En este artículo se sitúa al escritor y profesor argentino Ricardo Piglia en el centro del debate académico sobre la Educación literaria partiendo de la idea de que su poética de la lectura aporta hipótesis capaces de construir un marco de investigación viable sobre la formación de la competencia lecto-literaria. Se consideran fundamentales sus ideas acerca de los circuitos de producción de conocimiento sobre la lectura, los tipos de lectores, el debate sobre el canon y la intertextualidad narrativa, para contribuir a la discusión sobre cómo debemos enseñar literatura en un contexto regido por las nuevas tecnologías y los nuevos soportes de lectura.In this article the writer and Argentine Ricardo Piglia profesor stands at the center of the academic debate on literary education based on the idea that his poetic reading hypothesis provides a framework capable to build viable research on the formation of the reading and literary competence. El mito del doble en la representación cinematográfica.

The purpose of this paper is to inquire the loss of the self and the inconsistency which is appearing in the cultural life of the second half of the twentieth century, with the intention of proving that what we are or who we are is not the result of our inner self or «essence», but the result of how we have been constructed and represented within the social group we belong to. Henceforth two particular films have been analysed: Persona by Ingmar Bergman, and Multiplicity by Harold Ramis, the first premiered in 1966, the latter thirty years later, in 1996. These films provide examples of how contemporary fiction transmits archaic myths though masked, rewritten and adapted to the new problems of human beings and their socio-historical conditions. In both films, the mythical narrative of the double pattern gives us the keys to understanding the always complex and problematic human identity. Moreover, not only do both directors share a similar approach, but they also evoke contemporary concerns with a timeless form. The problem of identity is thus eternal in time as well as in space

La Historia imaginaria del lector o de cómo narrar la experiencia literaria : A propósito de Ricardo Piglia

Pocas experiencias me resultan tan intensas como la experiencia literaria. Los recuerdos que tenemos de nuestras propias lecturas nos ayudan a construir una memoria personal y, al mismo al tiempo, ajena, llena de escenas ficticias que no nos pertenecen pero que integramos en el gran género híbrido de nuestra vida. Ricardo Piglia recuerda que a veces los libros que nos marcan no son los grandes clásicos, ni siquiera los más importantes que nos mandaron leer en la escuela, pero recordamos el momento justo en el que lo leímos, si estábamos tumbados en el sofá o sentados en el escritorio, si era medio día y el sol entraba por la ventana o si nos dejamos la vista, aquella noche, bajo la luz de lámpara. El recuerdo del primer contacto con la lectura o de esa primera lectura que hizo que algo dentro de nosotros mismos ya no fuera igual y se nos antojara el mundo algo más luminoso y revelador. Modernidades en disputa: de Piglia a Sarmiento. Operaciones críticas

The present paper seeks to explore the complex and transitory nature that governs the development of modernity in Argentine narrative through the dichotomy between politics and aesthetics and their intrinsic issues. Specifically, it examines the debate on literary autonomy and the role of the writer in society. The study revolves around four key figures representing three pivotal moments of an era: Sarmiento, Borges-Macedonio, and Ricardo Piglia. The central thesis of the article is that Ricardo Piglia embraces the Argentine tradition of previous models and manages to overcome the asynchronous relationship with European literature through a process of reading.  Keywords: autonomy, asynchrony, civilization and barbarism, Ricardo Piglia, modernity. El presente artículo trata de indagar en la naturaleza compleja y transitoria que rige el desarrollo de la modernidad en la narrativa argentina a partir de la dicotomía entre política y estética y sus problemáticas intrínsecas. A saber: el debate sobre la autonomización literaria y la función del escritor en la sociedad. El trabajo se articula en torno a cuatro figuras clave representantes de tres momentos bisagra de una época: Sarmiento, Borges-Macedonio y Ricardo Piglia. Nostalgia, utopía y complot: la lectura como práctica colectiva en la obra de Ricardo Piglia

This essay analyzes the way in which the notions of nostalgia, utopia, and plot coherently articulate the entirety of Ricardo Piglia's work. It is pointed out how these concepts link the three fundamental practices on which his poetics are built: reading, writing and teaching. With this, it is intended to collectively demonstrate that the fictional project of the Argentine author advocates reading as a practice of interpretation, whose theory germinated during the 60s while collaborating with the magazine Los Libros and, years later, Piglia developed more explicitly in his literature classes to translate it, ultimately, into his fiction.Este ensayo analiza el modo en que las nociones de nostalgia, utopía y complot articulan de manera coherente la obra de Ricardo Piglia. Se señala cómo dichos conceptos hilan las tres prácticas fundamentales sobre las que se construye su poética: leer, escribir y enseñar. Con ello, se pretende demostrar que el proyecto ficcional del autor argentino aboga por la lectura como práctica de interpretación colectiva, cuya teoría germinó durante los años 60 mientras colaboraba con la revista Los Libros y, años más tarde, desarrolló de modo más explícito en sus clases de literatura para plasmarla, en última instancia, en su ficción

