    Mangán mikroötvözős forraszanyag mikroszerkezetének vizsgálata elektrokémiai módszerekkel

    Jelen munkánk során magánnal adalékolt ón-ezüst-réz alapú ólommentes forraszanyag mikroszerkezetét hasonlítottuk össze hagyományos SAC305 (Sn96.5/Ag3/Cu0.5) forraszanyaggal. A 0,1 a 0,4 vagy 0,7 tömegszázalék mangánt tartalmazó forraszanyagból FR4-es hordozón kialakított tesztmintázaton, újraömlesztéses technológiával forraszdombokat hoztunk létre. A forraszdombokról keresztmetszeti csiszolatot készítettünk, melyeket energiadiszperzív spektrométerrel felszerelt pásztázó elektronmikroszkóppal vizsgáltuk. Speciális elektrokémiai maratási technológiát alkalmazva eltávolítottuk a forrasztott kötések keresztmetszeti csiszolatából a tiszta ón, hogy az intermetallikus finomszerkezetet láthatóvá tegyük. Az így feltárt mikroszerkezet sajátosságait vizsgáltuk a mangánt tartalmazó és hagyományos forraszok esetében. Magas mangán tartalmú kiválásokat láttunk a forrasz tömbi anyagában, melyek szemcsefinomító hatásuk révén hatást gyakorolhatnak a forrasztott kötés mechanikai tulajdonságaira. Továbbá a mangán hatással volt a kialakuló Cu6Sn5 intermetallikus struktúrák morfológiájára. A mangán tartalom hatására hosszú tűkristályszerű képződmények jelentek meg a tömbi anyag teljes térfogatában. Ezen kívül a az Ag3Sn intermetallikus vegyületek ahelyett, hogy ideális esetben a teljes térfogatot átszövő finom szerkezetet hoztak volna létre, a mangán tartalmú szemcsék közvetlen közelében formálódtak

    Post-Transcriptional Dynamics is Involved in Rapid Adaptation to Hypergravity in Jurkat T Cells

    The transcriptome of human immune cells rapidly reacts to altered gravity in a highly dynamic way. We could show in previous experiments that transcriptional patterns show profound adaption after seconds to minutes of altered gravity. To gain further insight into these transcriptional alteration and adaption dynamics, we conducted a highly standardized RNA-Seq experiment with human Jurkat T cells exposed to 9xg hypergravity for 3 and 15 min, respectively. We investigated the frequency with which individual exons were used during transcription and discovered that differential exon usage broadly appeared after 3 min and became less pronounced after 15 min. Additionally, we observed a shift in the transcript pool from coding towards non-coding transcripts. Thus, adaption of gravity-sensitive differentially expressed genes followed a dynamic transcriptional rebound effect. The general dynamics were compatible with previous studies on the transcriptional effects of short hypergravity on human immune cells and suggest that initial up-regulatory changes mostly result from increased elongation rates. The shift correlated with a general downregulation of the affected genes. All chromosome bands carried homogenous numbers of gravity-sensitive genes but showed a specific tendency towards up- or downregulation. Altered gravity affected transcriptional regulation throughout the entire genome, whereby the direction of differential expression was strongly dependent on the structural location in the genome. A correlation analysis with potential mediators of the early transcriptional response identified a link between initially upregulated genes with certain transcription factors. Based on these findings, we have been able to further develop our model of the transcriptional response to altered gravity

Their specificities are expected to influence both their business innovation modes and their impact on innovation output. In particular, we aim at identifying the specificities of PSTE in that the DUI mode alone (and its specific drivers) is more relevant than the STI mode alone (and its drivers).     Search for supersymmetry in events with b-quark jets and missing transverse energy in pp collisions at 7 TeV

    Results are presented from a search for physics beyond the standard model based on events with large missing transverse energy, at least three jets, and at least one, two, or three b-quark jets. The study is performed using a sample of proton-proton collision data collected at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV with the CMS detector at the LHC in 2011. The integrated luminosity of the sample is 4.98 inverse femtobarns. The observed number of events is found to be consistent with the standard model expectation, which is evaluated using control samples in the data. The results are used to constrain cross sections for the production of supersymmetric particles decaying to b-quark-enriched final states in the context of simplified model spectra.Comment: Submitted to Physical Review

    Integration of the End Cap TEC+ of the CMS Silicon Strip Tracker

    The silicon strip tracker of the CMS experiment has been completed and inserted into the CMS detector in late 2007. The largest sub-system of the tracker is its end cap system, comprising two large end caps (TEC) each containing 3200 silicon strip modules. To ease construction, the end caps feature a modular design: groups of about 20 silicon modules are placed on sub-assemblies called petals and these self-contained elements are then mounted into the TEC support structures. Each end cap consists of 144 petals, and the insertion of these petals into the end cap structure is referred to as TEC integration. The two end caps were integrated independently in Aachen (TEC+) and at CERN (TEC--). This note deals with the integration of TEC+, describing procedures for end cap integration and for quality control during testing of integrated sections of the end cap and presenting results from the testing
