Filosofia ocultă de Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa (De occulta philosophia) – una din cele mai vechi cărți din Colecția Koch: studiu de caz

Introduction. The Koch Collection of old and rare book, which holds 2 very valuable editions of the work „Occult Philosophy” (De Occulta Philosophia) by Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa, is kept in the collection of the Scientific Medical Library of the Nicolae Testemitanu University. The publications are some of the oldest books in the R. Koch Collection (16th century). The purpose of the work. Capitalizing on publications (by Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa) that reflect the occult philosophy. Material and Methods. Studying and presenting the mystical elements described in books (figures, diagrams, pentagrams, Kabbalistic elements, etc.). Analysis and synthesis of researched publications and descriptive method. Results. The special elements in the books have been identified. Manuscript notes (translations, decipherment of occult symbols, etc.) were also analyzed. Conclusions. Both editions of the book „Occult Philosophy” was recognized as a significant contribution to the Renaissance philosophical discussion of the powers of magic and its relationship to religion. These books were designed to be more scholarly and intellectual than mysterious and ominous.Introducere. În fondul Bibliotecii Științifice Medicale a USMF „Nicolae Testemițanu” se păstrează Colecția de carte veche și rară Koch care deține 2 ediții deosebit de valoroase ale operei “Filosofia ocultă” (De Occulta Philosophia) de Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa. Publicațiile sunt unele din cele mai vechi cărți din Colecția R. Koch (sec. XVI). Scopul lucrării. Valorificarea publicațiilor (de Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa) care reflectă filosofia ocultă. Material și Metode. Studierea și prezentarea elementelor mistice descrise în cărți (figuri, diagrame, pentagrame, elemente cabalistice etc.). Analiza și sinteza publicațiilor cercetate și metoda descriptivă. Rezultate. Au fost identificate elementele deosebite din cărți. De asemenea, au fost analizate însemnările manuscrise (traduceri, descifrarea simbolurilor oculte etc.). Concluzii. Ambele ediții ale cărții “Filosofia ocultă” au fost recunoscute ca o contribuție semnificativă la discuția filozofică renascentistă cu privire la puterile magiei și relația acesteia cu religia. Aceste cărți au fost concepute mai mult savante și intelectuale decât misterioase și prevestitoare