Storytelling and Fiction in Educational and Pedagogical Research: relationships and disciplinary boundaries

A partir de los años 70 del pasado siglo hemos asistido, tanto en los estudios literarios como en las investigaciones educativas, no solo a un “giro narrativo” (McEwan y Egan, 1995) sino a un “giro autobiográfico” que aparece como una consecuencia más de la importante herencia romántica que ha gestado el panorama literario contemporáneo (desde el Bildungsroman hasta la autoficción). Así, este artículo pretende hacer un recorrido por las intersecciones y los cruces de los problemas que surgen cuando se aborda el tema desde una zona de borde interdisciplinar entre la Literatura y la Educación

RICARDO PIGLIA: LA FICCIÓN DEL NOMBRE

Abstract: The present study analyzes the three volumes of Los diariosde Emilio Renzi in relation to his previous work, within what Lejeunecalled “the autobiographical space”. We study how Piglia finds throughdiary and autobiography the ideal way to narrate the experience of life: theautobiographical genre mainly allows the author of artificial respirationto invent itself through three fundamental strategies: the constructionof a family and literary lineage; the fiction of the proper name and theintertextuality, that is, the appropriation of other readings not only asaesthetics but as ethics.Resumen: El presente estudio analiza los tres tomos de Los diarios deEmilio Renzi en relación con su obra anterior, dentro de lo que Lejeunellamó “el espacio autobiográfico”. Estudiamos de qué modo Pigliaencuentra a través del diario y la autobiografía la forma ideal para narrar laexperiencia de la vida. Doble e identidad en "Black Swan", de Darren Aronofsky

Black Swan (2010), dirigida por Darren Aronofsky, plasma en pantalla a través del motivo del doble los elementos que constituyen la crisis del sujeto y que representan al individuo bajo el signo de la disipación. Mediante un análisis temático y discursivo examinamos cómo la protagonista, Nina Sayers, al intentar construir su propio proyecto de vida, se ve abocada a las contradicciones más agudas de la sociedad, manifestadas, sobre todo, a nivel del cuerpo, tanto en el manifiesto simbolismo del motivo del doble como en el “terror biológico” que representa al cuerpo como un objeto de consumo y manipulación más de nuestra época. Aronofsky construye una mitología moderna del cuerpo, en la cual se concibe, no como elemento de perversión y lujuria de la mujer, sino como soporte privilegiado en el que se objetivan todos nuestros deseos y también todos nuestros temores: la belleza y el erotismo constituyen sus leitmotivs esenciales en los que se esconde también lo siniestro bajo la forma de la autoflagelación y la mutilación del cuerpo. Black Swan (2010), directed by Darren Aronofsky, translates to the screen through the motif of the doppelgänger the elements that constitute the crisis of the subject and represent the individual under the sign of dissipation. Through a thematic and discursive analysis, we examine how the main character, Nina Sayers, trying to build her own live project, is doomed to the most acute contradictions in society, manifested especially at the body, both in the manifest symbolism of the motif of the doppelgänger as in the "biological terror" that represents the body as one object more of consumption and handling in our time. Aronofsky builds a modern mythology of the body, which is conceived not as an element of perversion and lust of women, but as a privileged medium on which all our desires and our fears are objectified: the beauty and eroticism are its essential leitmotifs which also hide sinister in the form of self-flagellation and mutilation of the body

The teaching of literary reading in the XXI century:The theory of Ricardo Piglia reading at the college level

En este trabajo se aborda la lectura universitaria como campo de teoría y de práctica, partiendo de la hipótesis de que la teoría de la lectura del escritor argentino Ricardo Piglia, diseminada a lo largo de su producción intelectual, constituye un auténtico modelo para la formación literaria, ya que sitúa la interacción lector-texto en el eje de su propuesta. Sus reflexiones como profesor y como escritor muestran una intensa correlación entre el campo de la didáctica y el campo de la crítica y la teoría literarias capaces de llenar el vacío teórico existente referido a la enseñanza de la lectura como una trama compleja donde se cruzan ideas sobre las formas de la construcción y distribución del saber.In this paper, reading university as a field of theory and practice is addressed, on the assumption that the theory of reading the Argentine writer Ricardo Piglia, disseminated throughout his intellectual production, is a real model for the literary education, because it places the reader-text interaction in the axis of its proposal. His reflections as a teacher and writer show a strong correlation between the field of teaching and the field of literary criticism and theory able to fill the theoretical vacuum on the teaching of reading as a complex network where ideas are crossing over forms of construction and distribution of knowledge.peerReviewe
