    Pendidikan yang membebaskan: Sadar akan pluralitas dalam pendidikan Kristiani di era posmodern

    This study aims to examine the pluralistic principle in Christian religious education in the postmodern era. This research process uses descriptive social qualitative methods. Namely, researchers use descriptive data, explain, and analyze phenomena, and interpret social dynamics and attitudes of beliefs that develop in society in the framework of educational analysis. The study results indicate that essentially education is life and/or life is education. Based on this principle, the goal of education is to humanize humans, namely, to consistently manage harmonious relationships with Allah, the Owner of their lives, others, and their environment. This research finds common ground and, at the same time, produces an inclusive education formulation that sees the others in the frame of plurality or plurality who are entitled to enjoy the freedom of expression in the light of the will of the Divine. This concept must be present in the life of postmodern society.  AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji prinsip pluralistik dalam Pendidikan agama Kristen di era postmodern. Proses penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif sosial deskriptif, yakni peneliti memanfaatkan data deskriptif, menjelaskan dan menganalisis fenomena, menginterpretasi dinamika sosial dan sikap kepercayaan yang berkembang di masyarakat dalam bingkai analisis pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada hakikatnya pendidikan adalah kehidupan dan/atau kehidupan adalah pendidikan. Didasari dengan prinsip tersebut maka tujuan ultim pendidikan adalah memanusiakan manusia secara utuh, yakni secara konsisten mengelola relasi harmoni dengan Allah-Sang Pemilik hidupnya, sesama dan lingkungannya. Penelitian ini menemukan titik temu dan sekaligus menghasilkan rumusan pendidikan inklusif yang melihat the others dalam bingkai kemajemukan atau pluralitas yang berhak menikmati kebebasan berekspresi dalam terang kehendak Sang Ilahi.     Peter Wagner, as an expert on church growth, stated that the Apostolic church is a church that is experiencing rapid growth. This claim is made because many Apostolic churches have been built around the world. The church continued the spirit of the apostles at the time of the early church's birth. However, it is important to conduct an in-depth study regarding the realization in the field; whether a thriving Apostolic church is carrying out God's mission or the personal ambition of a charismatic church leader. This study analyzes how the church which is said to be an Apostolic church runs its organization so that it experiences significant growth. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The researcher tries to explore the phenomena and data obtained through respondents about the transformative apostolic church that was developed in the ministry of the Indonesian Bethel Church of Gatot Subroto. In conclusion, GBI Gatot Subroto is a transformative apostolic church, because of several things, such as a visionary church, senior pastors or mentor pastors as apostolic leaders, divine authority and the work of the Holy Spirit have an impact, the church as a center for leadership training and discipleship across generations implements apostolic ministry followed by other gifts/services, prioritizing mission, and focusing on the Kingdom of God.AbstrakPeter Wagner, sebagai salah satu ahli pertumbuhan gereja, menyatakan bahwa gereja Apostolik adalah gereja yang mengalami pertumbuhan secara pesat. Klaim ini disampaikan karena banyak-nya terbangun gereja-gereja beraliran Apostolik di seluruh dunia. Gereja tersebut melanjutkan semangat para rasul pada masa lahirnya gereja mula-mula. Namun, penting untuk dilakukan kajian mendalam terkait realisasi di lapangan; apakah gereja Apostolik yang berkembang menja-lankan misi Allah atau ambisi pribadi dari pemimpin gereja yang berkharismatik. Penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana gereja yang dikatakan sebagai gereja Apostolik menjalankan organisa-sinya, sehingga mengalami pertumbuhan yang signifikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Peneliti berusaha mengeksplorasi fenomena dan data-data yang diperoleh melalui responden tentang gereja apostolik transformatif yang dikembangkan dalam pelayanan Gereja Bethel Indonesia Gatot Subroto. Kesimpu-lannya, GBI Gatot Subroto adalah gereja apostolik transformatif, karena beberapa hal, seperti: gereja yang visioner, gembala senior atau gembala pembina sebagai pemimpin kerasulan, otoritas Ilahi dan pekerjaan Roh Kudus berdampak, gereja sebagai pusat pelatihan kepemimpinan dan pemuridan lintas generasi, menerap-kan jawatan rasuli diikuti karunia-karunia/jawatan lainnya, memprioritaskan misi, dan berfokus pada Kerajaan Allah

    Destructive Leadership in State and Religion: An Exegetical Study of Hosea 7:1–16

