Entrevistas con Teresa de Jesús: holografías transatlánticas de Gabriela Mistral y Rafael Gordon

Erigida como un singular personaje de la Modernidad Temprana y convertida en un icono del feminismo contemporáneo, sus representaciones son innumerables tanto en el campo literario como en la gran pantalla. Este trabajo analiza motivos y estrategias retóricas para la configuración de dos diálogos en los que la santa ha sido convertida en interlocutora ficcional: una conversión escrita y protagonizada por Gabriela Mistral al altura de 1925 para una de sus crónicas; y, en el ámbito audiovisual, la entrevista con un holograma de la de Ávila en la película Teresa, Teresa, de Rafael Gordon (2003). Pese a su naturaleza diversa, convergen en la convocación de ciertos tópicos y la imitación de la escritura teresiana, en la que el molde dialógico estuvo presente tanto en su poesía, como en su prosa confesional o en su autobiografía espiritual

Nowadays, the relevance of neuroscientific studies does not leave indifferent to the legal-forensic context, having a fundamental role in the criminal issue that competes the field of culpability. Specifically, and taking into account the group of people who carry out the illicit acts as a result of a mental illness, it is essential to know the weight of that biological basis in order to answer the question of imputability-inimputability. In view of this, judicial decision-making should be established on those expert reports that let clarify the degree of impairment of cognitive and / or volitional capacity at the time of the crime and, in such way, can be appreciated by the judge an exemption from the penalty. Thus, the underlying symptomatology of said mental alteration and taken as a basis the expert opinion first, and those from the legal operators subsequently, should be taken as a reference the existing diagnostic manuals, especially valuing in this work the importance of complementary tools such as the one related to the Research Domain Criteria (RDoC).La relevancia de los estudios neurocientíficos en la actualidad no deja indiferente al contexto jurídico-forense, siendo su papel fundamental en la cuestión penal que compete al ámbito de la culpabilidad. De manera específica, atendiendo al colectivo de personas que llevan a cabo el hecho ilícito como consecuencia de una patología mental, resulta imprescindible conocer el peso de aquella base biológica de cara a dar respuesta a la cuestión de imputabilidad-inimputabilidad. Ante ello, la toma de decisiones judiciales no puede sino establecerse sobre aquellos informes periciales que permitan esclarecer el grado de afectación de la capacidad cognitiva y/o volitiva en el momento del delito y hacerlo en modo tal que pueda llegar a apreciarse por el juzgador una circunstancia modificativa de responsabilidad criminal. Así, la sintomatología subyacente a dicha alteración mental y que se tome como base por peritos en primer lugar, y por operadores jurídicos con posterioridad, deberá de acogerse a los manuales de diagnóstico existentes al respecto, valorando especialmente en este trabajo la importancia de herramientas complementarias como sería la relativa a los Criterios de Dominio de Investigación (RDoC)

Geotourism potential and challenges in the Archipelago of San Andrés, Providencia, and Santa Catalina (Colombia)

El archipiélago de San Andrés, Providencia y Santa Catalina (Colombia) es un destino turístico consolidado con numerosos geositios que muestran un maravilloso patrimonio natural y cultural de gran importancia y atractivo para el desarrollo del geoturismo. Si bien esta región es visitada principalmente por su espectacular paisaje costero, hasta ahora faltaba información e interpretación geológica sobre estos emblemáticos geositios. Por lo tanto, es muy importante desarrollar una estrategia de geoconservación que promueva el geoturismo sostenible por medio de la mejora del conocimiento de los elementos geológicos de esta región. El valor paisajístico de esta región debe ser reconocido a nivel mundial para mejorar y proteger sus recursos patrimoniales por medio del geoturismo y la geoeducación con fines de geoconservación, de manera que se motive una gestión eficiente que describa lineamientos que promuevan el desarrollo de una adecuada infraestructura turística, centros de interpretación científica y cultural, materiales de difusión y educativos, intercambio activo con geoparques, mejora continua y participación de las comunidades locales.The Archipelago of San Andrés, Providencia, and Santa Catalina (Colombia) is a well-established tourist destination with numerous geosites that show a marvelous natural and cultural heritage of great importance and attractive for the development of geotourism. Although this region is visited mainly for its spectacular coastal landscape, until now, there was a lack of geological information and interpretation about those emblematic geosites. Therefore, it is very important to develop a geoconservation strategy by promoting sustainable geotourism through improving the knowledge of the geological elements of this region. The landscape value of this region must be globally recognized to improve and protect its heritage resources through geotourism and geoeducation with geoconservation purposes, so that it motivates an efficient management that describes guidelines that promote the development of an appropiate tourist infrastructure, centers of scientific and cultural interpretation, dissemination and educational materials, active exchange with geoparks, continuous improvement and participation of the local communities

