In this data article, we present the single-crystal XRD data of phenanthrene-9,10-dicarbonitriles. Detailed structure analysis and photophysical properties were discussed in our previous study, "Intermolecular interactions-photophysical properties relationships in phenanthrene-9,10-dicarbonitrile assemblies" (Afanasenko et al., 2020). The data include the intra- and intermolecular bond lengths and angles. (c) 2019 The Author(s). Published by Elsevier Inc. Structures and photophysical properties of 3,4-diaryl-1H-pyrrol-2,5-diimines and 2,3-diarylmaleimides

Structural features of 3,4-diaryl-1H-pyrrol-2,5-diimines and their derivatives have been studied by molecular spectroscopy techniques, single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and DFT calculations. According to the theoretical calculations, the diimino tautomeric form of 3,4-diaryl-1H-pyrrol-2,5-diimines is more stable in solution than the imino-enamino form. We also found that the structurally related 2,3 exist in the solid state in the dimeric diketo form. 3,4-Diary1-1H-pyrrol-2,5-diimines and 2,3-diarylmaleimides exhibit fluorescence in the blue region of the visible spectrum. The fluorescence spectra have large Stokes shifts. Aryl substituents at the 3,4-positions of 1H-pyrrol-2,5-diimine do not significantly affect fluorescence properties. The insertion of donor substituents into 2,3diarylmaleimides leads to bathochromic shift of emission bands with hyperchromic effect. (C) 2017 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved

Environmental Aspects of the Circular Economy

The purpose of this article is to study the environmental aspects of the circular economy as a phenomenon that is quite relevant today in the light of the changing economic realities under the influence of coronavirus infection and related restrictions. Indeed, today all countries of the world find themselves in a situation where supply chains that have been established for decades are interrupted or degraded due to problems associated with forced lockdowns imposed by individual states, as well as due to the so-called "container crisis". At the same time, an important factor is also the fact that in 2020, due to the forced shutdown of a number of the world's largest manufacturing enterprises, the ecological background of the planet has become more favorable than in the pre-pandemic period. In this regard, it is very important today, against the background of improving the economic development paths of each country, which will be based on the principles of a circular economy to meet the needs of manufacturing enterprises, to take into account environmental aspects that will inevitably play a key role in the intensification of production

Trends in Economic Development and Education of Future Economists

It is known that the human factor is one of the most important production factors contributing to economic growth, interest in investing in education has increased.  In modern conditions, recognition of the effective role of investment in education in achieving comprehensive economic and social development has intensified. Many Governments have realized the value of investing in education and the need to create knowledge based on the benefits of economic growth. The profession of an economist in modern conditions is a rather promising area of training in higher education. Of particular interest in modern conditions is the need to analyze the existing economic conditions, when the epidemic of coronavirus infection radically changed the established trade and production ties. For this reason, the need to educate and train future specialists in the field of economics, who possess both theoretical and practical knowledge, is quite high, since the future of many countries of the world depends on them and they will be able to develop the necessary anti-crisis plan for states to break the economic impasse

EB1 and EB3 promote cilia biogenesis by several centrosome-related mechanisms

The microtubule (MT) plus-end-tracking protein EB1 is required for assembly of primary cilia in mouse fibroblasts, but the mechanisms involved and the roles of the related proteins EB2 and EB3 in ciliogenesis are unknown. Using protein depletion experiments and expression of dominant-negative constructs we show here that EB1 and EB3, but not EB2, are required for assembly of primary cilia in cultured cells. Electron microscopy and live imaging showed that cells lacking EB1 or EB3 are defective in MT minus-end anchoring at the centrosome and/or basal body, and possess abnormally short cilia stumps surrounded by vesicles. Further, GST pull-down assays, mass spectrometry and immunoprecipitation indicated that EB1 and EB3 interact with proteins implicated in MT minus-end anchoring or vesicular trafficking to the cilia base, suggesting that EB1 and EB3 promote ciliogenesis by facilitating such trafficking. In addition, we show that EB3 is localized to the tip of motile cilia in bronchial epithelial cells and affects the formation of centriole-associated rootlet filaments. Collectively, our findings indicate that EBs affect biogenesis of cilia by several centrosome-related mechanisms and support the idea that different EB1–EB3 dimer species have distinct functions within cells
