Allergy published by European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and John Wiley & Sons Ltd.This update and revision of the international guideline for urticaria was developed following the methods recommended by Cochrane and the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) working group. It is a joint initiative of the Dermatology Section of the European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), the Global Allergy and Asthma European Network (GA(2)LEN) and its Urticaria and Angioedema Centers of Reference and Excellence (UCAREs and ACAREs), the European Dermatology Forum (EDF; EuroGuiDerm), and the Asia Pacific Association of Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology with the participation of 64 delegates of 50 national and international societies and from 31 countries. The consensus conference was held on 3 December 2020. This guideline was acknowledged and accepted by the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). Urticaria is a frequent, mast cell-driven disease that presents with wheals, angioedema, or both. The lifetime prevalence for acute urticaria is approximately 20%. Chronic spontaneous or inducible urticaria is disabling, impairs quality of life, and affects performance at work and school. This updated version of the international guideline for urticaria covers the definition and classification of urticaria and outlines expert-guided and evidence-based diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for the different subtypes of urticaria.Peer reviewe

Intrusion detection systems for IP telephony networks

Intrusion detection systems (IDS) provide security for network systems. They are used in computer networks to detect violations against security policies or unusual events that could lead towards a security thread. Telephone networks based on the internet protocol (IP) called IP telephony (IPT) are a recent development in network usage and will become a common application in the next years as they can provide integrated services based on telephony communications. We identify IPT security demands as well as risks and analyze the possibility of adding IDS concepts to IPT systems. Digital audio watermarking is a technology able to provide different security aspects in this context. The combination of classic IDS and audio watermarking leads to new and promising way of user and data authentication and monitoring of calls

Aus den folgenden 29 LĂ€ndern liegen Antworten vor: A/Österreich, B/Belgien, BY/Weißrussland, CH/Schweiz, MOL/Moldawien, CZ/Tschechische Republik, D/Deutschland, DK/DĂ€nemark, E/Spanien, RUS/Russische Föderation, EW/Estland, F/Frankreich, GB/England, GR/Griechenland, NL/Niederlande, H/Ungarn, I/Italien, IR/Irland, IS/Island, SF/Finnland, L/Luxemburg, LT/Litauen, LV/Lettland, N/Norwegen, SK/Slowakei, S/Schweden, P/Portugal, PL/Polen, RO/RumĂ€nien. In order to obtain a driving licence, driver instruction and examination are required in the countries of Europe. However, each country has its own driver instruction and examination system. The knowledge about the requirements applying in the various countries, if any, has been fairly limited thus far. On the occasion of an international workshop organized by OECD, the Federal Highway Research Institute (BASt) gathered information of fundamental importance about driver instruction systems for passenger cars (class B according to the international classification system). The information was collected by means of questionnaires distributed to the ministries or research Institutes responsible for driver instruction in all European countries. Replies were obtained from the following 29 countries: A/Austria, B/Belgium, BY/Belarus, CH/Switzerland, MO/Moldova, CZ/Czech Republic, D/Germany, DK/Denmark, E/Spain, RUS/Russia, EW/Estonia, F/France, GB/Great Britain, GR/Greece, NU/the Netherlands, H/Hungary, I/Italy, IR/Ireland, IS/Island, SF/Finland, L/Luxembourg, LT/Lithuania, LV/Latvia, N/Norway, SK/Slovakia, S/Sweden, P/Portugal, P/Poland, RO/Romania. The report contains information an eight different subjects: - Requirements to be satisfied in order to obtain a driving licence and formal procedures - Theoretical instruction - Practical instruction - Instruction by laypersons - Driver examination - Qualification of driving instructors - Supervision of driving schools and driver instruction - Organizational structure of the driving licence system. The results .are represented in tabular form to facilitate getting the replies of the country of interest at a glance. In addition, there are detailed descriptions of each country's system
