Determination of Fundamental Supersymmetry Parameters from Chargino Production at Lepii
If accessible at LEP II, chargino production is likely to be one of the few
available supersymmetric signals for many years. We consider the prospects for
the determination of fundamental supersymmetry parameters in such a scenario.
The study is complicated by the dependence of observables on a large number of
these parameters. We propose a straightforward procedure for disentangling
these dependences and demonstrate its effectiveness by presenting a number of
case studies at representative points in parameter space. Working in the
context of the minimal supersymmetric standard model, we find that chargino
production by itself is a fairly sensitive probe of the supersymmetry-breaking
sector. For significant regions of parameter space, it is possible to test the
gaugino mass unification hypothesis and to measure the gaugino contents of the
charginos and neutralinos, thereby testing the predictions of grand unification
and the viability of the lightest supersymmetric particle as a dark matter
candidate. For much of the parameter space, it is also possible to set limits
on the mass of the electron sneutrino, which provide a valuable guide for

Collider aspects of flavour physics at high Q
This review presents flavour related issues in the production and decays of
heavy states at LHC, both from the experimental side and from the theoretical
side. We review top quark physics and discuss flavour aspects of several
extensions of the Standard Model, such as supersymmetry, little Higgs model or
models with extra dimensions. This includes discovery aspects as well as
measurement of several properties of these heavy states. We also present public

Neutral pion and meson production in proton-proton collisions at TeV and TeV
The first measurements of the invariant differential cross sections of
inclusive and meson production at mid-rapidity in proton-proton
collisions at TeV and TeV are reported. The
measurement covers the ranges GeV/ and GeV/ for
these two energies, respectively. The production of mesons was measured
at TeV in the range GeV/. Next-to-Leading Order
perturbative QCD calculations, which are consistent with the spectrum
at TeV, overestimate those of and mesons at
TeV, but agree with the measured ratio at

Decarbonisation of operations management–looking back, moving forward: a review and implications for the production research community
This paper systematically analyses the vital motivations, drivers and barriers to the adoption of low-carbon operations management practices in response to climate change, highlighting the implications for the International Journal of Production Research (IJPR)’s community, which has contributed significantly to discussion of and research into sustainable production. Based on a thorough review of key articles on low-carbon operations management published in a number of prestigious journals, seven propositions for future research are suggested. Additionally, a unique classification of the barriers to and motivations for low-carbon production is put forward. These areas, which deserve further investigation, are (a) economic issues, (b) policy, (c) technology, (d) governance and (e) the market. The research agenda proposed for low-carbon production and operations may prove useful to the production research community in planning future developments and research projects, increasing knowledge and designing teaching modules on the topic. Spin dependent nonsinglet structure functions in next-to-leading order
We study in detail the flavor-non-singlet component of polarized structure
functions in the framework of a consistent and complete next-to-leading order
( analysis. In this context, we discuss some important
features of the calculation of the next-to-leading order corrections.
Particular emphasis is put on the -evolution of sum-rules for the first
moments of the non-singlet structure functions which, as we show, could serve
to explore and breaking effects in relations between baryonic
-decay matrix elements and in the proton's polarized sea. Furthermore we
make predictions for polarized non-singlet structure functions measurable in a
