Could Large CP Violation Be Detected at Colliders?
We argue that CP--violation effects below a few tenths of a percent are
probably undetectable at hadron and electron colliders. Thus only operators
whose contributions interfere with tree--level Standard Model amplitudes are
detectable. We list these operators for Standard Model external particles and
some two and three body final state reactions that could show detectable

Curvature in causal BD-type inflationary cosmology
We study a closed model of the universe filled with viscous fluid and
quintessence matter components in a Brans-Dicke type cosmological model. The
dynamical equations imply that the universe may look like an accelerated flat
Friedmann-Robertson-Walker universe at low redshift. We consider here
dissipative processes which follow a causal thermodynamics. The theory is
applied to viscous fluid inflation, where accepted values for the total entropy

Higgs-boson production associated with a bottom quark at hadron colliders with SUSY-QCD corrections
The Higgs boson production p p (p\bar p) -> b h +X via b g -> b h at the LHC,
which may be an important channel for testing the bottom quark Yukawa coupling,
is subject to large supersymmetric quantum corrections. In this work the
one-loop SUSY-QCD corrections to this process are evaluated and are found to be
quite sizable in some parameter space. We also study the behavior of the
corrections in the limit of heavy SUSY masses and find the remnant effects of
SUSY-QCD. These remnant effects, which are left over in the Higgs sector by the
heavy sparticles, are found to be so sizable (for a light CP-odd Higgs and
large \tan\beta) that they might be observable in the future LHC experiment.
The exploration of such remnant effects is important for probing SUSY,
especially in case that the sparticles are too heavy (above TeV) to be directly
discovered at the LHC.Comment: Results for the Tevatron adde

We study the top quark decay to b quark and W boson in the NonCommutative
Standard Model (NCSM). The lowest contribution to the decay comes from the
terms quadratic in the matrix describing the noncommutative (NC) effects while
the linear term is seen to identically vanish because of symmetry. The NC
effects are found to be significant only for low values of the NC

Centrality Behaviour of J/ Production in Na50
The J/ production in 158 A GeV Pb-Pb interactions is studied, in the
dimuon decay channel, as a function of centrality, as measured with the
electromagnetic or with the very forward calorimeters. After a first sharp
variation at mid centrality, both patterns continue to fall down and exhibit a
curvature change at high centrality values. This trend excludes any
conventional hadronic model and is in agreement with a deconfined quark-gluon
phase scenario. We report also preliminary results on the measured charged

Relating the CMSSM and SUGRA models with GUT scale and Super-GUT scale Supersymmetry Breaking
While the constrained minimal supersymmetric standard model (CMSSM) with
universal gaugino masses, m_{1/2}, scalar masses, m_0, and A-terms, A_0,
defined at some high energy scale (usually taken to be the GUT scale) is
motivated by general features of supergravity models, it does not carry all of
the constraints imposed by minimal supergravity (mSUGRA). In particular, the
CMSSM does not impose a relation between the trilinear and bilinear soft
supersymmetry breaking terms, B_0 = A_0 - m_0, nor does it impose the relation
between the soft scalar masses and the gravitino mass, m_0 = m_{3/2}. As a
consequence, tan(\beta) is computed given values of the other CMSSM input
parameters. By considering a Giudice-Masiero (GM) extension to mSUGRA, one can
introduce new parameters to the K\"ahler potential which are associated with
the Higgs sector and recover many of the standard CMSSM predictions. However,
depending on the value of A_0, one may have a gravitino or a neutralino dark
matter candidate. We also consider the consequences of imposing the
universality conditions above the GUT scale. This GM extension provides a

Multiwavelength studies of MHD waves in the solar chromosphere: An overview of recent results
The chromosphere is a thin layer of the solar atmosphere that bridges the
relatively cool photosphere and the intensely heated transition region and
corona. Compressible and incompressible waves propagating through the
chromosphere can supply significant amounts of energy to the interface region
and corona. In recent years an abundance of high-resolution observations from
state-of-the-art facilities have provided new and exciting ways of
disentangling the characteristics of oscillatory phenomena propagating through
the dynamic chromosphere. Coupled with rapid advancements in
magnetohydrodynamic wave theory, we are now in an ideal position to thoroughly
investigate the role waves play in supplying energy to sustain chromospheric
and coronal heating. Here, we review the recent progress made in
characterising, categorising and interpreting oscillations manifesting in the

Anisotropic flow of charged hadrons, pions and (anti-)protons measured at high transverse momentum in Pb-Pb collisions at TeV
The elliptic, , triangular, , and quadrangular, , azimuthal
anisotropic flow coefficients are measured for unidentified charged particles,
pions and (anti-)protons in Pb-Pb collisions at TeV
with the ALICE detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Results obtained with the
event plane and four-particle cumulant methods are reported for the
pseudo-rapidity range at different collision centralities and as a
function of transverse momentum, , out to GeV/.
The observed non-zero elliptic and triangular flow depends only weakly on
transverse momentum for GeV/. The small dependence
of the difference between elliptic flow results obtained from the event plane
and four-particle cumulant methods suggests a common origin of flow
fluctuations up to GeV/. The magnitude of the (anti-)proton
elliptic and triangular flow is larger than that of pions out to at least
GeV/ indicating that the particle type dependence persists out

Centrality dependence of charged particle production at large transverse momentum in Pb-Pb collisions at TeV
The inclusive transverse momentum () distributions of primary
charged particles are measured in the pseudo-rapidity range as a
function of event centrality in Pb-Pb collisions at
TeV with ALICE at the LHC. The data are presented in the range
GeV/ for nine centrality intervals from 70-80% to 0-5%.
The Pb-Pb spectra are presented in terms of the nuclear modification factor
using a pp reference spectrum measured at the same collision
energy. We observe that the suppression of high- particles strongly
depends on event centrality. In central collisions (0-5%) the yield is most
suppressed with at -7 GeV/. Above
GeV/, there is a significant rise in the nuclear modification
factor, which reaches for GeV/. In
peripheral collisions (70-80%), the suppression is weaker with almost independently of . The measured nuclear
