Fixed points and boundary behaviour of the Koenigs function

We analyze the relationship between the fixed points of different iterates of an analytic self-map of the unit disk. We show that, in general, a boundary fixed point of such a function is not a fixed point of its iterates. However, in the context of fractional iteration, all the iterates have the same fixed points. We also present results, in terms of the Koenigs function, of self-maps whose behaviour are not so extreme as above

Aleksandrov-Clark measures and semigroups of analytic functions in the unit disc

In this paper we prove a formula describing the infinitesimal generator of a continuous semigroup (\v_t) of holomorphic self-maps of the unit disc with respect to a boundary regular fixed point. The result is based on Alexandrov-Clark measures techniques. In particular we prove that the Alexandrov-Clark measure of (\v_t) at a boundary regular fixed points is differentiable (in the weak$^\ast$-topology) with respect to $t$.Comment: 10 page

Infinitesimal generators of semigroups with prescribed boundary fixed points

We study infinitesimal generators of one-parameter semigroups in the unit disk D having prescribed boundary regular fixed points. Using an explicit representation of such infinitesimal generators in combination with Krein–Milman Theory we obtain new sharp inequalities relating spectral values at the fixed points with other important quantities having dynamical meaning. La necesidad de una fundamentación ética en la contabilidad

A la ética aplicada le precede la ética como filosofía moral, que requiere de una fundamen-tación racional para generar principios que puedan luego ser aplicados a la vida cotidiana. En la mayor parte del mundo el ejercicio de la contabilidad se rige, además de las normas técnicas, por normas éticas que contemplan una serie de principios que suponen garantía del comportamiento moral de los profesionales. Sin embargo, continúan ocurriendo fallos morales en el ejercicio de los contadores, como se evidencia en conocidos casos internacionales. Este artículo reflexiona la idea de que no se ha realizado una fundamentación ética que permita de-rivar normas prácticas de los asuntos morales vinculados a la contabilidad y presenta algunas teorías cuyos fundamentos podrían vincularse a la ética de los profesionales contable

Metodología Misionológica en Egipto-civilizaciones más antiguas de la tierra

Egypt, being one of the oldest civilizations on earth, represents in its study a challenging approach to its history and legendary culture. Its various expressions in the field of archaeological legacy have always amazed humanity to the present, in the midst of a mystical and captivating sphere for research. It is surprising to understand that Egypt experienced the very early presence of Christianity, in the missiological advance carried out by Mark, according to religious tradition. This fact confirms the slogan that the gospel was being taken to the ends of the earth in its discipling fulfillment designated by Jesus Christ, with persecution being the indicated means for disseminating the message of salvation. The missionary undertaking of the Adventist Church in the first missiological movements reached the territory of Egypt in the 19th century with the work of volunteer missionaries from Europe motivated by the example and advice of John Nevin Andrews, the first pioneer in lands foreign to the United States. The missionary methodologies used to reach Egypt were varied. From the work with foreigners, the implementation of health and food centers, the important function of the distribution of publications to the carrying out of evangelism campaigns in an open and direct way, were the methods used by the pioneers. There is no doubt that God guided this entire missiological process and, providentially, accompanied and arranged all the means for the message of salvation to reach the Egyptian territory in the midst of a legendary and always challenging culture for the missionaries who arrived in these lands of pharaohs and emperors. This data corroborates the thought that the fulfillment of the mission is in the hands of God at all times.Egipto al ser una de las civilizaciones más antiguas de la tierra, representa en su estudio, un desafiante abordaje en su historia y cultura legendaria. Sus diversas expresiones en el ámbito del legado arqueológico, siempre han dejado asombrada a la humanidad hasta el presente, en medio de una esfera mística y cautivante para la investigación. Es sorprendente comprender que Egipto experimentó la presencia muy temprana por parte del cristianismo, en el avance misionológico llevado adelante por Marcos, según la tradición religiosa. Este hecho constata la consigna de que el evangelio estaba siendo llevado hasta los confines de la tierra en su cumplimiento discipulador designado por Jesucristo, siendo la persecución el medio señalado para la diseminación del mensaje de salvación. El emprendimiento misionero de la Iglesia Adventista en los primeros movimientos misionológicos alcanza al territorio de Egipto en el siglo XIX con el trabajo de misioneros voluntarios de Europa motivados por el ejemplo y el asesoramiento de John Nevin Andrews, primer pionero en las tierras extranjeras a Estados Unidos. Las metodologías misioneras utilizadas para alcanzar Egipto fueron variadas. Desde el trabajo con los extranjeros, la implementación de centros de salud y alimentación, la importante función de la distribución de las publicaciones hasta la realización de campañas de evangelismo de manera abierta y directa, fueron los métodos empleados por los pioneros. No cabe duda de que Dios guio todo este proceso misionológico y, providencialmente acompañó y dispuso todos los medios para que el mensaje de salvación llegase al territorio egipcio en medio de una cultura legendaria y siempre desafiante para los misioneros que llegaron a estas tierras de faraones y emperadores. Este dato corrobora el pensamiento de que el cumplimiento de la misión está en las manos de Dios en todo momento

