It also describes the work of car accident experts. The main purpose of the teoretical part of this work is to describe how a damaged person acts in the case of a car accident, how insurance companies act an in the case of insured accident of motor vehicles and how they estimate damages to the car or damages to human health and how looks an expert opinion elaborated on the request of an insurance company. In practical part of this work is given an example of road accident, the assessment of damage and an expert opinion on suspicion of the insurance fraud.V diplomové práci je popsán postup pojišťovny a pojištěného při vzniku dopravní nehody a práce znalců v oboru dopravy. Cílem teoretické části práce je nastínit, jakým způsobem postupuje poškozený, pokud dojde k dopravní nehodě, jak postupují pojišťovny při vyřizování pojistných událostí motorových vozidel, jakým způsobem je následně stanovena výše škody na vozidle nebo na zdraví a jak vypadá znalecký posudek vypracovaný na základě žádosti pojišťovny. V praktické části práce je uvedena dopravní nehoda, ke které bylo nutno určit výši škody a pro podezření z pojistného podvodu byl vypracován také znalecký posudek

Abuse of Dominant Position in the ICT Sector: A European Perspective Abstrakt Koncept zneužití dominantního postavení se vztahuje k obchodním praktikám, k nimž se může uchýlit dominantní hráč na trhu za účelem udržení nebo posílení své pozice, a jež jsou zakázané dle článku 102 Smlouvy o fungování Evropské unie. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá teorií a rozhodovací praxí zneužití dominantního postavení v EU, a to se zvláštním zaměřením na oblast informačních a komunikačních technologií (ICT). ICT průmysl je jedním z nejrychleji se rozvíjejících a na scéně se objevuje mnoho silných podniků, které pro sebe často vytvářejí zcela nové trhy. Za takových podmínek roste riziko zneužití dominance, což je ostatně důvodem proč mnoho přelomových rozhodnutí z posledních let bylo spojeno s tímto sektorem. Jelikož nejen produkty, ale i obchodní modely těchto podniků jsou vysoce inovativní, musí s nimi soutěžní politika přiměřeně držet krok. Tato práce nejprve představuje ekonomická východiska a cíle současné regulace hospodářské soutěže v EU. Následuje rozbor jednotlivých kroků při posuzovaní pozice vyšetřovaného podniku na relevantním trhu a následně zákonnosti jeho jednání. This master's thesis provides insight into theory and decisional practice of abuse of dominant position within the EU with particular focus on the area of information and communication technologies (ICT). The ICT industry belongs among the fastest developing, with many new powerful market players emerging, often creating entirely new markets for themselves. This is where a potential risk for an abuse of dominance occurs and why many of the breakthrough cases in the previous years have been related to this sector. Since not only their products but also their business models are innovative, the competition policy must advance accordingly. This thesis firstly introduces the economic background and the policy objectives of contemporary EU competition rules. It is followed by a step-by-step examination of the assessment on the position of the investigated firm in the relevant market and the legality of the practice in question. The Role of Retinoic Acid in Tolerance and Immunity

Vitamin A elicits a broad array of immune responses through its metabolite, retinoic acid (RA). Recent evidence indicates that loss of RA leads to impaired immunity, whereas excess RA can potentially promote inflammatory disorders. In this review, we discuss recent advances showcasing the crucial contributions of RA to both immunological tolerance and the elicitation of adaptive immune responses. Further, we provide a comprehensive overview of the cell types and factors that control the production of RA and discuss how host perturbations may affect the ability of this metabolite to control tolerance and immunity or to instigate pathology

Constraining long-term denudation and faulting history in intraplate regions by multisystem thermochronology: An example of the Sudetic Marginal Fault (Bohemian Massif, central Europe)

The Rychlebské hory Mountain region in the Sudetes (NE Bohemian Massif) provides a natural laboratory for studies of postorogenic landscape evolution. This work reveals both the exhumation history of the region and the paleoactivity along the Sudetic Marginal Fault (SMF) using zircon (U-Th)/He (ZHe), apatite fission track (AFT), and apatite (U-Th)/He (AHe) dating of crystalline basement and postorogenic sedimentary samples. Most significantly, and in direct contradiction of traditional paleogeographic reconstructions, this work has found evidence of a large Cretaceous sea and regional burial (to >6.5 km) of the Carboniferous-Permian basement in the Late Cretaceous (~95–80 Ma). During the burial by sediments of the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin System, the SMF acted as a normal fault as documented by offset ZHe ages across the fault. At 85–70 Ma, the basin was inverted, Cretaceous strata eroded, and basement blocks were exhumed to the near surface at a rate of ~300 m/Ma as evidenced by Late Cretaceous–Paleocene AFT ages and thermal modeling results. There is no appreciable difference in AFT and AHe ages across the fault, suggesting that the SMF acted as a reverse fault during exhumation. In the late Eocene–Oligocene, the basement was locally heated to <70°C by magmatic activity related to opening of the Eger rift system. Neogene or younger thermal activity was not recorded in the thermochronological data, confirming that late Cenozoic uplift and erosion of the basement blocks was limited to less than ∼1.5 km in the study area

Ekonomický vývoj Slovenska po rozdělení ČSFR

Tato práce seznamuje s ekonomickým vývojem Slovenska od počátku jeho samostatnosti do roku 2007 na základě vybraných makroekonomických ukazatelů. Jednotlivé kapitoly jsou věnovány hrubému domácímu produktu, inflaci, nezaměstnanosti, veřejným financím a platební bilanci, zhodnocují dosavadní vývoj těchto veličin a seznamují s jeho příčinami. Vybrané kapitoly zároveň také ukazují perspektivy Slovenska z hlediska přijetí eura v roce 2009

Operating Level of Management of F&R Service of South Bohemian Region and Its Functioning in the Framework of Integrated Rescue System

Import 04/07/2011Diplomová práce se zabývá operační úrovní řízení integrovaného záchranného systému v Jihočeském kraji. Popisuje historický vývoj této úrovně řízení. Definuje kapacitu a minimální stavy příslušníků na směně operačního a informačního střediska Hasičského záchranného sboru Jihočeského kraje. Určené hodnoty porovnává s dlouhodobým průměrem i s extrémními výkyvy při povodních. Dále se zabývá, tvorbou výstupů z havarijních plánů. V přílohách práce jsou z těchto výstupů vytvořeny pomůcky pro vedoucího směny ve formě kontrolních seznamů pro řešení mimořádných událostí na Jaderné elektrárně Temelín.The thesis deals with operational level management of the Integrated Rescue System in the South Bohemia Region. It describes the historical development of this level of management. Thesis defines the capacity and the minimum number of the staff on regional operational and information center of F&R Service. Determined values were compared with the long-term average and with extreme fluctuations in the floods in the year 2009. Also deals with the creation outputs from emergency plans.
