Trans people and the constitutional court do not speak the same language: the exclusive language of the court

ilustraciones, gráficas, tablasLa Corte Constitucional ha pretendido a través de un precedente progresista, conformado por aproximadamente 28 sentencias, proteger, reivindicar y restablecer los derechos a la igualdad y a la identidad de género de las personas trans cuando se imponen restricciones a su identidad. Sin embargo, el lenguaje que emplea en el cuerpo del texto y que sirve de sustento a las decisiones que toma, es excluyente. Esto se da debido a tres razones: Primero, el derecho considerado como una forma de discurso es estructuralmente excluyente frente a personas con identidades de género diversas, quienes ostentan una situación de desventaja en el campo social que constituye el derecho. Segundo, el análisis de las cinco sentencias tomadas de las 28 inicialmente identificadas, que sientan un precedente protector, muestra que ellas reproducen un lenguaje que, además de no reconocer la identidad, es conceptual y marca diferencias de género, promueve la segregación de identidades, reproduce estereotipos sexistas, reafirma expectativas del cuerpo de acuerdo con el género estable y plantea identidades desde la negatividad. Tercero, del análisis de cinco categorías comunes al lenguaje de las personas trans y la Corte Constitucional se determinó que no hablan el mismo lenguaje, la institucionalidad adopta un lenguaje esencialista del género y del sexo, mientras que las personas trans adoptan una postura analítica que da prevalencia al ser humano, la vivencia interna y a la cultura para construir el significado del género. Desde estos hallazgos, se hace una invitación a la Corte Constitucional para renovar el lenguaje de sus sentencias que contribuya a la inclusión real y efectiva de las identidades de género diversas, no sólo en la sociedad, sino también en el derecho, un derecho de ellas. (Texto tomado de la fuente)The Constitutional Court has pursued, through a progressive precedent, made up of approximately 28 judgements, to protect, vindicate and restore the rights to equality and gender identity of trans people when restrictions are imposed on their identity. However, the language used by the Court is discriminatory. This occurs due to three reasons: First, law considered as a discourse is itself structurally discriminatory with diverse gender identities, who are at a disadvantage in the social field that constitutes legal forms. Second, the analysis of five protective judgments, which set a protective precedent, shows that they reproduce a language that marks gender differences, promotes the segregation of identities, reproduces sexist stereotypes, reaffirms expectations of the body in accordance with the stable gender and poses identities from negativity. Third, the analysis of five categories common to the language of trans people and the Constitutional Court determined that they do not speak the same language, the institutions adopt an essentialist language of gender and sex, while trans people adopt an analytical stance that it gives prevalence to the human being, the internal experience and the culture to construct the meaning of gender. Order parameter symmetry in bismuth (biscco-2223) high tc superconductors

Electrothermal conductivity measurements as a function of applied magnetic field were performed in order to gain information of the order parameter symmetry (OPS) of Bismuth (BiSCCO-2223) superconducting samples. A correlation between excess electrothermal conductivity and the quasiparticles contribution due mainly to quasiparticles-vortex scattering was assumed. The experimental results of excess electrothermal conductivity determined from electrical resistivity (ρ) and thermopower (S) measurements, carried out at different temperatures close to Tc, can be well described supposing an order parameter symmetry of dx2 - y2 - wave type.A partir de mediciones de la conductividad electrotérmica (P) en función del campo magnético externo aplicado, se determinó la simetría del parámetro de orden (OPS) de muestras superconductoras de bismuto (BiSCCO-2223), asumiendo una correlación entre el exceso de conductividad electrotérmica y la contribución producida por la dispersión entre cuasipartículas y vórtices. Nivel de conocimiento de las enfermeras sobre ética y aplicación de los principios éticos en los cuidados de enfermería según la percepción de los pacientes Servicio de Recuperación. HNERM. Lima. 2006

El documento digital no refiere asesorLos motivos del presente trabajo son el evaluar el nivel de conocimiento de los profesionales de enfermería que laboran en el Servicio de Recuperación del HNERM sobre la etica en el cuidado de enfermería y determinar la aplicación, de los principios éticos de beneficencia, no maleficencia, autonomía y justicia, en los cuidados de Enfermería. Teniendo en cuenta la naturaleza del estudio y de los objetivos, se empleó el diseño de tipo cuantitativo, nivel aplicativo, el método descriptivo de corte transversal. La muestra fue de 116 pacientes que permanecieron más de 6 horas en el post operatorio inmediato y por 18 Enfermeras que laboran en el Servicio de Recuperación, la técnica de muestreo fue probabilística aleatorio simple. La recolección de datos de los pacientes se realizó en los meses de mayo y junio, empleándose como instrumento un cuestionario de 20 ítems. Después de analizar la información recolectada se llegó a la conclusión que el nivel de conocimiento de los profesionales de enfermería es de medio a bajo y la aplicación de los principios éticos en los cuidados que brindan los mismos es poco frecuente. Aplicación de un modelo de gestión de inventarios para optimizar los costos de inventario en la Empresa Agualima S.A.C.

