    El valor percibido y la satisfacción del cliente en actividades dirigidas virtuales y con técnico en centros de fitness

    En la actualidad la industria del fitness se encuentra en la senda del crecimiento. Uno de los servicios que mayor presencia está teniendo en los centros de fitness son las actividades dirigidas con técnico, las cuales han evolucionado hacia actividades dirigidas virtuales debido a la inclusión de la tecnología. Esta investigación analiza el valor percibido y la satisfacción de los clientes en ambas actividades, explorando las diferencias existentes entre dichos servicios y la relación entre ambas variables. La muestra se compuso de 572 usuarios de un centro de fitness (319 mujeres y 253 hombres) con edades comprendidas entre los 15 y 63 años. Los resultados muestran diferencias significativas entre el valor percibido y la satisfacción entre los dos servicios deportivos, obteniendo valores más positivos en las que requieren un técnico deportivo. Asimismo, la satisfacción del cliente mostró ser dependiente del valor percibido, obteniendo un mayor vínculo en el caso de las actividades dirigidas virtuales. Estos resultados suscitan a la reflexión por parte de los gestores de las instalaciones deportivas sobre la incorporación o no de este tipo de servicios deportivos.At present, the fitness industry is on a growth path. One of the most prominent services in fitness centres is trainer-guided group fitness activities, which have evolved into virtual fitness activities with the inclusion of technology. This research analyses perceived value and customer satisfaction in both activities, exploring the differences between them and the relationship between the two variables. The sample consisted of 572 subjects belonging to a private fitness centre (319 women and 253 men), between 15 and 63 years old. The results show significant differences between perceived value and satisfaction in the two sports services, with sports requiring a trainer getting more positive values. Furthermore, customer satisfaction shows a dependence on perceived value, with a stronger link being obtained in the case of virtual fitness activities. These results and an in-depth analysis on the inclusion, or not, of these sport services are thought-provoking for managers of these facilities.Na actualidade a indústria do fitness encontra-se na senda do crescimento. Um dos serviços que maior presença está a ter nos centros de fitness são as actividades dirigidas com um técnico, as quais têm evoluído para actividades virtuais dirigidas devido à inclusão da tecnologia. Esta investigação analisa o valor percebido e a satisfação dos clientes em ambas as actividades, explorando as diferenças existentes entre estes serviços e a relação entre ambas as variáveis. A amostra foi composta por 572 utentes de um centro de fitness (319 mulheres e 253 homens) com idades compreendidas entre os 15 e os 63 anos. Os resultados revelam diferenças significativas entre o valor percebido e a satisfação entre os dois serviços desportivos, obtendo valores mais positivos as que requerem um técnico desportivo. Assim mesmo, a satisfação do cliente mostrou ser dependente do valor percebido, obtendo um maior vínculo no caso das actividades virtuais dirigidas. Estes resultados suscitam a reflexão por parte dos gestores das instalações desportivas sobre a incorporação ou não deste tipo de serviços desportivos

    On the Performance of Carbon Nanotubes on Sintered Alumina-Zirconia Ceramics

    The alumina (Al2O3) and zirconia (ZrO2) ceramic monoliths and their combination are used in both technical and biomedical applications due to their combination of excellent chemical, physical, and mechanical properties. Pressureless sintering (PLS), reaction bonding (RB), hot pressing (HP), hot isostatic pressing (HIP), and spark plasma sintering (SPS) are the sintering methods more commonly used. The high brittleness, the low fracture toughness, and low thermal stability that possess these ceramics are its Achilles heel for numerous engineering applications. The incorporation of a second phase such as carbon nanotubes (CNTs) into the ceramic matrix has been attempted to overcome these drawbacks but the obtained results are still controversial considering that the homogeneous dispersion of CNTs and the interfacial bonding between two different ceramic materials remains as a difficult task leading to little or even no improvement in mechanical properties. Besides, the role of CNTs in the sintering of ceramic materials is not clear in the scientific literature taking into account parameters such as materials used and particularly inconsistencies in dispersion and mixing of the CNTs.     Plan de negocio para una empresa consultora dedicada a la transformación digital de MYPES

