Bakalářská práce se zabývá výrobou skutečné součásti pomocí technologie vytavitelného modelu. V práci je popsána charakteristika technologie vytavitelného modelu, následně konstrukce 3D součásti, výroba silikonové formy, výroba voskového (plastového) modelu součásti. V závěru je provedeno technickoekonomické zhodnocení.This thesis deals with the real production of component by using investment casting technology. The thesis describes characteristics of investment casting technology, subsequently construction of 3D component, production of silicone mould, production of wax (plastic) of the model component. At the end of the work is provided technical and economic evaluation.

AVONET: morphological, ecological and geographical data for all birds

Functional traits offer a rich quantitative framework for developing and testing theories in evolutionary biology, ecology and ecosystem science. However, the potential of functional traits to drive theoretical advances and refine models of global change can only be fully realised when species‐level information is complete. Here we present the AVONET dataset containing comprehensive functional trait data for all birds, including six ecological variables, 11 continuous morphological traits, and information on range size and location. Raw morphological measurements are presented from 90,020 individuals of 11,009 extant bird species sampled from 181 countries. These data are also summarised as species averages in three taxonomic formats, allowing integration with a global phylogeny, geographical range maps, IUCN Red List data and the eBird citizen science database. The AVONET dataset provides the most detailed picture of continuous trait variation for any major radiation of organisms, offering a global template for testing hypotheses and exploring the evolutionary origins, structure and functioning of biodiversity

Additive manufacturing FDM method for replacement part production for old motor-cycle

Na závěr je vyroben díl z vhodného materiálu, který má vlákna tisku kladena v závislosti na výsledcích z MKP.The diploma thesis is focused on the use of FDM printing for spare parts of old motorcycle (Stadion S22). The first part presents the technologies of 3D printing and their use, a description of FDM printing and the design of the printer Prusa i3 MK3S +. Furthermore the basic materials used in FDM printing are listed and 3 of them are selected for material testing. The printed part was compared with the results from FEM. Finally, part printed from a suitable material has the printing fibers laid depending on the results from FEM.Dopravní fakulta Jana PerneraStudent přednesl obhajobu své diplomové práce. Zodpověděl otázky z posudku oponenta práce a bez problémů reagoval na všechny dotazy členů komise.

This work is focused on the idea of a three-wheeled city vechicle. In the first part we have specified the specifics of city traffic and the resulting demands on the vehicle. Subsequently, selected concepts of three-wheeled vehicle and the most suitable for urban traffic are presented. Finally, the selected traction characteristics of the vehicle are elaborated.

The purpose of design for hand tools

    Get PDF
This thesis deals with the effect of the design on hand tools. In the first theoretical part of this thesis, individual manual operations carried out during manufacturing are being further analyzed. The next part then focuses on the individual aspects of the product design and its influence on the hand tools. Followed by the processing of achieved parameters in handwork. The experimental part of this thesis deals with adjustments of the tap wrench´s handles made for manual cutting of internal threads. The utilization of the material when selecting a semi-finished product from blanks as well as the evaluation of the manufacturing in this way itself are also closely described in this part