THE COLLECTION OF PUBLICATIONS OF THE PHYSICIAN-SCIENTIST ALEXEI MOLOHOV FROM THE FUND OF THE SCIENTIFIC MEDICAL LIBRARY

Universitatea de Stat de Medicină şi Farmacie „Nicolae Testemiţanu”, Chişinău, Republica MoldovaIntroducere. Biblioteca Științifică Medicală a USMF „Nicolae Testemițanu” deține publicații valoroase din colecțiile personale care au aparținut medicilor iluștri, savanților. Printre acestea se numără și „Colecția Alexei Molohov”, care este una din cele mai mari colecții personale din domeniul psihiatriei (peste 1000 exemplare editate în sec. XIX-XX). Scop. Valorificarea Colecției de publicații care a aparținut medicului-savant Alexei Molohov. Obiective. Identificarea valorii bibliofile a publicațiilor și studierea exemplarelor deosebite. Materiale și metode. Au fost analizate materialele din dosarele personale ale lui Molohov păstrate în Muzeul universitar al USMF „Nicolae Testemițanu”. Au fost studiate lucrările științifice publicate de A. Molohov. Au fost aplicate metoda de analiză și sinteză tematică, comparativă și deductivă. Exemplarele au fost examinate sub aspect tematic, poligrafic etc., au fost studiate însemnările deosebite (Ex Libris, autografe, dedicații etc.). Rezultate. În rezultatul studiului a fost stabilită proveniența Colecției de publicații, care a fost donată Bibliotecii Științifice Republicane de Psihiatrie № 1 din localitatea Costiujeni în anul 1967. Colecția include exemplare din domeniile: psihiatrie, neurologie, medicină legală etc., editate în limbile rusă, germană, franceză, engleză, română, italiană, poloneză, cehă. Prezintă interes lucrările personalităților notorii. Pe cărți este aplicată Ex Libris ștampila «Алексей Николаевич Молохов. Врач». Publicațiile dețin însemnări manuscrise, autografe și dedicații. Concluzii. Publicațiile valoroase din colecția personală a prof. A. Molohov constituie o bogată sursă de informare atât în domeniul psihiatriei, cât și în alte domenii medicale. Colecția A. Molohov face parte din patrimoniul documentar al BȘM și prezintă un interes deosebit pentru medici, cercetători, bibliofili.Introduction. The Scientific Medical Library of Nicolae Testemiţanu University owns valuable publications from personal collections that belonged to eminent physicians, scientists. Among them is the „A. Molohov Collection” which is one of the largest collections in the psychiatric field (more than 1000 copies published in the XIX-XX century). Purpose. Valuing the collection of publications that belonged to physician-scientist Alexei Molohov. Objectives. Identifying the bibliophilic value of publications and studying outstanding copies. Materials and methods. There were analyzed materials from Molohov’s personal folders stored in the University Museum of Nicolae Testemiţanu University. Scientific works published by A. Molohov Were studied. There were applied thematic, comparative and deductive analysis and synthesis. Copies were examined thematically, polygraphically, etc. Were studied special inscriptions (ExLibris, autographs, dedications, etc.). Results. As a result of the study, was established the provenance of the collection of publications, which was donated to the Republican Scientific Library of Psychiatry № 1 in Costiujeni in 1967. The collection includes copies in the fields of psychiatry, neurology, forensic medicine, etc., published in Russian, German, French, English, Romanian, Italian, Polish, Czech. The works of well-known personalities are of interest. On the books is applied „Алексей Николаевич Молохов. Врач” the Ex Libris stamp. The publications have handwritten inscriptions, autographs and dedications. Conclusions. The valuable publications from Prof. A. Molohov’s personal collection are a rich source of information both in the field of psychiatry and in other medical fields. The A. Molohov collection is part of the documentary heritage of the SML and presents particular interest for doctors, researchers and bibliophiles

Signatures of quantum integrability and nonintegrability in the spectral properties of finite Hamiltonian matrices

For a two-spin model which is (classically) integrable on a five-dimensional hypersurface in six-dimensional parameter space and for which level degeneracies occur exclusively (with one known exception) on four-dimensional manifolds embedded in the integrability hypersurface, we investigate the relations between symmetry, integrability, and the assignment of quantum numbers to eigenstates. We calculate quantum invariants in the form of expectation values for selected operators and monitor their dependence on the Hamiltonian parameters along loops within, without, and across the integrability hypersurface in parameter space. We find clear-cut signatures of integrability and nonintegrability in the observed traces of quantum invariants evaluated in finite-dimensional invariant Hilbert subspaces, The results support the notion that quantum integrability depends on the existence of action operators as constituent elements of the Hamiltonian.Comment: 11 page

Measurement of omega meson parameters in pi^+pi^-pi^0 decay mode with CMD-2

About 11 200 e^+e^- -> omega -> pi^+pi^-pi^0 events selected in the center of mass energy range from 760 to 810 MeV were used for the measurement of the \omega meson parameters. The following results have been obtained: sigma _{0}=(1457 \pm 23 \pm 19)nb, m_{\omega}=(782.71 \pm 0.07 \pm 0.04) MeV/c^{2}, \Gamma_{\omega}=(8.68 \pm 0.23 \pm 0.10) MeV, \Gamma_{e^+e^-}\cdot Br (\omega -> pi^+pi^-pi^0)= (0.528 \pm 0.012 \pm 0.007) \cdot 10^{-3} MeV.Comment: 8 pages, 4 figure

