    The collection is primarily composed of the letters of Sally Pottlitzer to his wife Emmy nee Fabian. There is one well-preserved picture postcard of Konitz (today Chojnice, Poland). Folder 2 contains Emmy's poetry album with poems and some (family?) death dates. The documents in folder 2 include a certificate recognizing Emmy's service during World War I, a letter announcing her dismissal from a commission in Berlin (1933), and the 1946 British naturalization certificate for Markus Borchardt (relation unknown).processed for digitizationSent for digitizationdigitize

She studied at the universities of Berlin, Freiburg and at the Sorbonne. In 1937 she married the music teacher Hans Freyhan. After her emigration to England, she worked as a music teacher, conductor and Assistant Chorus Master of the Bedford Musical Society
