This study, commissioned by the European Parliament’s Policy Department for Citizen’s Rights and Constitutional Affairs at the request of the LIBE and PETI Committees, analyses the current status of transposition of selected provisions of Directive 2004/38/EC in Sweden and identifies the main persisting barriers to free movement for EU citizens and their family members in Swedish national law and
practice. The study also examines discriminatory restrictions to free movement, measures to counter abuse of rights and refusals of entry and residence rights, in addition to expulsions

El presente estudio, encargado por el Departamento Temático de Derechos de los Ciudadanos y Asuntos Constitucionales del Parlamento Europeo a petición de las Comisiones LIBE y PETI, analiza el estado actual de transposición de determinadas disposiciones de la Directiva 2004/38/CE en España y determina los principales obstáculos que persisten a la libre circulación de los ciudadanos de la UE y sus familiares en la legislación y la práctica españolas.
