Search for CP violation in D+→ϕπ+ and D+s→K0Sπ+ decays
A search for CP violation in D + → ϕπ + decays is performed using data collected in 2011 by the LHCb experiment corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb−1 at a centre of mass energy of 7 TeV. The CP -violating asymmetry is measured to be (−0.04 ± 0.14 ± 0.14)% for candidates with K − K + mass within 20 MeV/c 2 of the ϕ meson mass. A search for a CP -violating asymmetry that varies across the ϕ mass region of the D + → K − K + π + Dalitz plot is also performed, and no evidence for CP violation is found. In addition, the CP asymmetry in the D+s→K0Sπ+ decay is measured to be (0.61 ± 0.83 ± 0.14)%

The production cross-sections of , and
mesons in proton-proton collisions at = 13 TeV are
measured with a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of recorded by the LHCb experiment in 2015. The
mesons are reconstructed in the decay mode . The
differential production cross-sections times the dimuon branching fractions are
measured as a function of the transverse momentum, , and
rapidity, , over the range GeV/c and .
The ratios of the cross-sections with respect to the LHCb measurement at
= 8 TeV are also determined. The measurements are compared with
theoretical predictions based on NRQCD
Updated measurements of exclusive J/ψ and ψ(2S) production cross-sections in pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV
The differential cross-section as a function of rapidity has been measured for the exclusive production of J/ψ and ψ(2S) mesons in proton–proton collisions at √s = 7 TeV, using data collected by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 930 pb−1. The cross-sections times branching fractions to two muons having pseudorapidities between 2.0 and 4.5 are measured to be where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The measurements agree with next-to-leading order QCD predictions as well as with models that include saturation effects
Measurement of the Λb0, Ξb-, and Ωb- Baryon Masses
Bottom baryons decaying to a J/ψ meson and a hyperon are reconstructed using 1.0  fb-1 of data collected in 2011 with the LHCb detector. Significant Λb0→J/ψΛ, Ξb-→J/ψΞ- and Ωb-→J/ψΩ- signals are observed and the corresponding masses are measured to be M(Λb0)=5619.53±0.13(stat.)±0.45(syst.)  MeV/c2, M(Ξb-)=5795.8±0.9(stat.)±0.4(syst.)  MeV/c2, M(Ωb-)=6046.0±2.2(stat.)±0.5(syst.)  MeV/c2, while the differences with respect to the Λb0 mass are M(Ξb-)-M(Λb0)=176.2±0.9(stat.)±0.1(syst.)  MeV/c2, M(Ωb-)-M(Λb0)=426.4±2.2(stat.)±0.4(syst.)  MeV/c2. These are the most precise mass measurements of the Λb0, Ξb- and Ωb- baryons to date. Averaging the above Λb0 mass measurement with that published by LHCb using 35  pb-1 of data collected in 2010 yields M(Λb0)=5619.44±0.13(stat.)±0.38(syst.)  MeV/c2
Studies of beauty baryon decays to D0ph− and Λ+ch− final states
Decays of beauty baryons to the D0ph− and Λ+ch− final states (where h indicates a pion or a kaon) are studied using a data sample of pp collisions, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0  fb−1, collected by the LHCb detector. The Cabibbo-suppressed decays Λ0b→D0pK− and Λ0b→Λ+cK− are observed, and their branching fractions are measured with respect to the decays Λ0b→D0pπ− and Λ0b→Λ+cπ−. In addition, the first observation is reported of the decay of the neutral beauty-strange baryon Ξ0b to the D0pK− final state, and a measurement of the Ξ0b mass is performed. Evidence of the Ξ0b→Λ+cK− decay is also reported
First measurement of time-dependent CP violation in B0 → K+K- decays
Direct and mixing-induced CP-violating asymmetries in B0 s → K+K- decays are measured for the first time using a data sample of pp collisions, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb-1, collected with the LHCb detector at a centre-of-mass energy of 7TeV. The results are CKK = 0.14 ± 0.11 ± 0.03 and SKK = 0.30 ± 0.12 ± 0.04, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. The corresponding quantities are also determined for B0→π +π- decays to be Cππ = -0.38±0.15±0.02 and Sππ = -0.71±0. 13±0.02, in good agreement with existing measurements
Measurement of the B ± production cross-section in pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV
The production of B ± mesons in proton-proton collisions at √s = 7TeVis studied using 35 pb -1 of data collected by the LHCb detector. The B ± mesons are reconstructed exclusively in the B ± → J/ΨK ± mode, with J/Ψ→μ +μ -. The differential production cross-section is measured as a function of the B ± transverse momentum in the ducial region 0 < pT < 40 GeV=c and with rapidity 2:0 < y < 4:5. The total cross-section, summing up B + and B -, is measured to be σ(pp → B ±X; 0 < pT < 40 GeV=c; 2:0 < y < 4:5) = 41:4 ± 1:5 (stat:) ± 3:1 (syst:) μb. Copyright CERN
Measurement of J/ψ production in pp collisions at √s=2.76 TeV
The production of J/ψ mesons is studied with the LHCb detector using data from pp collisions at √s=2.76 TeV corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 71 nb-1. The differential cross-section for inclusive J/ψ production is measured as a function of its transverse momentum p T. The cross-section in the fiducial region 0 < p T < 12 GeV/c and rapidity 2.0 < y < 4.5 is measured to be 5.6 ± 0.1 (stat) ± 0.4 (syst) μb, with the assumption of unpolarised J/ψ production. The fraction of J/ψ production from b-hadron decays is measured to be (7.1 ± 0.6 (stat) ± 0.7 (syst))%. © 2013 CERN for the benefit of the LHCb collaboration

Observation of B0s – B0s mixing and measurement of mixing frequencies using semileptonic B decays
The B0s and B0 mixing frequencies, Δms and Δmd, are measured using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb−1 collected by the LHCb experiment in pp collisions at a centre of mass energy of 7 TeV during 2011. Around 1.8 × 106 candidate events are selected of the type B0(s) → D−(s)μ+ (+ anything), where about half are from peaking and combinatorial backgrounds. To determine the B decay times, a correction is required for the momentum carried by missing particles, which is performed using a simulation-based statistical method. Associated production of muons or mesons allows us to tag the initialstate flavour and so to resolve oscillations due to mixing. We obtain Δms = (17.93 ± 0.22 (stat) ± 0.15 (syst)) ps−1, Δmd = (0.503 ± 0.011 (stat) ± 0.013(syst)) ps−1. The hypothesis of no oscillations is rejected by the equivalent of 5.8 standard deviations for B0s and 13.0 standard deviations for B0. This is the first observation of B0s mixing to be made using only semileptonic decays

Measurement of J/ψ production in pp collisions at √S = 7 TeV
The production of J/ψ mesons in proton-proton collisions at √S = 7 TeV is studied with the LHCb detector at the LHC. The differential cross-section for prompt J/ψ production is measured as a function of the J/ψ transverse momentum pT and rapidity y in the fiducial region pT ∈ [0; 14] GeV/c and y ∈ [2.0; 4.5]. The differential cross-section and fraction of J/ψ from b-hadron decays are also measured in the same pT and y ranges. The analysis is based on a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.2 pb&-1. The measured cross-sections integrated over the fiducial region are 10.52 ± 0.04 ± 1.40+1.64 &-2.20 μb for prompt J/ψ production and 1.14 ± 0.01 ± 0.16 μb for J/ψ from b-hadron decays, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The prompt J/ψ production cross-section is obtained assuming no J/ψ polarisation and the third error indicates the acceptance uncertainty due to this assumption
