INCREASE IN THE EFFICIENCY OF FUNCTIONING OF PROCESSING LINES BASED ON THE SYSTEM ANALYSIS OF STABILITY OF SPECIFIC OPERATIONS
To develop processing lines, it is necessary to calculate the level of integrity of technological systems and determine the stability of subsystems at a certain level of stability. The complex analysis allows us to study a change in the entropy of the system (the growth of system stability) by describing the mechanism of structural information accumulation. Identifying the ranges of variation of adjustable operating parameters using the proposed approach for energy and resource saving and predicting the stability of the line at the design stage, reducing the subjectivity of estimation of technologies and their hardware design, is original and, in this regard, relevant. The studies were conducted to justify the estimation of the stability of the technological flow as a system and its subsystems in their interconnection at a certain level of stability using the method for estimating fuzzy entropy on the basis of analysis of material and technical flows. The study objects are the integrity of technological and technical systems, the stability of processes, operations and equipment operation. As a result of the analysis of technological flows and a change in the entropy of the technical system, the mechanism of accumulation of structural information entropy has been studied. The carried out analytical and experimental studies have confirmed the possibility of predicting the stability of the operation of technical and technological systems, as well as the expediency of determining the ranges of variation in the parameters of operation of the lines, technological limits and the quality indicators of the finished and semi-finished products. Thus, this method is recommended for use in the food industry
Powerful switch based on CX1525A thyratron
Thyratrons of obsolete types TGI1-2500/50, TGI1-2500/35, TGI1-5000/50 are used in modulators of NSC KIPT of as a switch, their service life has expired. To update the modulator we selected thyratron СХ1525А of company EЕV, which technical parameters met the requirements: switched current 2.3 kA, anode voltage up to 40 kV, pulse frequency up to 300 Hz, pulse duration 5 μs. Thyratron switchboard based on СХ1525А was de-signed and constructed. The results of study the switch operation in mode of active accelerator are reported.В модуляторах ННЦ ХФТИ в качестве коммутатора используются тиратроны типа ТГИ1-2500/50, ТГИ1-2500/35, ТГИ1-5000/50, ресурс которых исчерпан. Для модификации модулятора выбран тиратрон СХ1525А производства фирмы EЕV, по техническим характеристикам удовлетворяющий параметрам: коммутируемый ток 2,3 кA; анодное напряжение до 40 кВ; частота посылок до 300 Гц; длительность импульса 5 мкс. Проведена разработка и изготовление тиратронной стойки на основе СХ1525А. Приведены результаты исследования работы коммутатора в режиме действующего ускорителя.У модуляторах ННЦ ХФТІ в якості комутатора використовуються тиратрони типу ТГІ1-2500/50, ТГІ1-2500/35, ТГИ1-5000/50, ресурс яких було вичерпано. Для модифікації модулятора було вибрано тиратрон СХ1525А виробництва фірми ЕЕV, який по технічним характеристикам відповідає параметрам: комутуємий струм 2,3 кА; анодна напруга до 40 кВ; частота посилок до 300 Гц, тривалість імпульсу 5 мкс. Проведена розробка та виготовлення тиратронної стойки на основі СХ1525А. Приведено результати дослідження роботи комутатора в режимі діючого прискорювача

Modulators performed according to linear circuit with PFN depletion via pulse transformer are used in NSC
KIPT active electron accelerators. Switch and its components determine the reliability of a plant. Hydrogen thyratrons
providing the current switching up to 2.3 kA at anode voltage up to 40 kV are used as a switch in modulators
of technological accelerators. The results of study of operational reliability of switches in active accelerators are

Search for jet extinction in the inclusive jet-pT spectrum from proton-proton collisions at s=8 TeV