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo proponer la aplicación de un modelo de gestión de inventarios basado en el modelo de lote económico para optimizar costos de inventario en las presentaciones de arándano en la empresa Agualima S.A.C. Este aporte constituye una oportunidad para que la empresa implemente y aplique un modelo de lote económico de compras en cada una de las presentaciones, teniendo como resultado una mejor planificación. Para lograr este propósito, se ha utilizado como fuente primaria la unidad de análisis de cada uno de las presentaciones que la empresa comercializa durante los dos últimos años. Cumplidas estas etapas, la investigación ha permitido establecer el modelo de compras, que servirá de soporte al sistema de gestión de inventarios para la compañía. Las técnicas de recolección de datos que se utilizaron para el desarrollo de la investigación fueron la observación directa y revisiones documentales. Los resultados de este trabajo representan un aporte importante ya que, en el departamento de La Libertad, son muy pocas las empresas que cuentan con un Sistema de Gestión de inventarios.The objective of this research work is to propose the application of an inventory management model based on the economic lot model to optimize inventory costs in the presentations of blueberries in the company Agualima S.A.C. This contribution is an opportunity for the company to implement and apply an economic batch model of purchases in each of the presentations, resulting in better planning. To achieve this purpose, the unit of analysis of each of the presentations that the company sells during the last two years has been used as the primary source. Once these stages have been completed, the research has established the purchasing model, which will serve as support for the inventory management system for the company. The data collection techniques that were used for the development of the research were direct observation and documentary reviews. The results of this work represent an important contribution since, in the department of La Libertad, there are very few companies that have an Inventory Management System.Tesi

The future of pediatric dentistry education and curricula : A Chilean perspective

Copyright: Copyright 2016 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.Background: A meeting was organised to consolidate a network of researchers and academics from Australia, Brazil, Chile, the UK and the USA, relating to Early Childhood Caries (ECC) and Dental Trauma (DT). As part of this meeting, a dedicated session was held on the future of paediatric dental education and curricula. Twenty-four paediatric dentistry (PD) academics, representing eight Chilean dental schools, and three international specialists (from Brazil and Latvia) participated in group discussions facilitated by five members of the ECC/DT International Collaborative Network. Data were collected from group discussions which followed themes developed as guides to identify key issues associated with paediatric dentistry education, training and research. Discussion: Participants discussed current PD dental curricula in Chile, experiences in educating new cohorts of oral health care providers, and the outcomes of existing efforts in education and research in PD. They also, identified challenges, opportunities and areas in need of further development. Summary: This paper provides an introspective analysis of the education and training of PD in Chile; describes the input provided by participants into pediatric dentistry education and curricula; and sets out some key priorities for action with suggested directions to best prepare the future dental workforce to maximise oral health outcomes for children. Cannabidiol regulation of emotion and emotional memory processing: relevance for treating anxiety-related and substance abuse disorders

Learning to associate cues or contexts with potential threats or rewards is adaptive and enhances survival. Both aversive and appetitive memories are therefore powerful drivers of behaviour, but the inappropriate expression of conditioned responding to fear- and drug-related stimuli can develop into anxiety-related and substance abuse disorders respectively. These disorders are associated with abnormally persistent emotional memories and inadequate treatment, often leading to symptom relapse. Studies show that cannabidiol, the main non-psychotomimetic phytocannabinoid found in Cannabis sativa, reduces anxiety via 5-HT1A and (indirect) cannabinoid receptor activation in paradigms assessing innate responses to threat. There is also accumulating evidence from animal studies investigating the effects of cannabidiol on fear memory processing indicating that it reduces learned fear in paradigms that are translationally relevant to phobias and post-traumatic stress disorder. Cannabidiol does so by reducing fear expression acutely and by disrupting fear memory reconsolidation and enhancing fear extinction, both of which can result in a lasting reduction of learned fear. Recent studies have also begun to elucidate the effects of cannabidiol on drug memory expression using paradigms with translational relevance to addiction. The findings suggest that cannabidiol reduces the expression of drug memories acutely and by disrupting their reconsolidation. Here, we review the literature demonstrating the anxiolytic effects of cannabidiol before focusing on studies investigating its effects on various fear and drug memory processes. Understanding how cannabidiol regulates emotion and emotional memory processing may eventually lead to its use as a treatment for anxiety-related and substance abuse disorders
