The aim of the article is to study the features of ship repair production and, accordingly, develop recommendations for the composition of the functions of the project management office, its structure and stages of development. The characteristics of ship repair production, which determine its features and the structure of management of a ship repair enterprise, are systematically presented. The subject of the study is the models and methods of project management, programs and project portfolios of ship repair enterprises. The object of the study is the corporate project management system of a ship repair enterprise. The project-oriented nature of ship repair production, combined with a high degree of uncertainty in the planning and implementation of ship repair projects, identifies the need to use deterministic network models with a probabilistic estimate of the duration of work. To reduce risks in conditions of uncertainty, it is proposed to use Agile technologies, which organically complement the matrix organizational structure of a ship repair enterprise and ensure effective cooperation with the customer and the success of the business as a whole. The creation of a project management office is proposed to be implemented as a development system that includes four stages of maturity. The key functions of the project management office at each stage of development have been formulated. The role of the information model of the vessel in the implementation of the 6D design methodology, which provides monitoring during the operation of the vessel, predicting the degree of wear of the vessel's elements over time, is justified. The MS Project Standard package allows building interfaces with the information model of the vessel to obtain the parameters of the hull structures, characteristics of the mechanisms and equipment of the vessel, as well as recommendations for repair technology. An important function of the project management office is to participate in the strategic management of project portfolios. To implement this function in the enterprise management system, certain prerequisites for the development of portfolio management must be formed: a formalized strategy, metrics for evaluating projects for compliance with the strategy, a certain culture of management decisions. The duration of vessel repair determines the time of decommissioning. This important strategic indicator is the basis for the formulation of BS (balanced scorecard). An important task of the project management office is to implement feedback and provide information on the status of achieving the planned indicators at all levels of enterprise management. The structure of the function and tools of the project management office are determined by the management of the enterprise depending on the number and complexity of the ship repair projects, level of development of the corporate information system of the enterprise, availability of specialists with appropriate qualifications. The project management office will provide effective communication between project management and functional services of the enterprise, which will significantly improve the quality of the enterprise management system as a whole. The organization of the project management office in the management system of the ship repair enterprise will ensure the effective allocation of resources for projects, accounting for available resources of the enterprise, coordination of goals and tasks of individual projects with strategic plans of the enterprise. All this is aimed at reducing costs and increasing the competitiveness of the ship repair enterprise

    Quantum dynamics using path integral coarse-graining

    Vibrational spectra of condensed and gas-phase systems containing light nuclei are influenced by their quantum-mechanical behaviour. The quantum dynamics of light nuclei can be approximated by the imaginary time path integral (PI) formulation, but still at a large computational cost that increases sharply with decreasing temperature. By leveraging advances in machine-learned coarse-graining, we develop a PI method with the reduced computational cost of a classical simulation. We also propose a simple temperature elevation scheme to significantly attenuate the artefacts of standard PI approaches and also eliminate the unfavourable temperature scaling of the computational cost.We illustrate the approach, by calculating vibrational spectra using standard models of water molecules and bulk water, demonstrating significant computational savings and dramatically improved accuracy compared to more expensive reference approaches. We believe that our simple, efficient and accurate method could enable routine calculations of vibrational spectra including nuclear quantum effects for a wide range of molecular systems.Comment: 9 pages; 4 figure

В основі проєкту залучення логістичного оператора перебуває проєктування бізнес-процесів кластеру з використанням SADT-моделювання, формування інформаційної бази ресурсів, реалізація процесу функціонування та моніторинг, де координатором є логістичний центр.The aim of the article is to study the features of the operating system, shipbuilding production management system and develop a mechanism for involving a logistics operator on the basis of outsourcing services in the shipbuilding cluster system. The work presents the characteristics of shipbuilding, identifies the features of project management at the enterprise. The subject of the study is the methods and models of logistics management of the shipbuilding cluster system. The object of the study is the logistics system of project management in the shipbuilding cluster system. Logistics in project management of shipbuilding enterprises is determined by a large number of flow processes and associated complex information links. The logistics system covers the entire resource-functional range of flow processes, taking into account the stages of the project life cycle. For domestic shipbuilding and ship repair enterprises, cluster integration is one of the most accessible ways to implement a global strategy in achieving competitive positions in international markets. Modern logistics requirements are forcing companies to seek a compromise to compensate for the growing demands of production. Outsourcing is the transfer of part of the business process by enterprises to outsourcers on a subcontract basis. The logistics operator 4PL, which is engaged on the basis of outsourcing, integrates the business processes of shipbuilding companies involved in the supply chain using electronic media. The coordinator is the logistics center, which, using modern equipment, allows logistics operators to offer a comprehensive package of services with high quality parameters

The essence and features of the shipbuilding cluster systems have been considered. The mechanisms of the organization of shipbuilding clusters are analyzed as well as the indicators of the effectiveness of their operation. The research aim is to develop the principles for the organization of the shipbuilding cluster system and use the models as a logistics tool in order to develop and operate the shipbuilding cluster system. A scheme of the functional decomposition of the shipbuilding cluster of operating system is developed. The competitive factors of the developed shipbuilding cluster system are: total cost of the design and construction of the vessel; turnaround time for construction of the vessel; quality of the product; required level of the technical maturity of the cluster members. The balance model should be used for planning the budget revenues. The properly constructed balanced scorecard, supported by the special software, allows each participant cluster focusing their resources (financial, human, technological, informational ones) on the implementation of the strategy and ensuring the steady traffic of your goals

The basic mechanism elements of the proactive management of ship repair enterprises are described. The research aim is to develop the basic mechanism elements of the proactive management of ship repair enterprises. The range of monitoring indicators of the production processes taking into account the features of the ship repair manufacturing is proved. The principles of implementation of controlling processes based on the budgeting system and earned value method are proposed. There are four approaches for implementation of the controlling system: a simple variance analysis of actual results from the planned ones; a budgeting control of the department with the elements of the factor variance analysis; a strategic approach to the variance analysis; a variance analysis taking into account the uncertainty. The recommendations on the information system structure which provides the implementation of the proactive management mechanism are proposed. Along with the introduction of the proactive management elements it is advisable to save the traditional schemes of management decisions, i.e. it is necessary to maintain a balance between the proactivity and reactivity in terms of resources cost

    Navigating protein landscapes with a machine-learned transferable coarse-grained model

    The most popular and universally predictive protein simulation models employ all-atom molecular dynamics (MD), but they come at extreme computational cost. The development of a universal, computationally efficient coarse-grained (CG) model with similar prediction performance has been a long-standing challenge. By combining recent deep learning methods with a large and diverse training set of all-atom protein simulations, we here develop a bottom-up CG force field with chemical transferability, which can be used for extrapolative molecular dynamics on new sequences not used during model parametrization. We demonstrate that the model successfully predicts folded structures, intermediates, metastable folded and unfolded basins, and the fluctuations of intrinsically disordered proteins while it is several orders of magnitude faster than an all-atom model. This showcases the feasibility of a universal and computationally efficient machine-learned CG model for proteins
