    4, Conclueione To conclude, in my Thesis I found that ligands with phosphorus acid ped- a]11 alm substituting carboxylate in DOTA structure are endowéd with several Íavor- able features like a water residence liťetime optimal for a preparation of high- relaxivity covalent conjugates' Importantly, these promising p'óp.'ti.. were proved to persist even after the conjugation as was demonstrated ón u iy.."t.ical áitopic model compound for the first time. Imporlantly, the folrowing study of row- ge.nelatlon PAMAM conjugate proved that, unlike most oťthe published studies, trre rela:livity of these macromolecular systems ísnot exchang.-li.it"d. This has al. lowed meto investigate in detaíl the limiting effects on the iela;rivity of the internal ro^tation of the complex in the conjugates. In addition' I shown that tňe local mottons ofthe dendrimer backbone and ofthe conjugated complexes can be slowed down by a- formatíon of supramolecular adducts with cationic polyaminoacids. Also, I was able to quantitatively evaluate the effects of the local motíons and to effectively reduce them. As a result, the efficacy of these systems as relaxation agents is the highest so far reported for this class of compounds that can find a varieň of poten- tial biomedical/bioinorganic applications.     Hyperfine coupling constants on inner‐sphere water molecules of GdIII‐based MRI contrast agents

    [Abstract] Herein we present a theoretical investigation of the hyperfine coupling constants (HFCCs) on the inner‐sphere water molecules of [Gd(H2O)8]3+ and different GdIII‐based magnetic resonance imaging contrast agents such as [Gd(DOTA)(H2O)]−, [Gd(DTPA)(H2O)]2−, [Gd(DTPA‐BMA)(H2O)] and [Gd(HP‐DO3A)(H2O)]. DFT calculations performed on the [Gd(H2O)8]3+ model system show that both hybrid‐GGA functionals (BH&HLYP, B3PW91 and PBE1PBE) and the hybrid meta‐GGA functional TPSSh provide 17O HFCCs in close agreement with the experimental data. The use of all‐electron relativistic approaches based on the DKH2 approximation and the use of relativistic effective core potentials (RECP) provide results of essentially the same quality. The accurate calculation of HFCCs on the [Gd(DOTA)(H2O)]−, [Gd(DTPA)(H2O)]2−, [Gd(DTPA‐BMA)(H2O)] and [Gd(HP‐DO3A)(H2O)] complexes requires an adequate description of solvent effects. This was achieved by using a mixed cluster/continuum approach that includes explicitly two second‐sphere water molecules. The calculated isotropic 17O HFCCs (Aiso) fall within the range 0.40–0.56 MHz, and show deviations from the corresponding experimental values typically lower than 0.05 MHz. The Aiso values are significantly affected by the distance between the oxygen atom of the coordinated water molecule and the GdIII ion, as well as by the orientation of the water molecule plane with respect to the Gd‐O vector. 1H HFCCs of coordinated water molecules and 17O HFCCs of second‐sphere water molecules take values close to zero.Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia; CTQ2009‐10721Xunta de Galicia; IN845B‐2010/06

    Nález autografu Fibichových Variací B dur pro klavír z roku 1877 nejen rozšiřuje okruh známých a dokončených skladeb Zdeňka Fibicha, ale v rámci jeho díla navíc představují jediné zachovalé koncertní variace pro klavír. Díky Variacím můžeme také lépe nahlédnout do Fibichovy kompoziční techniky, neboť v roce 1883 je přepracoval pro smyčcový kvartet. Komparační analýza mimo jiné odhaluje, že posledně jmenované dílo je neprávem opomíjeným klenotem. Zajímavým zjištěním je také fakt, že další významné variační cykly pro klavír od Bedřicha Smetany, Antonína Dvořák a Leoše Janáček spadají svým vznikem do stejných let jako opus Fibichův. Diplomová práce, která navazuje na nálezovou studii z roku 2008 v časopise Hudební věda, se dále zaměřuje na osobnost dedikanta, profesora Josefa Sallače (1849 - 1929), a odhaluje v něm důležitou postavu hudební života, zejména 2. poloviny 19. století. Také proto by bylo záhodno pátrat po Sallačově archivu, který může ukrývat cenné opisy. Vždyť se díky němu zachovala Fibichova Sonáta D dur pro housle a klavír z roku 1875. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)The discovery of the autograph of Fibich's Variations in B-flat major for piano from 1877 not only extends the collection of known and completed compositions by Zdeněk Fibich, but they also present the single preserved concert variations for piano within his oeuvre. Thanks to the Variations, we can have a better insight into Fibich's compositional technique, for in 1883, he reworked them for a string quartet. Among other things, the comparative analysis reveals the latter work to be an unjustly neglected treasure. Also interesting is the fact that the origin of other significant sets of variations for piano by Bedřich Smetana, Antonín Dvořák and Leoš Janáček falls into the same period as Fibich's opus. Following the discovery in 2008 and the consequent study in Hudební věda ('Musicology') magazine, this thesis further focuses on the dedicatee, Prof. Josef Sallač (1849 - 1929), and reveals him as a prominent figure of the musical world, esp. in the 2nd half of the 19th century. This is one of the reasons why a search for Sallač's archive would be advisable, as it might contain valuable manuscripts. It was, after all, thanks to him that Fibich's Sonata in D major for violin and piano from 1875 was preserved.     Práce na příkladu děl českých básníků: P. Cincibucha, I. Diviše, J. Hanzlíka, V. Janovice, R. Matyse, J. Peterky, V. Provazníkové, K. Sýse, J. Šotoly a P. Šrůta, vznikajících v 60. letech 20. století, rozkrývá první vlnu vlivu Holanovy poezie, která překotně vycházela ve stejné době. Tento vliv, dobovou kritikou a literárními historiky jen povrchně zmiňovaný, pomocí detailní analýzy konkretizuje a hodnotí, přičemž vedle vydaných básnických sbírek se opírá také o korespondenci, dobové recenze, sekundární literaturu a především o rozhovory s uvedenými básníky. Práce pak směřuje k následujícímu resumé: Ačkoliv se ukazuje, že Holanův vliv je třeba odkrývat v jeho konkrétních realizacích, některé Holanovy prostředky a motivy inspirují všeobecně, jako například: střet konkrét a abstrakt v genitivních metaforách, gnómy, verslibrismus vycházející z prozaické promluvy, propracovaná syntax a motiv zdi
