The present experiment comprising of 15 pigeonpea (vegetable type) genotypes. The experiment was laid down in randomized complete block design with three replications at research farm, ICAR-Indian Institute of Pulses Research, Kanpur during Kharif 2014 and 2015. The ANOVA revealed significant variability among the characters under study. The genotype, IPAV1 recorded the higher mean values for pods/harvest (161.90±3.47), pod length (9.81±0.07) and seeds/pod (5.73±0.08). Similarly, IPAV5 recorded the higher mean value for pod bearing length (48.33±0.43). While that of IPAV3 recorded comparatively low values for plant height (158.67±1.68), number of primary branches (2.23±0.15) and pods/harvest (58.53±3.47). High GCV coupled with high genetic advance as percent of mean were recorded for plant height, number of primary branches, pod bearing length, pods/harvest and green seed protein (%). The study identified eight genotypes showing resistant reaction against Fusarium wilt under both wilt sick field and green house screening conditions. Nutritional component analysis facilitated identification of IPAV13 for high (25.13%) green seed protein whereas, low (15.06%) was evident in IPAV8. The genotype, IPAV13 recorded the low polyphenol (2.43 mg/100g) content. The reported promising genotypes for high yield attributes, protein content and wilt resistance may be used as donors in the future breeding of pigeonpea