Biblioteca Științifică Medicală a USMF „Nicolae Testemițanu” păstrează Colecția de carte veche și rară Richard Koch, în care se regăsește o ediție antumă a lui Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa De Occulta Philosophia, care datează din sec. XVI. Această operă e pătrunsă de animismul specific filozofiei naturii, pe care autorul o concepea ca pe un organism viu. Scop. Valorificarea operei De Occulta Philosophia. Obiective. Identificarea valorii bibliofile a publicației lui Cornelius Agrippa De Occulta Philosophia și promovarea acesteia. Materiale și metode: Analiza de conținut și sinteza materialului cercetat sunt metodele de bază aplicate în vederea realizării scopului și obiectivelor. Totodată au fost studiate însemnările deosebite din carte. Rezultate. Opera De Occulta Philosophia este una din cele mai vechi publicații din Colecția Richard Koch. Au fost identificate peste 300 de însemnări manuscrise. În rezultatul studiului s-a constatat că, în viziunea lui Agrippa, magia este calea către cunoașterea tainelor naturii se lumii în care trăim. Concluzii. De Occulta Philosophia reprezintă o vastă contribuție la reflecția filozofică din epoca Renașterii asupra magiei și a relației acesteia cu religia. Opera este recunoscută drept cea mai importantă realizare din istoria ocultismului occidental.Introduction. The Medical Scientific Library of Nicolae Testemiţanu University preserves the R. Koch old and rare book collection, which contains an early edition of Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa’s „De Occulta Philosophia”, which dates from the century. XVI. This work is permeated by the animism specific to the philosophy of nature, which the author conceived as a living organism. Purpose. Capitalizing on the work „De Occulta Philosophia”. Objectives. Identifying the bibliophile value of Cornelius Agrippa’s publication „De Occulta Philosophia” and promoting it. Materials and methods. Content analysis and synthesis of the researched material are the basic methods applied in order to achieve the purpose and objectives. At the same time, the special notes in the book were studied. Results. The work „De Occulta Philosophia” is one of the oldest publications in the R. Koch Collection. More than 300 manuscript notes have been identified. As a result of the study, we find that in Agrippa’s vision - magic is the way to the knowledge of the secrets of nature and the world in which we live. Conclusions. De Occulta Philosophia represents a vast contribution to the Renaissance-era philosophical reflection on magic and its relationship with religion. The work is recognized as the most important achievement in the history of Western occultism

Rolul bibliotecii în gestionarea documentelor de patrimoniu: studiu de caz, Biblioteca Științifică Medicală

The lecture presents information about the activity of theoretical aspects, methodological and practical guidelines for safeguarding documentary heritage, studying the concept of saving the documentary heritage, research and evaluation of the level of implementation of safeguarding activities. Objective of the study. Identification, description of theoretical approaches to the preservation of documentary heritage, determining the perspectives of cultural projects for the implementation of activities of safeguarding the documentary heritage. Material and Methods. Historical - the research of historical studies of the evolution of the safeguarding process; theoretical - documentation, classification, generalization, analysis of national and international theory and practice; empirical - observation, direct conversation and explanation; sociological - interviewing; Results. Through the topic proposed for research, I try to communicate the role of the library in managing heritage information as a case study, selecting the Medical Scientific Library of the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy; recounting activities to safeguard the collection. Conclusion. The study can serve to develop the safeguard policy within the Medical Scientific Library of the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy.Introducere. Comunicarea prezintă o sinteză a studiului despre aspectele teoretice, metodologice și practice ale orientării de salvgardare a patrimoniului documentar. Scopul lucrării. Studierea conceptului de salvgardare a patrimoniului documentar, cercetarea și evaluarea nivelului de implementare a acestui proces în cadrul Bibliotecii Științifice Medicale. Material și Metode. Istorică - cercetarea studiilor istorice ale evoluției procesului de salvgardare; teoretice - documentarea, clasificarea, generalizarea, analiza teoriei și a practicii naționale și internaționale; empirice - observarea, comunicarea directă și explicația; sociologice - intervievarea. Rezultate.