Posture Estimation of Curve Running Motion Using Nano-Biosensor and Machine Learning

Curve running is a common form of training and competition. Conducting research on posture estimation during curve running can provide more accurate training and competition data for athletes. However, due to the unique nature of curve running, traditional posture estimation methods neglect the temporal changes in athlete posture, resulting in a decrease in estimation accuracy. Therefore, a posture estimation method for curve running motion using nano-biosensor and machine learning is proposed. First, the motion parameters of humans are collected by nano-biosensor, and the posture coordinates are obtained preliminarily. Second, the posture coordinates are established according to the human motion parameters, and the curve running posture data is obtained and filtered to obtain more accurate data. Finally, the Bayesian network in machine learning is used to continuously track the posture, and a nonlinear equation is established to fuse the posture angle obtained by the sensor and the posture tracked by the Bayesian network, to realize the posture estimation of curve running motion. The results show that the proposed estimation method has a good motion posture estimation effect, and the hip joint estimation error, knee joint estimation error and ankle joint estimation error are all less than 5°, and the endpoint displacement estimation offset rate is less than 2%. It can realize accurate motion posture estimation of curve running motion, and has important application value in the field of track training

Playing it right: Empirical validation of the Gamertype scale for game-based learning in higher education

The growing interest in applying gamified designs in higher education is challenged by mixed results in terms of student acceptance. Different players are attracted to games for different reasons and game design elements, and a better understanding of how each learner will connect to different game mechanics provides valuable input for game design and evaluation. In this paper, we present and validate a scale to measure the affinity of each player with different game elements. First, a theoretical review was carried out on three profile classifications and six motivational theoretical models, proposing a taxonomy for twelve player profiles based on three axes: relational, competence and motivational. Then, a pilot test was carried out with 54 subjects, analysing content and comprehension validity through the judgment of six experts and construct validity through an exploratory factorial analysis. Subsequently, with a sample of 1010 subjects, a confirmatory factor analysis was performed. The scale was made up of 30 items, with a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.822; three main components were obtained: dominators, interactors and trackers. The results show the validity of the scale, with high levels of confidence. It provides an understanding of the player’s profile in a playful context, their motivational orientation and their affinity with the specific game design. This can be used to improve the design of gamified experiences in higher education.El interés creciente por la aplicación de diseños gamificados en la educación superior se ve cuestionado por un nivel de aceptación desigual de los alumnos. Cada jugador siente atracción por el juego por distintos motivos y por ítems de diseño diferentes. Por ello, comprender mejor la conexión de cada alumno con las distintas mecánicas del juego resulta de gran valor para su diseño y evaluación. En este artículo, se presenta y valida una escala para medir la afinidad de cada jugador con los distintos ítems del juego. En primer lugar, se llevó a cabo una revisión teórica de tres clasificaciones de perfiles y seis modelos motivacionales teóricos. Como resultado, se propuso una taxonomía de doce perfiles de jugador basada en tres ejes: relacional, competencial y motivacional. A continuación, se realizó una prueba piloto con 54 sujetos en la que se analizó, por un lado, la validez del contenido y la comprensión mediante la valoración de seis expertos y, por otro, la validez de los constructos mediante un análisis factorial exploratorio. Posteriormente, se efectuó un análisis factorial confirmatorio con una muestra de 1010 sujetos. La escala se compuso de 30 ítems, con un alfa de Cronbach de 0.822; se obtuvieron tres componentes principales: dominadores, interactuadores y rastreadores. Los resultados muestran la validez de la escala, con altos niveles de confianza. Permite conocer el perfil del jugador en un contexto lúdico, su orientación motivacional y su afinidad con el diseño de juego específico. Esta información puede utilizarse para mejorar el diseño de experiencias gamificadas en la educación superior
