The Galactic extinction and reddening from the South Galactic Cap U-band Sky Survey: u band galaxy number counts and color distribution
We study the integral Galactic extinction and reddening based on the galaxy
catalog of the South Galactic Cap U-band Sky Survey (SCUSS), where band
galaxy number counts and color distribution are used to derive the
Galactic extinction and reddening respectively. We compare these independent
statistical measurements with the reddening map of \citet{Schlegel1998}(SFD)
and find that both the extinction and reddening from the number counts and
color distribution are in good agreement with the SFD results at low extinction
regions ( mag). However, for high extinction regions
( mag), the SFD map overestimates the Galactic reddening
systematically, which can be approximated by a linear relation ]. By combing the results of galaxy number counts and
color distribution together, we find that the shape of the Galactic extinction
curve is in good agreement with the standard extinction law of

Recent Advances in Evaluation Tools and Associated Factors for Patient Delay in Chronic Disease Patients
Patient delay will lead to increased risk of complications, reduced treatment effectiveness and lowered quality of life in chronic disease patients. Early identifying individuals with chronic diseases at high risk of patient delay, and timely delivering targeted interventions to them may greatly improve current status of patient delay in this population. Based on a literature review, we systematically summarized several major evaluation tools (including Barriers to Access to Care Evaluation scale, Perceived Barriers to Health Care-seeking Decision, Stroke Pre-Hospital Delay Behavior Intention scale, Diabetes Mellitus Diagnosis and Treatment Delayed Cognitive Behavioral Intention Scale, and Attitudes toward Medical Help-seeking Scale developed by Fisher et al.) for patient delay in chronic disease patients, and analyzed controllable (mental and cognitive) and uncontrollable (sociodemographic and disease-specific) factors associated with patient delay, offering evidence for the assessment of patient delay and development of relevant interventions. We found that the applicability and clinical application rate of these tools are low, and their predictive efficacy and threshold have been rarely studied, and patient delay may be significantly associated with patients' insufficient knowledge of the disease, low economic level and low social support
Analysis of Current Conditions and Strategic Recommendations for Cultural Partnerships to Enhance Political and Economic Development Within the SCO Framework
Amidst the escalating global geopolitical uncertainties, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), as a significant constructive force in international and regional matters, advocates the "Shanghai Spirit" and leverages its wealth of effective regional governance experience. This provides a localized approach to addressing challenges within the current global governance framework. While much emphasis is placed on cooperation in political and economic spheres, cultural collaboration among SCO member states receives less attention. Exploring the present state of cultural cooperation and communication among these member states, along with identifying existing challenges, can enhance mutual understanding and cultural exchanges. Strengthening cultural ties can serve as a bridge, facilitating solutions to various issues in political and economic arenas and fostering strategic trust and deep mutual recognition among SCO members. In essence, by focusing on the cultural dimension, the SCO can enrich its multifaceted cooperation, promoting a more comprehensive and resilient partnership that addresses both traditional and emerging challenges in the region. This approach underscores the importance of cultural diplomacy in reinforcing the SCO's role as a stabilizinginfluence in an increasingly complex global environment

Efficacy and Prognosis of HA380 Perfusion Combined with Continuous Venovenous Hemofiltration in the Treatment of Sepsis
Background: Effect of HA380 perfusion combined with continuous venovenous hemofiltration (CVVH) on sepsis and prognosis. Methods: 60 patients with sepsis admitted to our hospital from November 2020 to March 2022 were selected as the research objects and divided into two groups by simple random method. The two groups were given medical treatment according to the sepsis diagnosis and treatment guidelines jointly issued by the American Society of Critical Care Medicine and the European Society of Critical Care Medicine. The control group was treated with CVVH, and the observation group was treated with HA380 perfusion combined with CVVH. Results: Intestinal fatty acid binding protein, diamine oxidase, D-lactic acid, interleukin-6, tumor necrosis factor-α, endotoxin, C-reaction protein, white blood cell, procalcitonin, blood lactic acid, serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, bilirubin, intra-abdominal pressure, one-day body temperature peak, sequential organ function score at 24 h, 48 h, and 72 h after treatment were lower than those at baseline, mean arterial pressure and oxygenation index were higher than those at baseline, with statistical significance (p < 0.05). Conclusion: HA380 perfusion combined with CVVH in the treatment of sepsis can reduce intestinal barrier function damage and inflammation, and improve short-term prognosis. Clinical Trial Registration: Chinese clinical trial registry. Number: ChiCTR2400082281
Severe early onset preeclampsia: short and long term clinical, psychosocial and biochemical aspects
Preeclampsia is a pregnancy specific disorder commonly defined as de novo hypertension
and proteinuria after 20 weeks gestational age. It occurs in approximately 3-5% of pregnancies and it is still a major cause of both foetal and maternal morbidity and mortality worldwide1. As extensive research has not yet elucidated the aetiology of preeclampsia, there are no rational preventive or therapeutic interventions
available. The only rational treatment is delivery, which benefits the mother but is not in the interest of the foetus, if remote from term. Early onset preeclampsia (<32 weeks’ gestational age) occurs in less than 1% of pregnancies. It is, however often associated with maternal morbidity as the risk of progression
to severe maternal disease is inversely related with gestational age at onset2. Resulting prematurity is therefore the main cause of neonatal mortality and morbidity
in patients with severe preeclampsia3. Although the discussion is ongoing, perinatal survival is suggested to be increased in patients with preterm preeclampsia
by expectant, non-interventional management. This temporising treatment option to lengthen pregnancy includes the use of antihypertensive medication to control hypertension, magnesium sulphate to prevent eclampsia and corticosteroids
to enhance foetal lung maturity4. With optimal maternal haemodynamic status and reassuring foetal condition this results on average in an extension of 2 weeks. Prolongation of these pregnancies is a great challenge for clinicians to balance between potential maternal risks on one the eve hand and possible foetal benefits on the other. Clinical controversies regarding prolongation of preterm preeclamptic pregnancies still exist – also taking into account that preeclampsia is the leading cause of maternal mortality in the Netherlands5 - a debate which is even more pronounced in very preterm pregnancies with questionable foetal viability6-9. Do maternal risks of prolongation of these very early pregnancies outweigh
the chances of neonatal survival? Counselling of women with very early onset preeclampsia not only comprises of knowledge of the outcome of those particular pregnancies, but also knowledge of outcomes of future pregnancies of these women is of major clinical importance.
This thesis opens with a review of the literature on identifiable risk factors of preeclampsia
Penilaian Kinerja Keuangan Koperasi di Kabupaten Pelalawan
This paper describe development and financial performance of cooperative in District Pelalawan among 2007 - 2008. Studies on primary and secondary cooperative in 12 sub-districts. Method in this stady use performance measuring of productivity, efficiency, growth, liquidity, and solvability of cooperative. Productivity of cooperative in Pelalawan was highly but efficiency still low. Profit and income were highly, even liquidity of cooperative very high, and solvability was good
