The object of research: corporate image and enterprise economic security. Investigated problem: methodical approach to mutually agreed management of enterprise’s image and its economic security. The main scientific results: theoretical analysis of the opinions, which are presented in the scientific literature of enterprise economic security functional components and the mechanism of their formation, is carried out. The functional components of economic security related to the internal and external aspects of enterprise are studied in detail, and their close relationship with image components is determined. The stages of enterprise image management are schematically shown with taking into account the compliance of image economic security components levels. The area of practical use of the research results: the need to adhere to certain sequence of actions aimed at forming a positive image and managing it in enterprises is emphasized. It is advisable to use an approach to the formation of corporate image with taking into account the targeted influence of management entities on the business environment. Technological innovation: the enterprise economic security structure in the context of modern tendencies is proposed, the complex of measures which are recommended to be applied for enterprise image maintenance is determined. Scope of application for technological innovation: practical activity of Ukrainian enterprises is in interconnection with other business environment participants

Epibryon kondratyukii sp. nov., a new algicolous fungus, and notes on rare lichenicolous fungi collected in Southern Ukraine

    Get PDF
The new algicolous fungus Epibryon kondratyukii sp. nov. grows on Coccomyxa-like films on leaves of Polytrichum piliferum in Southern Ukraine. The species is characterized by sessile black setose pseudothecia, short 0–2-celled paraphysoids, 8-spored fissitunicate asci and hyaline 0–1-septate ascospores. The lichenicolous fungi Adelococcus interlatens, Ascochyta candelariellicola, Clypeococcum psoromatis, Epithamnolia rangiferinae, Lawalreea lecanorae, Llimoniella adnata, Merismatium decolorans, Sphaerellothecium cladoniae, Stigmidium bellemerei, S. ramalinae and Weddellomyces epicallopisma are new to the mycobiota of the Ukraine. Cladonia foliacea is a new host for Epithamnolia rangiferinae, Lecidea fuscoatra for Katherinomyces cetrariae, and Flavoplaca austrocitrina for Weddellomyces epicallopisma

Voltammetric aptasensors for protein disease biomarkers detection: a review

    Get PDF
"Available online 24 May 2016"An electrochemical aptasensor is a compact analytical device where the bioreceptor (aptamer) is coupled to a transducer surface to convert a biological interaction into a measurable signal (current) that can be easily processed, recorded and displayed. Since the discovery of the Systematic Evolution of Ligands by Enrichment (SELEX) methodology, the selection of aptamers and their application as bioreceptors has become a promising tool in the design of electrochemical aptasensors. Aptamers present several advantages that highlight their usefulness as bioreceptors such as chemical stability, cost effectiveness and ease of modification towards detection and immobilization at different transducer surfaces. In this review, a special emphasis is given to the potential use of electrochemical aptasensors for the detection of protein disease biomarkers using voltammetry techniques. Methods for the immobilization of aptamers onto electrode surfaces are discussed, as well as different electrochemical strategies that can be used for the design of aptasensors. The authors acknowledge the financial support from the Strategic funding of UID/BIO/04469/2013 unit, from Project POCI-01-0145- FEDER-006984 – Associate Laboratory LSRE-LCM funded by FEDER funds through COMPETE2020 - Programa Operacional Competitividade e Internacionalização (POCI) – and by national funds through FCT - Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia and project ref.
