    In the last decade the public administration system from most of the EU countries suffered many transformations in order to achieve the objectives proposed by the European Union, such as sustainable development. The civil service represented and still is a very important key factor for a success reformation of the administrative system, because it represents the main resource of the system. The analysis underlines the introduction of the public manager in the Romanian civil service hierarchy and the introduction of the concept dirigenza pubblica, a type of public management, in the Italian public administration. With the OECD ministerial declaration on regulatory quality in 1995, the OECD provided the first international standards in this policy area, endorsed at the highest possible level by its Member States. The European Union has also emerged as an important IA standards provider and the European Commission is extremely active in asking individual member states to make progress with the introduction of IA, regulatory quality indicators and other policy and regulatory management initiatives. The purpose of this study is to analyse if through the introduction of the RIA in Romania the Government could monitor the impact in terms of effective legislation in the context by the economic crisis started at the end the year 2008. This research study attempts to provide an answer to a number of main research questions: 1. How is understood and what is the current situation of the RIA system in Romania? 2.     Non-compaction cardiomyopathy – brief review

    Left ventricular non-compaction cardiomyopathy is a genetic disorder characterized by the presence of two myocardial layers with numerous prominent trabeculations and deep inter-trabecular recesses that communicate with the ventricular cavity. The diagnosis is often challenging because excessive trabeculations may also be a normal finding in performance athletes and black people. Echocardiography is the gold standard for diagnosis of this condition, but other useful diagnostic techniques may include cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, and contrast ventriculography. Moreover, newer echocardiographic methods such as three-dimensional imaging and speckle tracking analysis promise to improve the diagnosis of left ventricular non-compaction cardiomyopathy.     The Neonate with Minor Dysmorphisms

    Congenital anomalies are present in at least 10% of all neonatal intensive care unit admissions, of whom many have an underlying genetic condition. About 50–60% of human congenital anomalies are of unknown etiology, and approximately one- third are caused by genetic factors. A smaller percentage of birth defects are the result of chromosomal aberrations and gene mutations. Around 1 in 40 or 2.5% of all newborns have a malformation at birth. This may be an isolated malformation or may occur together with other malformations and/or dysmorphic features as part of a malformation syndrome. Around 4000 malformation syndromes have now been delineated. Many are associated with medical problems and making a specific syndrome diagnosis can influence immediate medical management. However, the infant with dysmorphism often does not have a major malformation, and may simply have an appearance that is unusual compared with the general population and of unaffected close relatives. The chapter intends to provide semnificative data concerning the approach and management of a dysmorphic neonate, mainly when there are minor anomalies and will offer all those relevant data and try to establish a protocol guide for the approach of the dimorphic neonate

    Pregnancy in the context of Multiple Sclerosis

    Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic autoimmune neurodegenerative disorder which affects brain, spinal cord and optic nerve. During last years the perception over the disease changed dramatically, now being considered a handleable disease. The particularity of this subject is that Multiple Sclerosis is a disease which affects mostly young women, many of them not having any children at the moment of diagnosis. This article highlights the fact that women diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis are allowed to get pregnant, and, moreover, they are encouraged to live a normal life. In most cases, disease activity freezes during pregnancy, only a small percentage of women will continue to have clinically and radiologically active disease. For those women, IFN-β and Glatiramer Acetate are the first-choice therapies that should be given. In cases when the disease is not responding to common medication, refractory to treatment forms may be successfully treated with Natalizuab, during the first and the second trimester. Breastfeeding is also encouraged, as it has a protective effect on disease progression. The main purpose of this article is to make a literature review in which to summarize the updates regarding pregnancy and postpartum management, relapses management and, also, the impact of pregnancy on Multiple Sclerosis course. The analysis was limited to articles written in English and published between August 2019 - October 2022 on PubMed, NCBI and Medical Journals

    Oligohydramnios: A review of etiology and management options

    Oligohydramnios is both a consequence of fetal malformations and of uteroplacental insufficiency. Its existence is associated with a high rate of both antepartum and intrapartum complications. It is vital that its occurrence is detected as early as possible so that we can manage it correctly. The main causes of its occurrence are identified and described in this review. The management of oligohydramnios is most often expectant, the timing of delivery also being determined by Doppler examination and changes in parameters measuring fetal growth and development

    Azimuthal anisotropy of charged jet production in root s(NN)=2.76 TeV Pb-Pb collisions

    We present measurements of the azimuthal dependence of charged jet production in central and semi-central root s(NN) = 2.76 TeV Pb-Pb collisions with respect to the second harmonic event plane, quantified as nu(ch)(2) (jet). Jet finding is performed employing the anti-k(T) algorithm with a resolution parameter R = 0.2 using charged tracks from the ALICE tracking system. The contribution of the azimuthal anisotropy of the underlying event is taken into account event-by-event. The remaining (statistical) region-to-region fluctuations are removed on an ensemble basis by unfolding the jet spectra for different event plane orientations independently. Significant non-zero nu(ch)(2) (jet) is observed in semi-central collisions (30-50% centrality) for 20 <p(T)(ch) (jet) <90 GeV/c. The azimuthal dependence of the charged jet production is similar to the dependence observed for jets comprising both charged and neutral fragments, and compatible with measurements of the nu(2) of single charged particles at high p(T). Good agreement between the data and predictions from JEWEL, an event generator simulating parton shower evolution in the presence of a dense QCD medium, is found in semi-central collisions.
