The main objective of the project is based on the treatment and utilization of groundwater from the drilling work carried out in the pit of the Cerro Corona mining unit, and stored in the containment wells, in order to supply the resource water to the camp of the mining company Gold Fields and community of Hualgayoc for domestic use. Thus benefiting the workers of the camp of the mining company and the inhabitants of the Community. The project aims to improve the quality of the water that will enter the Coymolache Treatment Plant with a capacity of 10 LPS, considering that the water to be treated will come from wells PP-19 and PP-18 and obtain drinking water according to ECA Cat 1: A1 DIGESA DS Nº 031-2010-SA, where most of the chemical parameters are within the ECA Cat 1: A1 DIGESA. The project has proposed replacing the traditional water pre-treatment system with an ultrafiltration system, where the water treated by this method would feed the reverse osmosis membranes. In the first place, thanks to this substitution, the number of stages and therefore the volume of the plant is reduced, being able to reach production levels even higher than those that currently exist with a drastic reduction of the space intended for pretreatment. And second, and the main objective of the project, would be a reduction in costs of production derived from the decrease and even in some cases the elimination of the necessary chemical dosage. Energy savings due to the new pressure requirements and, as mentioned above, an increase in the life of the osmosis membranes as a consequence of a smaller size of the solids in the inlet stream, which reduces the number of washes. The new configuration, will respect the ideas of sustainability and respect for the environment, since being integrated into a water treatment plant, and being a modification of it, what is intended is to reduce the use of chemical products so that they will generate smaller amounts of polluting waste and will operate under conditions of pressure and temperature in some significantly lower cases

ICD Management (ICDM) tool for embedded systems on aircrafts

International audienceIn the scope of on-board systems development and integration for aircrafts, ICDs (Interface Control Document/Description) are fundamental sources of information at same level that the functional requirements. ICD description must include feasible (bus capacity not exceeded, processing load under specific limits) and accurate (data precision, data retransmission rate, data consistency) inter-connectivity mechanisms, to support the application requirements needs, as well as the information must be easy to update and to maintain. On the other hand, DOORS (IBM) is a tool specialized on requirements management. It faces with aspects as traceability, version control, security (access control), changes control, data persistency and accessibility. DOORS is widely used and it is recognized as a reference tool in the scope of aeronautic developments.Nevertheless, ICD information usually is not managed with DOORS. The reason can be found in the specificities of the nature of ICD information, which suggests other approaches more suitable than DOORS.The alternative approaches are very diverse but most of them focus on handling information typified according to specific meta-models for ICD: databases, customized spreadsheets, and tabular descriptions. But whatever is the solution, it must address also, by its own means, the features of ICD derived of its “requirement nature”.This paper presents a solution based on the integration of DOORS with a user front-end developed with Model Driven Architecture (MDA) and Open Source technologies. It is intended to provide means to manage ICD data in a robust way (guaranteeing the correctness -syntactic, completeness, non ambiguity- of data, changes, versions, dependencies, ...) and additionally, to provide mechanisms to focus the effort on the data transformation rather than on the manual elaboration of derived artefacts

Elliptic flow of muons from heavy-flavour hadron decays at forward rapidity in Pb-Pb collisions at root s(NN)=2.76TeV

The elliptic flow, v(2), of muons from heavy-flavour hadron decays at forward rapidity (2.5 <y <4) is measured in Pb-Pb collisions at root s(NN)= 2.76TeVwith the ALICE detector at the LHC. The scalar product, two- and four-particle Q cumulants and Lee-Yang zeros methods are used. The dependence of the v(2) of muons from heavy-flavour hadron decays on the collision centrality, in the range 0-40%, and on transverse momentum, p(T), is studied in the interval 3 <p(T)<10 GeV/c. A positive v(2) is observed with the scalar product and two-particle Q cumulants in semi-central collisions (10-20% and 20-40% centrality classes) for the p(T) interval from 3 to about 5GeV/c with a significance larger than 3 sigma, based on the combination of statistical and systematic uncertainties. The v(2) magnitude tends to decrease towards more central collisions and with increasing pT. It becomes compatible with zero in the interval 6 <p(T)<10 GeV/c. The results are compared to models describing the interaction of heavy quarks and open heavy-flavour hadrons with the high-density medium formed in high-energy heavy-ion collisions.
