EDUKASI SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN RUMAH SAKIT (SIMRS) KEPADA PEGAWAI PENDAFTARAN TENTANG MUTU PENDAFTARAN RAWAT JALAN DI RSU HAJI MEDAN
This community service aims to increase understanding of Health Information Management Information Systems (SIMRS) and its role. Measuring quality covers many dimensions and reliability is key - ensuring fast, accurate and satisfactory service. Achieving these functions requires the implementation of a web-based information system known as a hospital information management system. The methodology used includes a focus group discussion (FGD), which reveals that the implementation of SIMRS, especially in the implementation of RME, improves the quality of health services and operational efficiency in outpatient registration. The most important benefits identified are enhanced collaboration between departments. A final evaluation will be done to evaluate the participants and #039; understanding the importance of electronic patient records in improving work processes. Evaluation includes questions to all participants and drawing conclusions from the results of the analysis and evaluation. In conclusion, the community service confirms that the use of electronic patient records in Haji Medan Hospital facilitates the tasks of the staff
COBRA framework to evaluate e-government services: A citizen-centric perspective
E-government services involve many stakeholders who have different objectives that can have an impact on success. Among these stakeholders, citizens are the primary stakeholders of government activities. Accordingly, their satisfaction plays an important role in e-government success. Although several models have been proposed to assess the success of e-government services through measuring users' satisfaction levels, they fail to provide a comprehensive evaluation model. This study provides an insight and critical analysis of the extant literature to identify the most critical factors and their manifested variables for user satisfaction in the provision of e-government services. The various manifested variables are then grouped into a new quantitative analysis framework consisting of four main constructs: cost; benefit; risk and opportunity (COBRA) by analogy to the well-known SWOT qualitative analysis framework. The COBRA measurement scale is developed, tested, refined and validated on a sample group of e-government service users in Turkey. A structured equation model is used to establish relationships among the identified constructs, associated variables and users' satisfaction. The results confirm that COBRA framework is a useful approach for evaluating the success of e-government services from citizens' perspective and it can be generalised to other perspectives and measurement contexts. Using webcrawling of publicly available websites to assess E-commerce relationships
We investigate e-commerce success factors concerning their impact on the success of commerce transactions between businesses companies. In scientific literature, many e-commerce success factors are introduced. Most of them are focused on companies' website quality. They are evaluated concerning companies' success in the business-to- consumer (B2C) environment where consumers choose their preferred e-commerce websites based on these success factors e.g. website content quality, website interaction, and website customization. In contrast to previous work, this research focuses on the usage of existing e-commerce success factors for predicting successfulness of business-to-business (B2B) ecommerce. The introduced methodology is based on the identification of semantic textual patterns representing success factors from the websites of B2B companies. The successfulness of the identified success factors in B2B ecommerce is evaluated by regression modeling. As a result, it is shown that some B2C e-commerce success factors also enable the predicting of B2B e-commerce success while others do not. This contributes to the existing literature concerning ecommerce success factors. Further, these findings are valuable for B2B e-commerce websites creation
Trends in quality management research in higher education institutions
The purpose of this study is to determine the state of research in quality management in higher education institutions based on a review of the academic literature. The aim is to provide universities with the best evidence for informing their focus and models for quality improvement. Despite quality’s role growing in importance as universities strive to compete in an increasingly underfunded market for students and research funds the review shows that current research is limited in volume and scope.
To ensure the widest coverage in our systematic literature review we use three databases: ScienceDirect, ABI/Inform, and Emerald.
The findings show that the three most common topics are quality management implementation issues, quality management models, techniques and tools, and quality management dimensions. The key quality management enabling dimensions found are: people management, process management and information and analysis, while the results dimension is predominantly focused on an understanding of stakeholders’ requirements and feedback on their perceptions of performance. We find in this literature that students are discussed as both end customers as graduates and participants in the learning process who have views on their experience. Also provided is an analysis that shows popular journal outlets, research methodologies used and country focus. The paper concludes with recommendations for the development of quality management for universities, and a future research agenda.

Evaluation of e-learning web sites using fuzzy axiomatic design based approach
High quality web site has been generally recognized as a critical enabler to conduct online business. Numerous studies exist in the literature to measure the business performance in relation to web site quality. In this paper, an axiomatic design based approach for fuzzy group decision making is adopted to evaluate the quality of e-learning web sites. Another multi-criteria decision making technique, namely fuzzy TOPSIS, is applied in order to validate the outcome. The methodology proposed in this paper has the advantage of incorporating requirements and enabling reductions in the problem size, as compared to fuzzy TOPSIS. A case study focusing on Turkish e-learning websites is presented, and based on the empirical findings, managerial implications and recommendations for future research are offered

Developing a quality assurance model for small military institutions
Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) has a limited manpower, land to manoeuvre and resources. This reason has led the researcher to investigate the effective dimensions of discovering a model for quality assurance in higher education within a military context in Bahrain to compensate for these limitations. The research seeks to assess, through a case study how newly established education institute such as Royal Command and Staff College (RCSC) adapt and assimilates quality assurance systems. Using action research techniques, this case study analyses continual conceptualisation, implementation and evaluation of quality assurance actions over time. The cyclical process through time involves development of a model of quality assurance systems, implementation and evaluation. The study covers the period of the training years 2005/ 2006 to 2006/ 2007. Owing to the nature of this research and study of the complexity of organizational behaviour and change with active intervention, a case study design is adopted. This research approach involves a triangulation of multiple research designs, methods and analysis, which comprise Action Research Group Process, Survey Instruments (questionnaires), and Focus Group Interviews. The study finds that a strategic model of quality implementation emerges as a response to the inputs from the dynamic environment, the aspects of which are particularly ascertained by the actions of committed instructors

Sustainability experiments in the agri-food system : uncovering the factors of new governance and collaboration success
In recent years, research, society and industry recognize the need to transform the agri-food system towards sustainability. Within this process, sustainability experiments play a crucial role in transforming the structure, culture and practices. In literature, much attention is given to new business models, even if the transformation of conventional firms toward sustainability may offer opportunities to accelerate the transformation. Further acceleration could be achieved through collaboration of multiple actors across the agri-food system, but this calls for a systems approach. Therefore, we developed and applied a new sustainability experiment systems approach (SESA) consisting of an analytical framework that allows a reflective evaluation and cross-case analysis of multi-actor governance networks based on business and learning evaluation criteria. We performed a cross-case analysis of four agri-food sustainability experiments in Flanders to test and validate SESA. Hereby, the key factors of the success of collaboration and its performance were identified at the beginning of a sustainability experiment. Some of the key factors identified were risk sharing and the drivers to participate. We are convinced that these results may be used as an analytical tool for researchers, a tool to support and design new initiatives for policymakers, and a reflective tool for participating actors