    Leadership has always been an unresolved problem across time or space. Balancing destructive leadership practices is essential especially in the context of religion and the state. Changes in models occur to answer the need for effective and relevant leaders. Various models of leadership are attested including servant leadership, transactional leadership, supportive leadership, laissez-faire leadership, transformational leadership and other positive leadership. The importance of a positive model in bringing full awareness to leaders in carrying out the leadership mandate is emphasised in this essay. The study focuses on the definition of destructive leadership and destructive leadership models practised by Israelite leaders during the ministry of Prophet Hosea in the eighth century B.C.E based on the text of Hosea 7:1-16. A destructive leader is described as one who negatively influences his followers. The negative influence may lead to the destruction of the organisation he/she leads. The destructive leadership model found in Hosea 7:1-16 is not integrity-oriented but power-oriented and individual-oriented.     Media Pembelajaran Kartu Poin dalam Meningkatkan Minat Belajar dan Kedisiplinan Siswa pada Pembelajaran PAK

    Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di sekolah ini bertujuan untuk mendorong peningkatan kualitas minat belajar dan sikap disiplin siswa kelas VII melalui media pembelajaran kartu poin di SMP Negeri 7 Bonti. Subyek kegiatan ini adalah siswa yang duduk di kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Bonti, di mana sembilan siswa digunakan sebagai subjek yang menerima tindakan. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan menekankan pada pemberian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan dan pengisian lembar evaluasi yang dilakukan siswa pada akhir pertemuan. Hasil kegiatan KKN yang telah dilaksanakan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan minat belajar dan kedisiplinan siswa duduk di kelas VII. Terdapat perubahan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan dari kondisi awal dan situasi akhir melalui media pembelajaran kartu poin. Rata-rata siswa mengalami peningkatan kedisiplinan dan prestasi belajar yang terlihat dengan mulai rutin membawa alkitab, berpakaian rapi, aktif bertanya dan mengemukakan pendapat, serta kerjasama yang baik antar anggota kelompok dan pencapaian KKM dalam pembelajaran di kelas

    Transcription factor NRF2 as a therapeutic target for chronic diseases: a systems medicine approach

    Systems medicine has a mechanism-based rather than a symptom- or organ-based approach to disease and identifies therapeutic targets in a nonhypothesis-driven manner. In this work, we apply this to transcription factor nuclear factor (erythroid-derived 2)-like 2 (NRF2) by cross-validating its position in a protein-protein interaction network (the NRF2 interactome) functionally linked to cytoprotection in low-grade stress, chronic inflammation, metabolic alterations, and reactive oxygen species formation. Multiscale network analysis of these molecular profiles suggests alterations of NRF2 expression and activity as a common mechanism in a subnetwork of diseases (the NRF2 diseasome). This network joins apparently heterogeneous phenotypes such as autoimmune, respiratory, digestive, cardiovascular, metabolic, and neurodegenerative diseases, along with cancer. Importantly, this approach matches and confirms in silico several applications for NRF2-modulating drugs validated in vivo at different phases of clinical development. Pharmacologically, their profile is as diverse as electrophilic dimethyl fumarate, synthetic triterpenoids like bardoxolone methyl and sulforaphane, protein-protein or DNA-protein interaction inhibitors, and even registered drugs such as metformin and statins, which activate NRF2 and may be repurposed for indications within the NRF2 cluster of disease phenotypes. Thus, NRF2 represents one of the first targets fully embraced by classic and systems medicine approaches to facilitate both drug development and drug repurposing by focusing on a set of disease phenotypes that appear to be mechanistically linked. The resulting NRF2 drugome may therefore rapidly advance several surprising clinical options for this subset of chronic diseases

    Effective education provides positive energy to humans as an effort to realize it. However, it is a shame because, lately, educational phenomena are still trapped in the black area. Spaces for discussion, debate, and freedom of thought are reduced to the mere fulfillment of the curriculum. Conditions like this place students as passive objects. This study aims to reveal the principles of liberating education in Christian religious education. This study uses library research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Empirical facts provide evidence that the implementation of education at this time is still conventional. Paulo Freire critically and transformatively breaks through the deadlock in education due to the interference of power and owners of capital by offering revolutionary, philosophical, and reflective concepts and approaches on how humans should be educated to become truly human beings who are aware of their existence and work in the concrete world. This condition can be realize through the application of educational dialectics. The solution recommendation from this research is applying the dialectical method in the educational process as the best way to present superior individuals who understand educational institutions as public spaces where all kinds of perspectives resolve through rigid discourse. Pendidikan efektif memberikan energi positif kepada manusia sebagai upaya mewujudkan. Namun patut disayangkan karena ternyata belakangan ini masih ditemukan fenomena pendidikan yang terjebak di area hitam. Ruang-ruang diskusi, debat, dan kebebasan berpikir direduksi sebatas pemenuhan kurikulum semata. Kondisi seperti ini menempatkan peserta didik sebagai objek pasif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan prinsip pendidikan yang membebaskan dalam pendidikan agama Kristen. Penelitian ini menggunakan riset perpustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Fakta empiris memberi bukti bahwa pelaksanaan pendidikan di saat ini masih konvensional. Paulo Freire secara kritis dan transformatif menerobos kebuntuan pendidikan akibat campur tangan kekuasaan dan pemilik modal dengan menawarakan konsep dan pendekatan revolusioner, filosofis dan reflektif tentang bagaimana manusia seharusnya dididik menjadi benar-benar manusia yang sadar akan eksistensi dan kiprahnya dalam dunia konkretnya. Kondisi ini dapat diwujudkan melalui penerapan dialektika pendidikan. Rekomendasi solutif dari penelitian ini yakni penerapan metode dialetika dalam proses pendidikan sebagai jalan terbaik untuk menghadirkan pribadi unggul yang memahami lembaga pendidikan sebagai ruang publik di mana segala macam perspektif dituntaskan melalui diskursus yang rigid