Further distribution of this work must maintain attribution to the author(s) and the published articles title, journal citation, and DOI.The first search at the LHC for the extinction of QCD jet production is presented, using data collected with the CMS detector corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 10.7 fb−1 of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV. The extinction model studied in this analysis is motivated by the search for signatures of strong gravity at the TeV scale (terascale gravity) and assumes the existence of string couplings in the strong-coupling limit. In this limit, the string model predicts the suppression of all high-transverse-momentum standard model processes, including jet production, beyond a certain energy scale. To test this prediction, the measured transverse-momentum spectrum is compared to the theoretical prediction of the standard model. No significant deficit of events is found at high transverse momentum. A 95% confidence level lower limit of 3.3 TeV is set on the extinction mass scale
Searches for electroweak neutralino and chargino production in channels with Higgs, Z, and W bosons in pp collisions at 8 TeV
Searches for supersymmetry (SUSY) are presented based on the electroweak pair production of neutralinos and charginos, leading to decay channels with Higgs, Z, and W bosons and undetected lightest SUSY particles (LSPs). The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of about 19.5 fb(-1) of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV collected in 2012 with the CMS detector at the LHC. The main emphasis is neutralino pair production in which each neutralino decays either to a Higgs boson (h) and an LSP or to a Z boson and an LSP, leading to hh, hZ, and ZZ states with missing transverse energy (E-T(miss)). A second aspect is chargino-neutralino pair production, leading to hW states with E-T(miss). The decays of a Higgs boson to a bottom-quark pair, to a photon pair, and to final states with leptons are considered in conjunction with hadronic and leptonic decay modes of the Z and W bosons. No evidence is found for supersymmetric particles, and 95% confidence level upper limits are evaluated for the respective pair production cross sections and for neutralino and chargino mass values
SYNTHESIS AND PROPERTIES OF NEMATIC LIQUID CRYSTALS EXHIBITING A POSITIVE DIELECTRIC ANISOTROPY
Des séries de cristaux liquides comportant des groupements benzonitrile et cinnamonitrile en position para ont été préparées. Leurs températures de transition et leurs constantes diélectriques ont été déterminées. L'introduction dans des cristaux liquides d'un groupe nitrile en position para ne change pas de manière significative leurs stabilités thermiques, mais augmente considérablement leurs anisotropies diélectriques. L'adjonction d'une double liaison dans des mésomorphes accroît leurs stabilités thermiques mais joue très peu sur leurs anisotropies diélectriques.A series of liquid crystalline materials comprising 4-substituted benzonitriles and cinnamonitriles were prepared, and their transition temperatures and dielectric constants were investigated. The introduction of a 4-cyano group in a liquid crystal (LC) molecule is not accompanied by significant changes in mesophase thermal stabilities but it leads to materials with a considerable positive dielectric anisotropy. Introduction of an additional double bond in LC molecules increases mesophase thermal stabilities without significant changes in their dielectric anisotropies
FUNCTIONAL TECHNOLOGICAL PROPERTIES AND ELECTROPHORETIC COMPOSITION OF MODIFIED WHEAT GLUTEN
This article provides data on correlation between functional technological properties of native and modified wheat gluten and its specific molecular weights, with an objective to develop control methods for adjustment of physical and chemical specifications of protein products. We used methods for chemical composition analysis in protein products, protein electrophoresis (PAGE), and DWG modifications. We used enzymatic preparations (EP) for DWG properties modification: endoprotease EP (Protamex®) and Flavourzyme 500 MG, which contains both endoprotease and endopeptidase simultaneously. It is shown that native DWG underperforms in its functional technological properties in comparison to sodium caseinate, soy flour, soy concentrate, and egg albumin, therefore its properties are modified by limited proteolysis with protein hydrolysis degree of 1.10-3.41%. Our findings indicate that hydrolysis duration might be used to control DWG properties: to increase solubility, foam forming capacity (FFS) up to the respective values demonstrated by egg albumin, and at the same time, to reduce water- and fat-binding capacity and fat emulsifying capacity. DWG with improved FFS contains single-chain polypeptides, both with low molecular weight (МE) (under 40 kDа), and with medium ME (40-60 kDа). Among multi-chain peptides with more pronounced foam-forming capacity, presence of single-chain peptides with low ME (12-16 kDа) seems more preferable than polypeptides with medium (27-39 kDа) and high ME (69-108 kDа). Revealed regularities in correlation of DWG functional properties and ME / composition specificity are intended to be used in DWG modification for further various applications in food industry, mostly for pastries production

3-Ethylhexahydropyrazino[3,2,1-jk]carbazole is converted into hexahydro[1,4]diazocino[7,8,1-jk]carb-azoles by the action of methyl propiolate and acetylacetylene in acetonitrile and into 1-methoxy-9-(β- vinylethylamino)ethylcarbazoles by the action of acetylenedicarboxylic ester and methyl propiolate in methanol. 3-Benzyl-substituted pyrazinocarbazole does not react with alkynes. © 2012 Springer Science+Business Media, Inc
