    The Church of Latin America and the Caribbean receives from the Second Vatican Council a critical and prophetic force, which is evident in the Second Conference of the Episcopate, gathered in Medellín, celebrated in 1968. From the originality of our Amerindian, this Council assumes, integrates and translates its inspiration and fundamental paths. The church we are witnessing today, 50 years after Medellin, has been built since there. Proof of this, on this continent, are those communities that testify to a liberating and merciful church, Nazarene and Samaritan, a church that is a people of God and of the poor, a community church of communities and always on the way out. Communities that have worked for the sake of peace, justice and the dignity of all; in a real search and response of organization, of struggle against the oppression and exploitation of any order.  La Iglesia de América Latina y el Caribe recibe del Concilio Vaticano II una fuerza crítica y profética, que se evidencia en la Segunda Conferencia del Episcopado, reunida en Medellín, en 1968. A partir de la originalidad propia de nuestra amerindia, este Concilio se asume, integra y traduce para vivir su inspiración y derroteros fundamentales. La iglesia de la que somos testigos hoy, 50 años después de Medellín, se ha entretejido desde allí. Prueba fehaciente de ello, en este continente, son aquellas comunidades que testimonian a una iglesia liberadora y misericordiosa, nazarena y samaritana, una iglesia que es pueblo de Dios y de los pobres, una iglesia comunitaria de comunidades y, siempre, en salida. Comunidades que han trabajado en aras de la paz, la justicia y la dignidad de todos; en una búsqueda y respuesta real de organización, de lucha ante la opresión y explotación de cualquier orden

    We describe the Sloan Digital Sky Survey IV (SDSS-IV), a project encompassing three major spectroscopic programs. The Apache Point Observatory Galactic Evolution Experiment 2 (APOGEE-2) is observing hundreds of thousands of Milky Way stars at high resolution and high signal-to-noise ratios in the near-infrared. The Mapping Nearby Galaxies at Apache Point Observatory (MaNGA) survey is obtaining spatially resolved spectroscopy for thousands of nearby galaxies (median ). The extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (eBOSS) is mapping the galaxy, quasar, and neutral gas distributions between and 3.5 to constrain cosmology using baryon acoustic oscillations, redshift space distortions, and the shape of the power spectrum. Within eBOSS, we are conducting two major subprograms: the SPectroscopic IDentification of eROSITA Sources (SPIDERS), investigating X-ray AGNs and galaxies in X-ray clusters, and the Time Domain Spectroscopic Survey (TDSS), obtaining spectra of variable sources. All programs use the 2.5 m Sloan Foundation Telescope at the Apache Point Observatory; observations there began in Summer 2014. APOGEE-2 also operates a second near-infrared spectrograph at the 2.5 m du Pont Telescope at Las Campanas Observatory, with observations beginning in early 2017. Observations at both facilities are scheduled to continue through 2020. In keeping with previous SDSS policy, SDSS-IV provides regularly scheduled public data releases; the first one, Data Release 13, was made available in 2016 July

    This article is the result of a research based on theoretical principles of Piaget, Kohlberg and Freire, which prove that the personal morality development is a feasible and teleological task. On the other hand, empirical data collected from the Defining Issues Test of James Rest (DIT) shows that the Bogotá’s university students are in the conventional level. This fact challenges us to create a pedagogic proposal where the subject reaches a morality based on principles of social justice and recognition of the others, since the moral consciousness construction is an imperative for Colombian universities, which could be reduced to very technical curricula.Este artículo es resultado de una investigación cuya base teórica son los postulados de Piaget, Kohlberg y Freire a través de los cuales se ratifica el desarrollo de la moralidad en la persona humana como tarea posible y teleológica. De otra parte la información empírica obtenida a través del Defining Issues Test (DIT) de James Rest, revela que los estudiantes universitarios de Bogotá se encuentran en el nivel convencional. Esta realidad nos desafía a hacer una propuesta pedagógica que permita al sujeto alcanzar una moralidad de principios de justicia social y de reconocimiento de los otros, pues la formación de la conciencia moral es un imperativo para la universidad colombiana, en peligro de reducirse a currículos profesionalizantes
