Lønnsomhetsanalyse av torsketrålere: Hva er lønnsomhetsdriverne til norske torsketrålere?
Studien har som formål å undersøke hvilke lønnsomhetsdrivere som påvirker norske torsketrålere. Fartøygruppen torsketrål er fartøygruppen som oppnår høyest lønnsomhet i fiskeflåten i Norge. Vi skal undersøke om det er forskjeller i oppnådd lønnsomhet mellom de ulike fartøyene. Studien tar for seg variablene: alder på fartøy og eierskap. Vi undersøker om variablene er lønnsomhetsdriverne for oppnådd lønnsomhet.
For å svare på problemstillingen og forskningsspørsmålene har vi hentet inn regnskapstall fra Brønnøysundregisteret og fangsttall fra Fiskeridirektoratet. Studien er en tidsserieundersøkelse som undersøker lønnsomheten i perioden 2015 til 2019. Utvalget består av 27 fartøy som utgjør 75% av populasjonen. Utvalget i studien innehar 90% av torskekvoten i fartøygruppen torsketrål.
Innledende analyser viser at det er stor variasjon i avkastningen og den operasjonelle driften til fartøyene. Videre analyser avdekker at det er to variabler som skiller utvalget er todelt eierskap og ulik alder på fartøyene. I videre analyser undersøker vi om alder på fartøy og eierskap er lønnsomhetsdrivere som kan forklare forskjellene i oppnådd lønnsomhet.
Gruppen med eldre fartøy oppnår dobbelt så høy avkastning på sysselsatt kapital som gruppen med nyere fartøy. Videre analyser avdekker at disse forskjellene skyldes måleutfordringer i regnskapet mellom eiendeler med ulik alder. Vi videreutviklet lønnsomhetsmålene og fant ut at ulik bokført verdi og prisstigning forklarte forskjellen mellom de to gruppene. Analysen viste at nyere fartøy ikke oppnådde høyere lønnsomhet enn eldre fartøy. Analysen viste videre at nyere fartøy ikke hadde bedre operasjonell drift enn eldre fartøy, selv om de har større fangsteffektivitet.
Analysen av eierskap viser at forskjellen i oppnådd rentabilitet på sysselsatt kapital mellom fartøy eid av fiskeindustrien og fartøy eid av aktive fiskere blir forklart av ulik kapitalstruktur. Det er ikke forskjeller i den operasjonelle driften mellom de to gruppene med fartøy.

Violence after discharge from forensic units in the safe pilot study : a prospective study with matched pair design
Objective: This paper reports on a prospective naturalistic study of violent recidivism after discharge from forensic mental health. Main aims were to find predictors of violence and to test the feasibility of a matched pair design for this purpose. Methods: Patients from the Safe pilot project (n=18) and a group of controls (n=18) were matched on 10 variables, such as diagnosis, seriousness of violence, setting after discharge, and risk management plans. All the Safe pilot patients had been through repeated measurement of dynamic risk factors of violence the year before discharge to develop efficient risk management plans for use after discharge. We wanted to test whether violent recidivism during follow-up would be lower and less serious in the Safe pilot group. Results: We found no significant between-group difference concerning number of patients with violent recidivism. However, the Safe pilot patients had significantly lower rates of violence and fewer severe violent episodes. In the control group, there was a significant association between a high number of risk management plans and high rates of violence. There was a statistical trend for the opposite association in the Safe pilot group. Conclusion: We discuss this in terms of a possible gap between the development and implementation of plans. Community-driven dispersal in an individual-based predator-prey model
We present a spatial, individual-based predator-prey model in which dispersal
is dependent on the local community. We determine species suitability to the
biotic conditions of their local environment through a time and space varying
fitness measure. Dispersal of individuals to nearby communities occurs whenever
their fitness falls below a predefined tolerance threshold. The spatiotemporal
dynamics of the model is described in terms of this threshold. We compare this
dynamics with the one obtained through density-independent dispersal and find
marked differences. In the community-driven scenario, the spatial correlations
in the population density do not vary in a linear fashion as we increase the
tolerance threshold. Instead we find the system to cross different dynamical
regimes as the threshold is raised. Spatial patterns evolve from disordered, to
scale-free complex patterns, to finally becoming well-organized domains. This
model therefore predicts that natural populations, the dispersal strategies of
which are likely to be influenced by their local environment, might be subject

