In this thesis a comparative study of user satisfaction in the district of Los Olivos of the metropolitan transportation system with informal transport was conducted on survey method required in this study to compare the differences, based on points of comfort, safety, coverage, and time. Surveys obtained from a sample of 300 respondents showed us a good acceptance to the metropolitan transport system. The Metropolitan is an orderly transport system that complies with the points of the survey opposing the informal. However, the analysis it was determined that even being an innovative system does not meet some points, such as coverage and waiting times at bus stops that have informal acceptance. This study according to the results obtained, determined to need improvement to meet the demand from users in this district by Metropolitan to reduce waiting times at bus stops. It is recommended to increase the supply of units and reduce waiting times at every bus stop, so that the informality of transport disappears.Tesi

First spectral emissivity study of a solar selective coating in the 150–600 1C temperature range

A complete experimental study of temperature dependence of the total spectral emissivity has been performed, for the first time, for absorber–reflector selective coatings used in concentrated solar power (CSP) systems for energy harvesting. The coating consist of double cermet layers of silicon oxide with different amounts of molybdenum over a silver infrared mirror layer. The experimental measurements were carried out by a high accurate radiometer (HAIRL) with controlled atmosphere in the mid-infrared and for temperatures between 150 and 600 1C. The spectral emissivity is nearly constant in this temperature range. Therefore, the temperature dependence of the total emissivity is given by Planck function. These results were compared with those obtained with the usual calculus using room temperature reflectance spectrum. Finally, the performance of the coating was analyzed by comparison of coated respect to non-coated stainless steel.European Commission Project HITECO FP7-ENERGY-2010-1Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación CSD2008-00023Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación RyC2007-002

Report of autochthonous cases of localized cutaneous leishmaniasis caused by Leishmania (Leishmania) mexicana in vulnerable, susceptible areas of Southeastern Mexico

Localized cutaneous leishmaniasis (LCL) is an endemic disease in several Mexican States with the main endemic areas located in the South-Southeast region of the country, where 90% of Leishmania (Leishmania) mexicana cases are registered. The Southeast region is located in the Yucatan Peninsula, including Campeche, Quintana Roo and Yucatan States. Campeche and Quintana Roo register more than 60% of the cases in the country each year, while in Yucatan the reports are of imported cases due to residents traveling to endemic areas. However, since 2015, autochthonous cases have been diagnosed by health authorities in municipalities with no previous transmission records. We aimed to identify Leishmania parasite species involved in autochthonous cases by means of the PCR technique. The present study included 13 autochthonous cases of LCL with clinical and parasitological diagnoses during 2018 and 2019 by health authorities, without specific identification of the causal agent. Tissue samples were taken by scraping the margins of active lesions and then they were spotted onto an FTATM Elute Microcard. Next, DNA was eluted and used for PCR amplification of specific Leishmania genus and L. (L.) mexicana species-specific fragments. Molecular analysis showed evidence that L. (L.) mexicana was the causal agent of LCL in 12 of the 13 patients; in one patient, PCR was not performed due to the patient’s refusal to participate in the study. Identifying Leishmania species that cause LCL is necessary to define efficient treatment schemes and control strategies for the disease in vulnerable and susceptible areas of the Yucatan State’s municipalities
