Currently Pancasila and its values are being ignored. There are indications to reject Pancasila after the reformation. Nationalism as the unifier in diversity began to evaporate. Various problems related to ideological, political, legal, economic, religious issues came to the surface. All of this needs to be considered as a threat to national harmony. What has happened to the Dayak and Madura tribes is one proof that the problem of ethnocentrism exists and will arise if we are not aware of it. The role of civic education, especially at the university level, needs to be studied whether it still functions as social control or only as a formality. The method in this study uses sequential explanatory mixed methods. Through this research, civic education learning will be traced and analyzed more in-depth at the university level in terms of the material provided, whether it is still one-way in nature, or it is applicable related to real phenomena in students, by focusing on their life experiences. Keywords: civic education, nationalism, Pancasila, social control, universit

Teenagers today are more interested in modern western cultures and have gradually loosing respects for their own traditional cultures. Many of them have already started to forget the stories and arts of wayang. One form of modern culture that is increasingly favored by teenagers is digital game that presents diverse contents and ease of access as it can be played on a variety of electronic devices. This project is trying to reintroduce Indonesian wayang culture in the form of digital game to regain the interest of the teenagers. The story introduced in the game design is based on the legend of Dewa Ruci from the myths of wayang purwa. The story resolves around Bima and his journeys to find the water of life. The design method incorporates data collecting, data analysis and game design process. Fullerton's iteration method is applied in the process of game development. The methods used for data mining are based on the descriptive methods, implementing researches on the narratives and characters found in Dewa Ruci story both visually and philosophically, along with the substances of the story respectively. Data collections are derived from literatures and interviews. Information gathered such as Bima's heavy coarse features and his vicious Pancanaka, attributes such as Bima's poleng cloth and Candrakirana armlets, sacred mantras such as Jalasengsara and Bayu Braja, and Bima's adversaries confronted along the paths in finding the water of life are analyzed and developed into various visual assets in the game. The model of the game which is being developed is an action adventure side-scrolling platformer with a distinctive iconic character style, utilizing visual concepts derived from traditional shadow puppet's performance

Changes in the higher education curriculum with the concept of Independent Learning are responded to through various teaching-learning patterns. This situation needs to be addressed with an understanding on the part of educational institutions that the face-to-face learning model in the classroom is not the only best way. Students need to gain learning experience in the real world so that the development of their character, attitudes, and skills can be honed properly. Unfortunately, this often becomes more complex, when project assignments given are completely different from student competencies. In this case, many lecturers would prefer conventional learning with a regular curriculum which seems more responsible. For this reason, it is necessary to be flexible, especially with supervisors and university partners to optimize students' willingness to go into society as an opportunity for both students and the community to serve.

The efficacy of oral and rectal administration of sodium phosphate monobasic and dibasic solution (NaP) combined with bisacodil per oral, as drugs to prepare the colon for rigid colonoscopy in dogs was compa1ed. Clinical parameters; colonic cleaning, plasma concentration of calcium, potassium (K+), sodium (Na+), magnesium (Mg+), creatinine, and albumin, and complete blood count were evaluated. In both groups, all electrolytes presented alterations, with significant reduction of the levels of K+ and Mg+, but there were no electrocardiographic alterations. No difference in the reduction of bacterial population was observed between the two groups. The results were similar regarding the incidence of side effects; however, the rectal route presented less fecal retention in colon and could get patients ready for the procedure faster. The preparation of bowel with bisacodil and NaP solution by rectal route was more effective and could be recommended for colonoscopy in dogs

The routine of the colonoscopic examination for therapeutic evaluation, for diagnosis, and management of the diseases of the colon and of the rectum, as well as for screening and prevention of the colorectal cancer in young patients bearing premalignant diseases or in those above 50 years of age, as well as for screening and prevention of the colorectal cancer in young patients bearing premalignant diseases or in those above 50 years of age, "has been one of the most successful public health projects worldwide71". The easy acceptance is due to three principal factors: first, to the technical adaptation and evolution of the instruments, and the safety of the examination; second one, to the practical development of the examiner skills, and, thirdly, to the magnificence of the image revealing broad access to the fine structures of the mucous membrane, with a large criteria for the diagnosis. In this context, the necessary preparation became the worst part or less tolerable of the colonoscopy. For this reason, it is necessary to look for a method of preparation, quick, efficient, cheap, pleasant, and safe. In the last 40 years, between the commentaries on mechanical and pharmacological methods - with different associations of laxative drugs - it was possible to find three products that, at least during some time, were world-wide references on large bowel cleaning for colonoscopy. They are: first, a 10% mannitol solution - it was dropped because of explosives accidents -; second, the polyethylene glycol (PEG) solutions, it was depreciated due to the requirement of large volumes for oral ingestion, due to electrolytic balance disturbance and rejection by the patient, and the third, the sodium phosphate (NaP) that would seem ideal, but that has received criticism because of its side effects, especially the nephrotoxicity. There is no the discussion on the efficiency of these three products, but on the safety with which we might promote their indiscriminate uses to offer the best conditions on performance of the colonoscopy. However, we have an impasse: the mannitol was abandoned, but it keeps on indicated among us, without causing problems, in a scheme that is different from which was used in the past when it influenced the accidents. On the other hand, the pharmaceutical industry did not manage to popularize PEG; the NaP is manufactured for rectal use, it substituted the predecessors with efficient cleaning, but with significantly harmful lesions. So, which remains for us is to rescue the mannitol - for that, we must evidence through a randomized trial that a oral ingestion of 10% mannitol solution, at least up to 4 hours before the colonoscopy, is totally harmless on diagnosis and therapeutic procedures
