NRS § 209.4465 does not allow for good time served to be credited for those who commit child lewdness. The Court held that in order for a violation to be a continuous crime, the statute must be explicitly label the crime as continuous. Here, Respondent’s time served had been properly calculated by the district court because Respondent’s violation was codified as a one-time offense and occurred before the 2007 amendment to NRS § 209.4465. The language of the violated statutes define attempted lewdness with a child to be a one-time offense and not a continuous offense. Furthermore, the State’s assertion that the crime occurred between 2006-2013 is meritless because by definition an attempted crime is not a continuous crime. Thus, the 2007 amended version of NRS § 209.4465 that does not allow for good time served to be credited for those who commit child lewdness, is not applicable

Yoga and Its Benefits on Mental Illness

This thesis looks into the role yoga can play as an aid to treatment of mental health illnesses such as eating disorders, depression, and anxiety. This research identifies some problems associated with treating eating disorders including co-morbidity and poor insurance coverage. Using yoga as an aid to treatment may bring better access to people while also being an affordable option to reduce symptoms of mental illness. The author participated in the Ohio State University's program RECESS to offer yoga workshops that provide information and the leading through of yoga asana poses that aid in mental health. Following the RECESS program, a study took place within Ohio State's Dance Department with 22 freshman dance majors. The students were given a survey asking about general eating patterns. They were then taught a simple yoga sequence to do before one meal a day for 10 days, and they then regrouped and filled out a post survey. The results were then analyzed, suggesting that performing a simple yoga sequence prior to eating may decrease negative affects associated with eating disorders.Karen A. Frank Crowther to deny a request for a permit to operate a tailor shop in the basement of a Eutaw Place home. This paper examines the case of Goldman v. Crowther. Goldman\u27s story reads like a comic melodrama with a tragic ending. But the saga also illuminates the social condition - it sheds light and casts shadows on the practice of xenophobia, the nature of law and the excess of regulation