Differential branching fraction and angular analysis of the decay B0→K∗0μ+μ−
The angular distribution and differential branching fraction of the decay B 0→ K ∗0 μ + μ − are studied using a data sample, collected by the LHCb experiment in pp collisions at s√=7 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb−1. Several angular observables are measured in bins of the dimuon invariant mass squared, q 2. A first measurement of the zero-crossing point of the forward-backward asymmetry of the dimuon system is also presented. The zero-crossing point is measured to be q20=4.9±0.9GeV2/c4 , where the uncertainty is the sum of statistical and systematic uncertainties. The results are consistent with the Standard Model predictions

channel to be (2.10 ± 0.08 ± 0.24) %, where the first uncertainty
is statistical and the second is systematic
Search for CP violation in D+→ϕπ+ and D+s→K0Sπ+ decays
A search for CP violation in D + → ϕπ + decays is performed using data collected in 2011 by the LHCb experiment corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb−1 at a centre of mass energy of 7 TeV. The CP -violating asymmetry is measured to be (−0.04 ± 0.14 ± 0.14)% for candidates with K − K + mass within 20 MeV/c 2 of the ϕ meson mass. A search for a CP -violating asymmetry that varies across the ϕ mass region of the D + → K − K + π + Dalitz plot is also performed, and no evidence for CP violation is found. In addition, the CP asymmetry in the D+s→K0Sπ+ decay is measured to be (0.61 ± 0.83 ± 0.14)%

Measurement of the CP-violating phase \phi s in Bs->J/\psi\pi+\pi- decays
Measurement of the mixing-induced CP-violating phase phi_s in Bs decays is of
prime importance in probing new physics. Here 7421 +/- 105 signal events from
the dominantly CP-odd final state J/\psi pi+ pi- are selected in 1/fb of pp
collision data collected at sqrt{s} = 7 TeV with the LHCb detector. A
time-dependent fit to the data yields a value of
phi_s=-0.019^{+0.173+0.004}_{-0.174-0.003} rad, consistent with the Standard

Measurement of the CP-violating phase phi_s in the decay Bs->J/psi phi
We present a measurement of the time-dependent CP-violating asymmetry in B_s
-> J/psi phi decays, using data collected with the LHCb detector at the LHC.
The decay time distribution of B_s -> J/psi phi is characterized by the decay
widths Gamma_H and Gamma_L of the heavy and light mass eigenstates of the
B_s-B_s-bar system and by a CP-violating phase phi_s. In a sample of about 8500
B_s -> J/psi phi events isolated from 0.37 fb^-1 of pp collisions at sqrt(s)=7
TeV we measure phi_s = 0.15 +/- 0.18 (stat) +/- 0.06 (syst) rad. We also find
an average B_s decay width Gamma_s == (Gamma_L + Gamma_H)/2 = 0.657 +/- 0.009
(stat) +/- 0.008 (syst) ps^-1 and a decay width difference Delta Gamma_s ==
Gamma_L - Gamma_H} = 0.123 +/- 0.029 (stat) +/- 0.011 (syst) ps^-1. Our
measurement is insensitive to the transformation (phi_s,DeltaGamma_s --> pi -

Search for CP violation in decays
A model-independent search for direct CP violation in the Cabibbo suppressed
decay in a sample of approximately 370,000 decays is
carried out. The data were collected by the LHCb experiment in 2010 and
correspond to an integrated luminosity of 35 pb. The normalized Dalitz
plot distributions for and are compared using four different
binning schemes that are sensitive to different manifestations of CP violation.
