Higher harmonic anisotropic flow measurements of charged particles in Pb-Pb collisions at 2.76 TeV
We report on the first measurement of the triangular , quadrangular
, and pentagonal charged particle flow in Pb-Pb collisions at 2.76
TeV measured with the ALICE detector at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. We show
that the triangular flow can be described in terms of the initial spatial
anisotropy and its fluctuations, which provides strong constraints on its
origin. In the most central events, where the elliptic flow and
have similar magnitude, a double peaked structure in the two-particle azimuthal
correlations is observed, which is often interpreted as a Mach cone response to
fast partons. We show that this structure can be naturally explained from the

The uncertainty estimation for the neural network model of the nonlinear measuring transducer
Рассматривается оценка суммарной стандартной и расширенной неопределенности нейросетевой модели нелинейного измерительного преобразователя на базе трехслойного персептрона, источником которой являются неопределенности оценок синаптических весов нейросети. Исследованы характеристики неопределенности нейросетевой модели путем имитационного моделирования на ЭВМ, проведен сравнительный анализ с неопределенностью полиномиальной модели.Розглядається оцінка сумарної стандартної та розширеної невизначеності нейромережевої моделі нелінійного вимірювального перетворювача на базі тришарового персептрона, джерелом якої є невизначеності оцінок синаптичних ваг нейромережі. The compensation of the thermistor nonlinearity with artificial neural network
Предложен метод коррекции функции преобразования полупроводникового терморезистора с использованием компенсатора нелинейности на базе трехслойного персептрона. С помощью имитационного моделирования на ЭВМ исследована работоспособность предложенного метода, проведен сравнительный анализ с полиномиальными компенсаторами нелинейности.Запропоновано метод корекції функції перетворення напівпровідникового терморезистора з використанням компенсатора нелінійності на базі тришарового персептрона. За допомогою імітаційного моделювання на ЕОМ досліджено працездатність запропонованого метода, проведено порівняльний аналіз з поліноміальними компенсаторами нелінійності.The thermistor transfer function correction method with compensator of nonlinearity based on three-layer perceptron is proposed. Technical Design Report for PANDA Electromagnetic Calorimeter (EMC)
This document presents the technical layout and the envisaged performance of the Electromagnetic Calorimeter (EMC) for the PANDA target spectrometer. The EMC has been designed to meet the physics goals of the PANDA experiment, which is being developed for the Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research (FAIR) at Darmstadt, Germany. The performance figures are based on extensive prototype tests and radiation hardness studies. The document shows that the EMC is ready for construction up to the front-end electronics interface