Sukendar 3), Abu Bakar Tawali 3)\ud \ud RINGKASAN\ud Telah dilakukan penelitian pengaruh tingkat suhu penggorengan pada kondisi vakum terhadap kualitas cabai keriting kering yang dihasilkan, sebagai alternatif baru upaya pengawetan cabai. Sampel cabai keriting segar dilakukan penggorengan pada tiga tingkat suhu yaitu 950C, 1050C dan 1150C dengan kondisi vakum yang sama. Ketiga produk tersebut diupayakan memiliki kadar air yang relatif sama yaitu 9,12% - 10,82%. Indikator kerusakan maupun penurunan mutu cabai kering didasarkan pada parameter vitamin C, intensitas warna, tingkat kepedasan, kadar minyak dan rendemen cabai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggorengan pada suhu 1050C menghasilkan produk yang bermutu relatif lebih baik berdasarkan tingkat penurunan yang relatif rendah untuk kadar vitamin C, intensitas warna, tingkat kepedasan, dengan kadar minyak yang relatif rendah. Penggorengan pada suhu tertinggi yakni 1150C menghasilkan cabai kering berkadar minyak tinggi yaitu 45% dibanding 21% pada suhu 1050C.\ud \ud Kata kunci : Cabai Keriting Kering, Vakum Frying, Vitamin C, Intensitas Warna, Tingkat Kepedasan, Kadar Minya

    Worry is a common feeling that nearly every individual has faced throughout human history. Psychological research has generally shown that worry has a negative impact on both the mental and physical well-being of individuals. There is an implicit call in the belief that humans should not excessively worry about their lives, as found in the text of Matthew 6:25-34. This research seeks to reexamine worry through an interdisciplinary approach, involving its psychological aspects. The Gospel of Matthew is approached through hermeneutic analysis while simultaneously considering its psychological facets, which is referred to as 'interdisciplinary interpretation.' The culmination of this interdisciplinary meeting results in the thesis statement that the text of Matthew 6:25-34, when interpreted through an interdisciplinary lens, teaches that worry, though common to human experience, can be managed and overcome. This interpretive finding subsequently provides a proposal for the development of a Christian pastoral counseling approach to assist individuals in managing their worries.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang satu model blended learning untuk pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Secara kualitatif-deskriptif disampaikan berbagai keunggulan dari model blended learning yang sudah diterapkan di berbagai sekolah di dalam dan di luar negeri. Hasil studi literatur menunjukkan bahwa model blended learning menunjukkan berbagai keunggulan saat diterapkan dalam berbagai mata pelajaran eksakta maupun sosial, baik untuk pendidikan dasar, pendidikan tinggi dan pendidikan kejuruan.     Ethyl Rosmarinate Prevents the Impairment of Vascular Function and Morphological Changes in L-NAME-Induced Hypertensive Rats

    Background and Objectives: The potent, endothelium-independent, vasorelaxant effect of ethyl rosmarinate, an ester derivative of rosmarinic acid, makes it of interest as an alternative therapeutic agent for use in hypertension. This study was designed to investigate the effect of ethyl rosmarinate on Nω-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester (L-NAME)-induced hypertensive rats. Materials and Methods: L-NAME was given orally to male Wistar rats for 6 weeks to induce hypertension concurrently with treatment of ethyl rosmarinate at 5, 15, or 30 mg/kgor enalapril at 10 mg/kg Systolic blood pressure (SBP), heart rate, and body weight of all experimental groups were recorded weekly, while the vascular sensitivity and histological changes of the aorta were evaluated at the end of the experiment. Results: For all treatment groups, the data indicated that ethyl rosmarinate significantly attenuated the SBP in hypertensive rats induced by L-NAME, with no significant differences in heart rate and body weight. In addition, the response of vascular sensitivity to acetylcholine (ACh) was improved but there was no significant difference in the response to sodium nitroprusside (SNP). Furthermore, the sensitivity of the aorta to phenylephrine (PE) was significantly decreased. The thickness of the aortic wall did not differ between groups but the expression of endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) was increased in ethyl rosmarinate- and enalapril-treated groups compared with the hypertensive group. Conclusions: Ethyl rosmarinate is an interesting candidate as an alternative treatment for hypertension due to its ability to improve vascular function and to increase the expression of eNOS similar to enalapril which is a drug commonly used in hypertension
