synthase type III (NOS-3) induces oxidative and nitrosative stress, p53 and cell death receptor expression and apoptosis in hepatoblastoma cells. S-nitrosylation of cell death receptor modulates apoptosis. Sorafenib is the unique recommended molecular-targeted drug for the treatment of patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma. The present study was addressed to elucidate the potential role of NO during Sorafenib-induced cell death in HepG2 cells. We determined the intra- and extracellular NO concentration, cell death receptor expression and their S-nitrosylation modifications, and apoptotic signaling in Sorafenib-treated HepG2 cells. The effect of NO donors on above parameters has also been determined. Sorafenib induced apoptosis in HepG2 cells. However, low concentration of the drug (10nM) increased cell death receptor expression, as well as caspase-8 and -9 activation, but without activation of downstream apoptotic markers. In contrast, Sorafenib (10 µM) reduced upstream apoptotic parameters but increased caspase-3 activation and DNA fragmentation in HepG2 cells. The shift of cell death signaling pathway was associated with a reduction of S-nitrosylation of cell death receptors in Sorafenib-treated cells. The administration of NO donors increased S-nitrosylation of cell death receptors and overall induction of cell death markers in control and Sorafenib-treated cells. One-neutron transfer study of 135Te and 137Xe by particle-γ coincidence spectroscopy: The ν1i13/2 state at N = 83
Additional information is reported on single-neutron states above the doubly closed-shell nucleus 132Sn. A radioactive ion beam of 134Te(N=82) at 565 MeV and a stable ion beam of 136Xe(N=82) at 560 MeV were used to study single-neutron states in the N=8
Transverse sphericity of primary charged particles in minimum bias proton-proton collisions at , 2.76 and 7 TeV
Measurements of the sphericity of primary charged particles in minimum bias
proton--proton collisions at , 2.76 and 7 TeV with the ALICE
detector at the LHC are presented. The observable is linearized to be collinear
safe and is measured in the plane perpendicular to the beam direction using
primary charged tracks with GeV/c in . The
mean sphericity as a function of the charged particle multiplicity at
mid-rapidity () is reported for events with different
scales ("soft" and "hard") defined by the transverse momentum of the leading
particle. In addition, the mean charged particle transverse momentum versus
multiplicity is presented for the different event classes, and the sphericity
distributions in bins of multiplicity are presented. The data are compared with
calculations of standard Monte Carlo event generators. The transverse
sphericity is found to grow with multiplicity at all collision energies, with a
steeper rise at low , whereas the event generators show the
opposite tendency. The combined study of the sphericity and the mean with multiplicity indicates that most of the tested event generators
produce events with higher multiplicity by generating more back-to-back jets
resulting in decreased sphericity (and isotropy). The PYTHIA6 generator with
tune PERUGIA-2011 exhibits a noticeable improvement in describing the data,

Centrality dependence of charged particle production at large transverse momentum in Pb-Pb collisions at TeV
The inclusive transverse momentum () distributions of primary
charged particles are measured in the pseudo-rapidity range as a
function of event centrality in Pb-Pb collisions at
TeV with ALICE at the LHC. The data are presented in the range
GeV/ for nine centrality intervals from 70-80% to 0-5%.
The Pb-Pb spectra are presented in terms of the nuclear modification factor
using a pp reference spectrum measured at the same collision
energy. We observe that the suppression of high- particles strongly
depends on event centrality. In central collisions (0-5%) the yield is most
suppressed with at -7 GeV/. Above
GeV/, there is a significant rise in the nuclear modification
factor, which reaches for GeV/. In
peripheral collisions (70-80%), the suppression is weaker with almost independently of . The measured nuclear