Un acercamiento misionológico a los talibanes procesos consideraciones y pensamientos

The implementation of a proposal for a friendly approach to the issue of salvation towards the Taliban represents a marked challenge, due to the context in which the thought of this Islamic current is built. The highlighted emphasis on Muslim religious constructs that are interwoven with Taliban society, politics and worldview, leaves a narrow angle of perspective for a missiological approach to this sector. However, it is necessary to take advantage of the related connection points, basically in religious terms, to establish a path of friendly rapprochement with the Taliban. In this missiological process, it is necessary to consider that the Taliban are people who have the same needs, dreams and desires as anyone in the world. And, that the missionary method of Jesus is adaptable to this missionary purpose, meditating the steps to take in a prudent, patient way and with a solid and deep understanding of the biblical truths internalized in the missionary plan. It should be noted that the missiological process towards the Taliban is complex and very limited and, considering the edges of this endeavor, one must fully trust divine providence to create access routes towards the apparently impenetrable thought of the Taliban line, avoiding any attitude of criticism and assuming the risks that the act of taking the gospel to the ends of the world represents according to the designs of the Great Commission.La implementación de una propuesta de acercamiento amigable con el tema de la salvación hacia los talibanes, representa un marcado desafío, debido al contexto en el que se construye el pensamiento de esta corriente islámica. El resaltado énfasis de los constructos religiosos musulmanes que se entretejen con la sociedad, la política y la cosmovisión talibán, dejan un estrecho ángulo de perspectiva para realizar un acercamiento misionológico hacia este sector. Sin embargo, es preciso aprovechar los puntos de conexión afines, básicamente en términos religiosos, para entablar un camino de acercamiento amigable hacia los talibanes. En este proceso misionológico, es preciso considerar que los talibanes son personas que tienen las mismas necesidades, sueños y anhelos que cualquier persona en el mundo. Y, que el método misionero de Jesús es adaptable a este propósito misionológico, meditando los pasos a dar de manera prudente, paciente y con una comprensión sólida y profunda de las verdades bíblicas internalizadas en el plan misionero. Cabe señalar que, el proceso misionológico hacia los talibanes es complejo y muy limitado y, considerando las aristas de este emprendimiento se debe confiar plenamente en la providencia divina para crear vías de acceso hacia el pensamiento aparentemente impenetrable de la línea talibán, evitando toda actitud de crítica y asumiendo los riesgos que representa el hecho de llevar el evangelio hasta los confines del mundo según los designios de la Gran Comisión

Determinantes de la eficiencia técnica de explotaciones de frijol ubicadas en Portuguesa, Venezuela

Se evaluó la eficiencia técnica de explotaciones agrarias con producción de frijol ubicadas en el Sector La Palaciera, municipio San Genaro de Boconoíto del estado Portuguesa, Venezuela. De la muestra de 30 fincas se recabó, mediante cuestionarios, información de cinco insumos y un producto, que corresponden al cultivo sembrado en el año 2010, así como de variables de tipo socioeconómico y geoespacial. Se empleó el método Análisis Envolvente de Datos (DEA, por sus siglas en inglés), con un modelo orientado al producto. Según los resultados, en promedio, la eficiencia técnica global (ETG) fue de 81,2%, desglosada en una eficiencia técnica pura (ETP) de 86,0% y una eficiencia de escala (EE) de 95,1%. Las ineficiencias causadas por la tecnología son mayores que las generadas por un tamaño o escala de producción subóptimo. Según las metas del plan formulado para la muestra de fincas, se puede elevar la producción agregada de frijol de 234.970 kg a 289.200 kg, lo que supone un incremento de 54.230 kg (23,1%), sin aumentar la cantidad de insumos aplicados actualmente. Las variables socioeconómicas y las de tipo geoespacial no determinaron los niveles de eficiencia técnica de las fincas

Average radial integrability spaces of analytic functions

Article number 109262In this paper we introduce the family of spaces RM(p, q), 1 ≤ p, q ≤ +∞. They are spaces of holomorphic functions in the unit disc with average radial integrability. This family contains the classical Hardy spaces (when p = ∞) and Bergman spaces (when p = q). We characterize the inclusion between RM(p1, q1) and RM(p2, q2) depending on the parameters. For 1 < p, q < ∞, our main result provides a characterization of the dual spaces of RM(p, q) by means of the boundedness of the Bergman projection. We show that RM(p, q) is separable if and only if q < +∞. In this paper we characterize the boundedness, compactness, and weak compactness of the integration operators Tg(f)(z) = ˆ z 0 f(w)g (w) dw acting on the average radial integrability spaces RM(p, q).