    El presente trabajo de investigación recoge la problemática acontecida en nuestro país y agudizada por la emergencia sanitaria Covid-19, en donde, a consecuencia del aislamiento y distanciamiento social las ventas presenciales se han reducido considerablemente, llevando a muchas empresas peruanas a reinventarse y a otras a cerrar definitivamente. Uno de los grupos económicos más afectados con esta situación son las MYPES (micro y pequeñas empresas), las mismas que para subsistir han adoptado las tecnologías de comercialización digital actualmente disponibles; por dicha razón y en vista de la necesidad y la oportunidad que esto supone, este trabajo evalúa la viabilidad de constituir una empresa consultora dedicada a la transformación digital para MYPES, haciendo uso de los medios digitales más utilizados en el mercado. Con la finalidad de generar rentabilidades atractivas, este emprendimiento hace uso de la metodología “Lean Startup”, que propone invertir en los costos mínimos e indispensables para la operación, lo que significa una inversión reducida al inicio, en comparación con otros emprendimientos de similares características. Esta metodología de emprendimiento se documentó en el año 2011 por Eric Ries en Silicon Valley (EEUU) en su libro “El método Lean Startup”. Así mismo, la estrategia de comercialización a aplicar es la que se describe en el libro “Dotcom Secrets” de Russell Brunson que consiste en emplear inicialmente un señuelo de ventas, siendo esta estrategia muy poco utilizada por las empresas actualmente. Finalmente, al realizar el análisis financiero se concluye que el presente proyecto cuenta con un nivel de rentabilidad de 69.61% superando el 20% de rentabilidad esperada.This research work collects the problems that occurred in our country and exacerbated by the Covid-19 health emergency, where, as a result of isolation and social distancing, face-to-face sales have been considerably reduced, leading many Peruvian companies to reinvent themselves and others to close definitively. One of the economic groups most affected by this situation are the MYPES (micro and small companies), the same ones that to survive have adopted the digital marketing technologies currently available; For this reason and in view of the need and the opportunity that this implies, this work evaluates the viability of establishing a consulting company dedicated to digital transformation for MYPES, making use of the most widely used digital media in the market. In order to generate attractive returns, this venture makes use of the “Lean Startup” methodology, which proposes to invest in the minimum and essential costs for the operation, which means a reduced investment at the beginning, compared to other ventures with similar characteristics. This entrepreneurship methodology was documented in 2011 by Eric Ries in Silicon Valley (USA) in his book "The Lean Startup Method". Likewise, the marketing strategy to be applied is the one described in the book "Dotcom Secrets" by Russell Brunson, which consists of initially using a sales lure, this strategy being very little used by companies today.     Seroprevalence and genetic characterization of Toxoplasma gondii in domestic pigs intended for human consumption in Cuba

    Domestic pigs are considered as one of the main intermediate hosts in the zoonotic transmission of Toxoplasma gondii in many countries. Serological and molecular studies are warranted to better understand the epidemiology and transmission patterns of this parasite worldwide. To date, seroepidemiological information on T. gondii in domestic pigs in Cuba is very scarce and there are no reports of T. gondii genotypes circulating in this country. Here, we aimed to estimate the seroprevalence of T. gondii and provide genetic characterization of the strains circulating in slaughtered pigs intended for human consumption in Central Cuba. Seroprevalence was determined in 450 serum samples from slaughtered pigs in Villa Clara province using ELISA. Anti-Toxoplasma gondii IgG antibodies were detected in 100 animals (22.2%, 95% CI: 18.5-26.2). Conventional PCR of the 529-bp marker of T. gondii was performed in hearts and diaphragm tissues of all ELISA-seropositive pigs. Toxoplasma gondii DNA was detected in four animals. Further genetic characterization of the positive DNA samples was performed by multilocus PCR-RFLP and PCR-sequencing typing tools. Molecular analysis revealed four different genetic profiles that were combinations of type I, II, III and u-1 alleles, suggesting the circulation of non-clonal genotypes of T. gondii in domestic pigs in Cuba. Our results indicate that T. gondii is widely distributed in slaughtered pigs in this country, which might have important implications for public health. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report on genetic characterization of T. gondii in Cuba. Although preliminary, the results suggest a high genetic diversity of T. gondii in the study region. Further studies based on parasite isolation are needed to definitively identify the genotypes circulating and characterize the virulence of strains detected in pigs in Cuba, and to assess the risk of zoonotic transmission from pork products in this country

