ABSTRACT Our country, Korea, lacks the per capita water endowment because of the high population density and geographical characteristics. Therefore, The 4 Rivers Project has been promoted since 2009. In order to control effectively drought or floods caused by abnormal climate and strong rainfall in summer, it was done and completed in 2013. The Nakdong River is the longest in the 4 Rivers Project, which it was conducted among the country\u27s major rivers, and a lot of hydraulic structures were installed. we selected Nakdong and Weagwan stations which are located in the Nakdong River. Because the change was smaller there with the inflow of tributaries flow than elsewhere. And many hydraulic structures were installed between Nakdong and Weagwan stations, which used T/M machine to collect real-time data. In this study, we compared and analyzed the flow change of real-time and water level data of prior to weir installation on May, June, July, 2009 and completion of weir installation on May, June, July , 2013. The original purpose of installing the weir is well-kept. After installation of Hydraulic structures(weir), the discharge difference between the Nakdong Station and Weagwan Station was reduced , and both of Nakdong and Weagwan stations are almost maintain a constant value of water level without being affected by rainfall. Also, we could confirm that the maximum water-level variation is decreased after installation of the weir. Based on this, we judged that hydrological effects on drought or floods due to abnormal weather were decreased by the time of weir installation. Eurasian tree sparrow data from the 4th National Ecosystem Survey (2014 ~ 2018) were used for sparrows, which are known to decrease by about one third over 40 years. Data on altitude and land type among GIS factors in the Eurasian tree sparrow Recorded 6 Metropolitan City(Incheon, Daejeon, Daegu, Gwangju, Ulsan, Busan) of Republic of Korea were generated. As a result, altitudes and land types were generated for 578 Eurasian tree sparrow

Effect of High-Temperature Annealing on Ion-Implanted Silicon Solar Cells

P-type and n-type wafers were implanted with phosphorus and boron, respectively, for emitter formation and were annealed subsequently at 950∼1050∘C for 30∼90 min for activation. Boron emitters were activated at 1000∘C or higher, while phosphorus emitters were activated at 950∘C. QSSPC measurements show that the implied Voc of boron emitters increases about 15 mV and the J01 decreases by deep junction annealing even after the activation due to the reduced recombination in the emitter. However, for phosphorus emitters the implied Voc decreases from 622 mV to 560 mV and the J01 increases with deep junction annealing. This is due to the abrupt decrease in the bulk lifetime of the p-type wafer itself from 178 μs to 14 μs. PC1D simulation based on these results shows that, for p-type implanted solar cells, increasing the annealing temperature and time abruptly decreases the efficiency (Δηabs=−1.3%), while, for n-type implanted solar cells, deep junction annealing increases the efficiency and Voc, especially (Δηabs=+0.4%) for backside emitter solar cells

This paper describe development and financial performance of cooperative in District Pelalawan among 2007 - 2008. Studies on primary and secondary cooperative in 12 sub-districts. Method in this stady use performance measuring of productivity, efficiency, growth, liquidity, and solvability of cooperative. Productivity of cooperative in Pelalawan was highly but efficiency still low. Profit and income were highly, even liquidity of cooperative very high, and solvability was good

Juxtaposing BTE and ATE – on the role of the European insurance industry in funding civil litigation

One of the ways in which legal services are financed, and indeed shaped, is through private insurance arrangement. Two contrasting types of legal expenses insurance contracts (LEI) seem to dominate in Europe: before the event (BTE) and after the event (ATE) legal expenses insurance. Notwithstanding institutional differences between different legal systems, BTE and ATE insurance arrangements may be instrumental if government policy is geared towards strengthening a market-oriented system of financing access to justice for individuals and business. At the same time, emphasizing the role of a private industry as a keeper of the gates to justice raises issues of accountability and transparency, not readily reconcilable with demands of competition. Moreover, multiple actors (clients, lawyers, courts, insurers) are involved, causing behavioural dynamics which are not easily predicted or influenced. Against this background, this paper looks into BTE and ATE arrangements by analysing the particularities of BTE and ATE arrangements currently available in some European jurisdictions and by painting a picture of their respective markets and legal contexts. This allows for some reflection on the performance of BTE and ATE providers as both financiers and keepers. Two issues emerge from the analysis that are worthy of some further reflection. Firstly, there is the problematic long-term sustainability of some ATE products. Secondly, the challenges faced by policymakers that would like to nudge consumers into voluntarily taking out BTE LEI

Search for stop and higgsino production using diphoton Higgs boson decays

Results are presented of a search for a "natural" supersymmetry scenario with gauge mediated symmetry breaking. It is assumed that only the supersymmetric partners of the top-quark (stop) and the Higgs boson (higgsino) are accessible. Events are examined in which there are two photons forming a Higgs boson candidate, and at least two b-quark jets. In 19.7 inverse femtobarns of proton-proton collision data at sqrt(s) = 8 TeV, recorded in the CMS experiment, no evidence of a signal is found and lower limits at the 95% confidence level are set, excluding the stop mass below 360 to 410 GeV, depending on the higgsino mass
