    Changes in body perception and evaluation among women from adolescence to adulthoodThe inspiration for the discussion presented in the article were differences in body self-perception in women from adolescence to adulthood. The results of research conducted among a group of 476 women at the age between 13 and 50 revealed regularities and tendencies for developmental changes in female body perception. There were distinguished three age groups connected with the appearance of signifi cant changes in body perception ensuing from various social roles and developmental tasks that the fair sex representatives need to face during subsequent life stages. The first stage was observed in participants aged around 18, which sets the transition between adolescence and adulthood and at the same time begins the period with the most experienced satisfaction with one’s own appearance. Entering the next stage of body perception development at the age of 25, there appears the so-called middle life crisis which is another turning point not only in the area of gathering experiences, reflections, and competencies of the gentle sex, but also in area of own body perception and evaluation

    Hydrothermal synthesis of euhedral Co3O4Co_{3}O_{4} nanocrystals via nutrient-assisted topotactic transformation of the layered Co(OH)2Co(OH)_{2} precursor under anoxic conditions : insights into intricate routes leading to spinel phase development and shape perfection

    Euhedral cobalt spinel cubes, octahedra, and cuboctahedra with narrow size dispersions have been synthesized in a one-pot hydrothermal reaction, using cobalt(II) nitrate and sodium hydroxide at variable concentrations as the only reagents, while their ratio was kept constant at cCo2+/cOHc_{Co^2+}/c_{OH^–} = 2.7. Three main reaction stages, including parent reactive template (PRT) formation, nutrient mediated topotactic nucleation (NTN), and morphogenesis of nanocrystals (MNC), were distinguished. In the NTN step, the primary spinel grains development occurs with the [100] and [111] directions of the Co3O4Co_{3}O_{4} facets inheriting the [1-11] direction of the elongated PRT plates (formation of cubes) or the [001] direction of the hexagonal PRT plates (formation of octahedra). In an anoxic environment, the excess nitrate anions play a critical role as the Co2+Co^{2+} to Co3+Co^{3+} oxidants and oxygen donors required to attain the Co3O4Co_{3}O_{4} stoichiometry. The nucleated Co3O4Co_{3}O_{4} primary nanocrystals are spontaneously assembled into sub-micrometer spinel mesocrystals via imperfectly oriented attachments and then consolidated into euhedral bulk nanocrystals by a hydrothermal treatment (nanocubes) or via dissolution and reentrant recrystallization processes (octahedra and cuboctahedra)

    Identification of 12 new susceptibility loci for different histotypes of epithelial ovarian cancer.

    To identify common alleles associated with different histotypes of epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC), we pooled data from multiple genome-wide genotyping projects totaling 25,509 EOC cases and 40,941 controls. We identified nine new susceptibility loci for different EOC histotypes: six for serous EOC histotypes (3q28, 4q32.3, 8q21.11, 10q24.33, 18q11.2 and 22q12.1), two for mucinous EOC (3q22.3 and 9q31.1) and one for endometrioid EOC (5q12.3). We then performed meta-analysis on the results for high-grade serous ovarian cancer with the results from analysis of 31,448 BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutation carriers, including 3,887 mutation carriers with EOC. This identified three additional susceptibility loci at 2q13, 8q24.1 and 12q24.31. Integrated analyses of genes and regulatory biofeatures at each locus predicted candidate susceptibility genes, including OBFC1, a new candidate susceptibility gene for low-grade and borderline serous EOC

The aim of this thesis was to obtain the set of techniques which are used to create an appropriate image of newly formed political party.The first part of the thesis presents the basic assumption of political marketing in theory and practice. In this chapter the concept of political marketing defined for the first time is discussed and a concept of marketing that was created with the development of marketing techniques.In the next part of the study the structure of political marketing has been shown.The structures of political marketing are: a political market as a place of communication, political commodity, the psychology of colour, the psychological methods of building an image of politician.The last part of the work presents the political party, "Twój Ruch” - Your Movement. This section presents a profile of Janusz Palikot a political leader of the party "Your Movement".