    En el presente documento se muestra el proceso realizado para la instalación y configuración del servidor Zentyal. Bajo el uso de la máquina VirtualBox se logra poner en marcha el desarrollo y el buen resultado de la fase final. Resaltando para esta vez que Zentyal nos permite gestionar las amenazas de seguridad y todo lo que tenga que ver con las diferentes reglas para gestionar el tráfico entrante y saliente tanto del servidor, como de la red interna. Zentyal ha sido la base fundamental para el desarrollo de esta práctica. Su aporte significativo como resultado final nos ha permitido encontrarnos con un sin número de características que logramos configurar llevándolo a la vida real. Al ser un servidor de código abierto este nos proporciona compatibilidad nativa con clientes Microsoft Outlook, así mismo nos dimos cuenta que asegura el acceso a Internet y unifica la infraestructura de red como buen servidor.This document shows the process carried out for the installation and configuration of the Zentyal server. Using the VirtualBox machine it is possible to start the development and the good result of the final phase. Highlighting for this time that Zentyal allows us to manage security threats and everything that has to do with the different rules to manage incoming and outgoing traffic from both the server and the internal network. Zentyal has been the fundamental basis for the development of this practice. Its significant contribution as a final result has allowed us to find a number of characteristics that we managed to configure by taking it to real life. Being an open source server, it provides us with native compatibility with Microsoft Outlook clients, we also realized that it ensures Internet access and unifies the network infrastructure as a good server

    An Open-Source Social Robot Based on Compliant Soft Robotics for Therapy with Children with ASD

    Therapy with robotic tools is a promising way to help improve verbal and nonverbal communication in children. The robotic tools are able to increase aspects such as eye contact and the ability to follow instructions and to empathize with others. This work presents the design methodology, development, and experimental validation of a novel social robot based on CompliAnt SofT Robotics called the CASTOR robot, which intends to be used as an open-source platform for the long-term therapy of children with autism spectrum disorder (CwASD). CASTOR integrates the concepts of soft actuators and compliant mechanisms to create a replicable robotic platform aimed at real therapy scenarios involving physical interaction between the children and the robot. The validation shows promising results in terms of robustness and the safety of the user and robot. Likewise, mechanical tests assess the robot’s response to blocking conditions for two critical modules (i.e., neck and arm) in interaction scenarios. Future works should focus on the validation of the robot’s effectiveness in the therapy of CwASD.</jats:p

    Effect of graphene and CNFs addition on the mechanical and electrical properties of dense alumina-toughened zirconia composites

    Fully dense carbon/alumina-toughened zirconia composites were prepared by using a combination of aqueous colloidal powder processing and spark plasma sintering technique (SPS). Various carbon elements were introduced in alumina-toughened zirconia matrix (ZA) as filler; carbon nanofibers (CNFs) and graphene oxide (GO). The influence of the addition of different carbon forms on the microstructure and on the mechanical and electrical properties was investigated. In the case of the ZAGO composites, the SPS technique allowed, in one-step, the in situ reduction of the graphene oxide during the sintering process. The fracture toughness increases for ZAGO composites in comparison to the ZA material while the hardness decreases slightly with carbon elements addition. The electrical conductivity of the ZA composite drastically increased with the addition of graphene oxide, and it reached 10 Omega cm at 2 vol%. CrownA.
