HITSAUKSEN LAADUNHALLINNAN KEHITTÄMINEN KONEPAJASSA

Markkinoiden kansainvälistyessä ja kilpailun kiristyessä on yrityksen tuotettava entistä kehittyneempiä ja laadukkaampia tuotteita. Kansainväliset standardit uusiutuvat aika-ajoin vastaamaan paremmin markkinoiden tarpeita. Yrityksen täytyy pysyä ajan tasalla globaalien, tiukentuvien vaatimusten suhteen. Myydäkseen vaatimukset täyttäviä tuotteita, yrityksen täytyy todentaa laadunhallinta-järjestelmänsä vaikuttavuus. Ongelmana esiintyy, että yritykseltä kuluu resursseja näi-den vaatimusten seurantaan ja päivityksiin. Työn tavoitteena oli tutkia Oy Laine-Tuotanto Ab:n hitsausvalmistuksen laadunhallintajärjestelmän vaikuttavuutta uudistettuun SFS-EN ISO 9001 –standardiin sekä SFS-EN ISO 3834 –standardiin. Tutkimuksessa hankittiin tietoja vertaamalla Oy Laine-Tuotanto Ab:n käytännön valmistusprosessia laatukäsikirjassa kuvattuihin prosesseihin. Teoreettisena tarkasteluna verrattiin vanhempia standardeja uusiin standardeihin. Tämän jälkeen saatuja tuloksia analysoitiin nykyisiin vaatimuksiin. Tutkimuksessa havaittiin että vaatimukset ovat kiristyneet, mutta ottavat nyt huomi-oon paremmin organisaation muut toiminnot. Analysoinnin pohjalta annettiin esitykset tutkimuksessa havaittujen ongelmakohtien ratkaisemiseksi.Globalization of markets and competition is intensifying, and therefore companies need to produce more sophisticated and higher quality products. International stand-ards are updated at regular intervals to better meet the market requirements. In order to sell equipment that meets these requirements, companies need to demon-strate the effectiveness of their product quality management. The problem is that companies need resources to handle these requirements, monitoring and updates. The aim of this study was to examine the company Oy Laine-Tuotanto Ab’s welding man-ufacturing quality management system’s effectiveness in relation to the revised ISO 9001 and new ISO 3834 standards. The study compared the company’s practices in the manufacturing process to the pro-cesses described in the quality manual. The theoretical analysis compared older stand-ards to the new standards. Following this, the results were analyzed in relation to the present requirements. The study found that the requirements have been tightened, but now take better ac-count of the organization’s other processes. An analysis of the results identified prob-lem areas. Suggestions for improvement are presented

Are Sphagnum-dominated regenerating cutover bogs C sinks or not? A study in the Swiss Jura Mountains with predictions of climate change impacts on the C balance

Growing peatlands are an important long-term carbon (C) sink and thus play a key role in the global C cycle. Vast surfaces of northern peatlands have been mined for peat and are currently abandoned. In these surfaces, secondary vegetation succession takes place, leading to Sphagnum- dominated communities. It is unclear if these regenerating cutover bogs accumulate C, and in particular if the successful re-establishment of Sphagnum mosses suffices to infer that the C sequestration function has been restored.
